[Q] How to root the HTC Sensation Non T-Mobile Version - HTC Sensation

I was just wondering if the same root process will work on the unlocked gsm version of the Sensation(non Tmo)? I don't want to brick my awesome new device.
Thanks!

It's the same method, it is not carrier specific.

All right sweet thanks

[Q] htc evo

Ok im new here and need some help
On how to root or unlock my htc evo
the evo 4g from sprint is a CDMA phone only. sim-unlocking it will not let you use it on GSM networks,as it has no GSM radios. the code unlock mentioned above will likely not work. the sim in the evo is for 4g only, and may allready be unlocked, for what thats worth.
if your phone has allready upgraded to 2.3.4,then you will need to downgrade to a rootable froyo. if your hboot is still s-on,then the process will be more difficult, but still possible.
google is a good tool-quick search brought up this:

looks like revolutionary also supports evo 4g(this the method id reccomend): http://revolutionary.io/

[Q] HTC Sensation on Vodafone

Hi all, I am a complete Android noob and am looks for some answers.
I currently own a HTC Sensation Z710e that came with my contract on Vodafone and I am intrested in performing the whole S-Off and root thing, my question is though since I seen on the HTC Dev site that there is an EU version and a Vodafone version of the Sensation, I wanted to know if rooting on my phone would work and would I be able to install standard Senstation custom ROM's, would they install just fine or would there be issues with things such as calling or texting people? Would I need to change the radio settings around or something, if so how?
I just used the htc dev site just to see about how it works and I am probably going to use revolutionary.
I am running Android 2.3.4
You can tell I am not yet fully experienced when it comes to Android, so could I have some general tips and guidelines when it comes to modding my Sensation please.
Thanks for the help!
Yes when you root it and S off you can use any compatable rom - also unlcok the Sensation for free as well.
My phone came from Orange - S off CoreDroid for me and unlocked its
Marvellous sorry Sensational, now on Virgin
If you can read and follow instructions it's easy.
Use the guide here

Restrore HTC One M8 to stock - PLEASE HELP

Straight to the point. I have an HTC One M8 (Verizon) and it currently is running Android 6.0 with sense 7.0 / S-On / NON ROOTED
I wish to get rid of ALL Verizon Bloatware and stupid apps that come installed with it. And install the android marshmallow ROM that would come stock on a NON BRANDED M8
Could somebody please reply with a STEP BY STEP easy to follow set of instructions on what I need to do to achieve this.
like using Sunshine to get s-off and rooted. And links to an Official ROM and all that stuff.
And a question. . . . .Will my NON-VERIZON SIM still work after such a procedure? and will mobile data work (without configuring the GSM settings, which I had to do when I first got it)?
I am in New Zealand if that affects anything.
If somebody is willing to help me out I will be most thankful
LOL they're gonna just tell you to search and do some reading since everything you need is already on here.

First you need to S-Off your phone. Read info here:

And yes, everything already here, just use search.
