Sim network unlock for Motorola Backflip - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

I don't know if I am putting this in the right place but I have a motorola backflip (temp phone, using a samsung infuse now) and I am wondering how can I unlock it so it can be used with another network? Like T-Mobile because I really want to give it to a friend of mine who is in need of a cell phone but she is on T-Mobile. My Backflip is rooted, and running cyanogen mod 7.1... so with all that done im wondering what can I flash to the device to allow it to work with a T-Mobile sim card?

[Req] A list of Metro Pcs capable Android phones

I know I've seen the G1, Epic, and Hero used on the network but didn't know if the data is usable. So I want to know what phones can be used on Metro Pcs fully.

Is there any one using metro with a good android phone?

Most CDMA phones [Sprint, Not sure about Verizon] can work with MetroPCS. Only problem is, no internet, no picture messaging. If you can deal without that, I suggest getting unlocked Sprint Android Phone and flashing it to Metro.

Need help getting my xperia play to work on the t-mobile network...

I recently purchased a sony ericsson xperia R800x from a friend. I replaced the flex cable to get the phone working. This phone was released on the verizon network. My friend paid to have it unlocked and set up on the cricket network. It is rooted and I found that there was a slot for a sim card. I called sony to get help getting the phone to recognize the t-mobile network, but the tech just kept insisting that the R800x couldn't even hold a sim card. I have some experience flashing roms on the galaxy s t959, so I'm not afraid to do this, I just need some assistance finding a good rom, kernel, and flashing software like odin or something.

I think verizon phones are cdma only

I know this phone is set up for cdma, but the fact that it holds a sim makes me think that it might be able to be programmed to work both ways. I was hoping there might be a rom from a similar model phone that could be ported to work on this one.

[Q]carrier unlock

Hi I'm looking to find a way to carrier unlock my mothers droid ultra (Verizon) she's looking to switch to straight talk is there a way for me to do it without paying a company to send me the unlock code? If not does anyone have experience with going from vzw to st with an non unlocked device?

afaik, its already unlocked and I have seen here saying its working on T-Mob Nano SIM without an issue (2G and reframed 3G, but NO LTE). But I am NOT from US, so some other members can be more accurate than me...

Hey.. I was using mine on straight talk. Now I'm using it with cricket and still works fine. I get H+ most of the time but sometimes and in certain places I get LTE.
No unlock code needed. And I have the latest update. Not rooted or anything. 100% stock.
