whats the apps name?

Webspace isn't that expensive these days, If you were wanting to have a webpage to describe the app, then perhaps somewhere like bluehost would be good.
They have unlimited data transfer and space. It's where I host my the webapp for my Android App (Awesome Widgets Bundle)

Password keeper / e-Wallet app

Hi,
Anyone can recommend me a good app to keep password / important information (like bank account / etc.) ?
Usually it is just an app where you can store some information, encrypted and passworded.
If you are using one, please let me know the name of the app
Thanks!

I have been trying LastPass and think it is very good.
I use universal password manager...kind of reminds me of the BB passkeeper.

Ooh...I like Secrets! Cool!
I used eWallet Pro with Windows Mobile. It worked great for sync-ing your passwords between PC and phone. I hoped they would develop version for android (just like they did for iPhone and BlackBerry). But they never did.
I looked for other alternatives with same functionalities. That's where KeePass came. I could export/import everything from eWallet to KeePass. Then got KeePassDroid from the market and copied over the database to SD card.

I have used used KeePass for many years.
On every Windows PC I've ever owned & even when I dabbled in Linux.
As soon as I found it was available for Android, it continues to be the first app I install/reinstall after every ROM switch.

[Req]Gtalk Requirement For Market

Hi There,
Is there some way to connect to talk via some other port? Cause on some Wifi network(like at my library) the default port that gtalk uses on android is blocked.
Because of the stupid requirement of gtalk needing to be connected, I cannot download any apps.
Or better still has someone come up with a app that downloads apps from the market without the need to sign into gtalk.
I tried app brain, and I was thought it would download the app once I sync. But it has not done so.
Cheers
Pritish
This would be interesting to know if possible.
As for right now, I think your only solution is to try a proxy or vpn.

How can I connect through a proxy via wifi?
Can anyone explain to me why google made the gtalk sign in requirement for market?
I've uninstalled Gtalk via Titanium Backup, as I don't use or need it, and I can still download from the Market. Maybe it depends on phone?

Were not talking about the app, but the protocols it uses as that's how the market communicates with Googles servers

Found this website called Slideme. At the moment that's only place I can download apps over wifi, but they obviously don't have all the choices

[Q] Is there no app for up/downloading files to Google Docs?

I have been searching for an app for the last 3 days but couldn't find anything that fits:
Requirement:
*simple app for uploading and downloading (any, not only "office" files) to Google Docs, basically something like the Dropbox client but only for Google
* optional automatic sync over wifi
Am I really looking for something that does not (yet) exist?
Someone told me that an app with such functionality is unwanted by Google?!
Greets,
Georg
PS: Sorry if I post this in the wrong section, couldn't find a better one...
Tried Docs by Google?
Yes, I did. But there is no option to download files directly to my device. You can only upload and edit files as far as I know...

Some time ago I was using this one: https://market.android.com/details?id=art.wild.gdocs . It does what you want, I think. In addition it uses oauth and this is a big advantage for me, because I hate to enter my Google password into some apps.
Web browser?
You don't really need a specific app for every website on the internet.

Direct Access to 'APKs' From Android Market (Download APKs directly) ??

Gents,
Does anyone know how to or has anyone tried to download APKs directly from the Android Market?
I'm curious if anyone has done any 'packet sniffing' or has otherwise monitored how the APKs are requested from and then downloaded from the Android Market?
** I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT WAREZ OR PAID APPS **
In short, instead of going to the Android Market through a PC and selecting the application to download to your Android device or doing this from within your device, I'm looking to somehow access the Google Server and peruse their list of APKs?
Even if that isn't possible, just a simple 'Save As', 'Save Link As', 'Save Target As' that will call the '.apk' would be fine?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

[APP] WorldWide Flix

hey all,
there is a new app on the market called WorldWide Flix which allows you to see Netflix video all over the world.
it gets a list of quality proxy server from the US and sets it to your device.
if the server is not fast enough you can simply go to the next one.
the application has a rating mechanism that lets you rate the server so that the bad servers go to the bottom of the results list.
it fits every android device with OS version of 2.1 and above.
Enjoy!

Because this app doesn't require monthly fee as all VPN service does... only 1$ for downloading and that's it...
You can also use it for other services like Hulu..
hi
Hi,
Is it possible to use this program for more us-only services like Pandora / hulu etc..?
Thanks
Yes you can try it with Pandora last.fm and hulu which are reported to work also...
try it yourself
