I found this site selling unlock codes for $3.
unlockg2x .com
[I can't post links, since I'm a new member]
Anyone familiar with the site? Just wanted to check if it's a scam or not
Thanks

You already posted this question in another thread. You should not post the same question more than one time in one thread. It makes people think you are a shill trying to send traffic to the site in question, expecially since you are a brand new member.

Sorry about it. I felt like hijacking someone elses thread, so I posted it here.
Let me see if I can delete the other post.

It wasn't hijacking a thread as the thread was about unlocked devices. Better to ask a mod to delete this thread in its entirety. Your question has already been answered in the other thread.

This should be in the Q&A section. Ask your question there. Thank you.
What I thought was, I'd become one of those deaf-mutes; or should I?

Don't even ask there. He needs to search and read. Actually, in this case, he just needs to read. As of 2 PM on Sunday, Aug 20, the answer to his question is TWO THREADS below his on the development forums. It's on the first damn page of the forum.
Edit: It's also a sticky post at the top of Q&A.
Closed for obvious reasons.
Hi, writing with my new huawai. ascend g300 and opera mobile...
And I would really like to know, if there are any plans to implement a huawai section? Because their big enough allready.
Also other asian smartphone suppliers are getting bigger and deserve a seperated section here on xda.

If you post in the right section and thread, you might get an answer.

It is true, you need 10 posts before you can post into development. The 10 post restrictions are there to protect the development threads from all kinds of spam and to give people a chance to get used to xda. The 10 post rule is not meant to make you feel bad about being new to xda, it is meant to protect the Development threads, which are the most important parts of xda. It should not take you that long to get your 10 posts while you familiarize yourself with xda. Here is a useful guides to help you: 10 post guide:

and this one that coolsandie pointed out is awesome as well: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699450
Yes, it is so awesome that I needed to point it out again .

My girlfriend owns this phone and uses it on T-Mobile network. If I were to root and install custom ROM will it lock the phone and it no longer be unlocked?
From someone who has had their share of public humiliation from moderators (not necessarily here)... you may want to check out the second post in this forum. Just read the title.

You can reply to threads in the Development forums, but you cannot create a new thread in the Development forums until you have 50 posts.
Did you try to reply to a thread, or post a new one? Which subforum forum was it?
50 post? Wooow greats XDA ?
