You should be able to , just make sure you wipe cache and dalvik then install rom

Odex = faster boots, more storage, less RAM.
Flashing over would be fine but the oxed-Ness would work better after full wipe.

Thank you, still working on them LOL, Doing GB with sense 2.1 on that also.
Plus working on some ports for the shift now that we have a kernel to work with.

I hope you'll be able to add the unlocked 3G USB tethering & Sprint Hotspot and 4 in 1 menu w/hibernation feature as you had in the NFX-Shift.Odex.STOCK.V.2.0 ROM as the unlockedSprint Hotspot feature doesn't work in this ROM. Overall nfinitefx45, great job with this ROM as well as the last one!

i noticed the extra four skins are gone, rEVOlution, matted blues, safari HD, as well as nonsense.. is there ANY way to get those onto here from the original leak? i tried using titanium

They are not part of the leak, they where added. This is completely stock

[Tweak] Juwes RAM script

Came across this tweak and thought I would share it.
I take no credit, other than pushing it to my phone to make sure it was compatible.
For this to work you must be running a kernel that supports init.d (Bali)
Follow directions on the link (I used method 2) Not sure about the flashable version
After pushing the file, reboot into CWM clear cache,dalvik, and fix permissions.. Reboot let sit about 10 minutes to rebuild dalvik, and reboot one last time..

I had to. But a reboot may also... follow directions and you will notice the difference ...

I recently successfully installed Infused 2.1.0 after pulling my hair and running into weird issues along the way, like boot loops etc (learning... slowly).
I love to tweak things and ran across this GB tweak here:

The dumb question part is how the heck do I "flash" that into my device? I was thinking that I need to go into CWM recovery thingy with the red letters during post and I remember seeing an option to install a .zip. Now I was either thinking that or either I need to use SGS Kernel to flash it?

Thanks for the reply.
I tried that one at first and my phone kept booting in a loop. I don't know if it was because I was using ES FileExplorer or what. I made sure I had that mount r/w done too, replaced the files, rebooted and boom... sadness.

Stock with that CWM kernel from the Infused post, you think overclocking it to 1.6Ghz 24/7 is fine using infusion?
And another dumb Q while you here (lol) but I can safely use different kernels (as long as they're made for the device) and re-flash via SGS?

Yes I use infusion bedwa and gtg together is great. This phone ocd is a beast.and yes use kernel flasher, and make sure it works with our stuff. You can pm me if you need to

i have the kernel lol just didnt get a chance to do it (didnt have access to lin box at the time for the kernel) ill up a rooted /voodoo kj1 kernel in a bit
so u can flash that over whats there
but its running fine atm on ki3 kernel from pervious build ill have the kj1 kernel up in awhile nom nom nom food

updateing rom with kj1 voodoo kernel if u already running it just flash honks kernel ur fine

[Q] How can I boot multiple roms?

Hi, I want to know how to boot more than one rom using Boot Manager... i've tried to do it numerous times but each time I just get frozen on my carrier logo on reboot. What partitions do i need setup? I'm a bit of a noob so if it's really complicated can you simplify it. Thanks in advance.

I've had no luck either... Tried it on about 5 different ROMs, but never works! Have you tried formatting your memory card?

I will tell you if it works in about two hours.. i've just gotta wait a bit as i'm backing up my almost full 32gb sdcard...

You can't due to RAM and kernel you can't take too much and phone only support one kernel

Are you sure?
Boot manager app has given official support for our device. And I have seen proof of it working - on youtube on a Desire S booting CM7 & MIUI.
Also bootmanager cleverly overrights the kernel with the new boot.IMG each time you flash.

Well the app allows you to change the boot.img before you boot into a different ROM. So it should still work

It says its incompatible with my device...!!!:crying::crying::crying:

Today I got it to work with Virtuous Infinity + ViperSaga and now using Virtuous + CM10.
I had to S-OFF with ENG HBOOT! Setup 2 Rom's, make a Nandroid and then choose in Boot Manager Install Zip -> Restore Nandroid, not install from Zip.
Works like charm for me. (=
