I've had my captivate over a year now and as many of you know the gps is a piece of crap on the captivate.
Did samsung make the sg2 with a good gps?
I want to know before I upgrade.

Ive asked this also. Picked mine up this morning and man is it a real beauty, the screen is awesome, so far stock perfermance is verry good.

Picked up my Infuse today, holy crap is it nasty!
So far compared to Inspire:
Sound - Much clearer and louder
Screen - ... WOW, not even comparable. The extra size is nice but nothing compared to the beauty of this screen
Signal - Better everywhere so far. My real test is at work tomorrow
Size - While the screen is big, it is SO thin, and Amazingly light!
This phone is fantastic so far, I couldn't be happier.
Can't wait for XDA Section
P.s. where do you get drivers for the phone?

Where or what drives did you use?
I can't believe that a phone that is of this caliber doesn't have blutooth voice dial.
My ancient bb curve 8310 has voice dial. Thats very sad.

I bought the Atrix the day it came out. I also just bought the Infuse yesterday. The Atrix went on ebay and sold. And its better that way. Even though the specs on the Atrix are better, in my opinion its not better then the Infuse. And I dont have to even discuss why lol

I've been lookin around fir cm7 for the galaxy s 4g and i havent really found one. I mean ive found it for the international galaxy s and the vibrant but no galaxy s 4g. Can anyone help? Ive also seen a g2x with cm7 and thats been out for less time than the gs4g.

I've been looking at buying one of these off CL but have been holding out due to no CM7. I might just go get a Vibrant instead.

I love the gs4g but im having so many problems with mine and the fact that it doesnt have cyanogenmod support is driving me nuts. How strict r the roms? Like is it an absolute no to try the vibrant one on the gs4g??

ONLY IN CANADA.. yes it is similar in many ways but galaxy s is nothing but a branding. the ics you are talking about is only foe the i9000 family. that's the i9000 captivate and vibrant though it may also be on the fascinate and epidemic because those phones maybe can use bits for the nexus s 4g from sprint. there are also galaxy s phone that don't share hardware like the i9003, sgs 2 mini and sgs plus which are not cross compatible

it needs a lot of work due to the screen, cameras, radio, Bluetooth, GPS and maybe wifi hardware being different. it may be possible but would be lucky to even reach the level of cm7 which still has no audio over Bluetooth.

Infuse is close enough to almost beat it lol. If i upgrade soon, ill either get the note or one x. Or if the gs3 comes out soon maybe that, honestly can not wait until the note comes with the s4 then ill go for that anyday.

The skyrockets a great phone but its just too big for me so i picked myself up a unlocked droid 3 which i got a great deal on. I only have 3g where i live anyway.
Its already somewhat outdated, but i still have my skyrocket. I just love having a physical keyboard phone on hand, not to mention it works with medianet ( 15$ unlimited data ).
Most of you are probolly thinking who the hell are you? lol
I think most of us were waiting for me to come in and make some smart ass comment about thia strange and somewhat my little ponyish cry for attention. Ill refrain though and just give you a little picture of my doggie instead.
