I installed Miui 1.9.30 on my infuse 4g and have been notified by the updater that a new update is available but when i open the updater it says that i have the latest version even though i know the 1.10.7 came out. I am new to Miui so please help!!
uhm....u maybe able to download them. i have had issues using it though. Connection issues to even start downloading.
We don't officially have miui u can't download the update you have trouble flash it every week

So far all is well. I don't wanna be reasonable for you messing up your phone so do at your own risk.
Using titanium back up I un installed system updater 1.0.0. Its been a couple hours and i haven't received a single pop up telling me there's an update. So far the only downside I see is when you goto menu> settings> about phone there isn't a system update tab anymore. This I can not update my software, profile, prl, android manually.
I suggest you make a back up of your current set up before doing so put freezing it in titanium backup premium

Is there a otacerts.xml you can rename? That stopped it on the hero....can't remember the directory it was in.maybe in /etc

im still playing around to find the fix for people that aint running a di18 rom like my self. im running the di18modem and the mix kernel based on di18. im tired of seeing the ota pop up and my current rom hasnt been updated to di18 yet
um why would you want to stop the ota notification? just upgrade.

im fully upgraded except for a di18 rom. im happy with my rom and will be waiting for an updated version of it that is based on the di18 update

I just got my Nexus S from UK this week and i can see there is a few around that got android 2.3.3. So my question i am still on 2.3.1 and can't get any updates on the updater on the phone so is there something wrong or is it just a slow process to get the updates out?
I had the same issue but I manually updated using info on here. Search for it and you'll find it no probs.

Hey everyone.
I know a lot of us installed the apk for the new market. I recently uninstalled mine as it had some bugs and I was thinking I would be upgraded to the latest once I did so (by push).
However, nothing! I'm on the old market. I'm on Vodafone UK - are others on Voda still waiting for an update or did I miss the boat by manually installing the apk?

I've been using the older version for a while now but cannot update since official thread is locked and the link on there has not been working for me for some reason. Comes out as. Zip.zip format. And I keep getting an error messenger when I try to flash it. Something I found out has to do with it just being a bad zip. Anyone have a clean one that works?

so I followed all the steps and it's still not working for me. coming from illuminance rom (latest version)
but I really wanna try it.
Worked for me....when it doesn't boot the first time...3 button back to recovery...it should be blue...reflash without wiping and reboot...should be good to go...I came from illuminance also

It is a fix of the update. The update was not installing.
It is not an update, so to speak.
anyone have a link to the 1.11.04 build... i use a custom email apk from here http://miui-germany.de/forum2/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=2325 but he switched phones and hasnt made one for the 1.11.11 build.. unless anyone knows how or where to get one.

The lastest one for the Infuse is 1.11.11. The guy who was porting the new updates for the Infuse every week is not doing it anymore, so no updates for the Infuse beyond 1.11.11.

This is the latest Sprint OTA Visual Voicemail that is flashable via recovery on AOSP roms for root users only. This will work if you do not want to use Google Voice or YouMail for your voicemails. I have tested it on CyanogenMod Nightly #255 and it works great for me.
There is one thing that you need to do after flashing the updated.zip, or if you already have another version of Visual Voicemail installed just install the lastest vnotes app from your sdcard using the file manager of your choice, (apparently does not work if you push vnotes to /system/app with adb or flashing it in a zip in recovery)
All of these apps are pulled from my own RUU rom that is modded for root users.
I will continue to update these as new updates arrive.

Sparkso, VVM has been updated to 5.2....heres the apk...i was sure i had updated my own post with this, but here it is, you can push it to your zip if you like
theres now an option to move vm to the sd card
The only way that I could get it working was by using TB to restore the new v. from my sense nand. Maybe you can get it working thru the zip?

I just updated my VVM through my stock RUU rom last night but maybe it needs to be updated again. I pulled the latest vnotes and voicemail app unless I pulled the wrong VVM.apk if there was another one on data partition that I didn't notice. I restore and check it out though and report back.
ok so I pulled vnotes.apk from the zip and posted it as a separate attachment and redid the .zip to flash the visual voicemail app. However if you already have a older version just install the newest vnotes.apk from the sdcard using a file manager.

yea, i recall having to take a mandatory update of the vvm after loading a stock 2.2, but i loaded SS a few days back and there was OTA for vvm for 5.2...glad theres a zip version installation now. thanks
I'm have the stock 2.3.3 unrooted RUU with s-off and CWM based recovery with the htc security patch installed.

More than likely this not working on android 4 is because this is a system app. Once htc and sprint make a update for the evo or this phone we'll be able to use newer versions of the app that will work and be compatible on android 4.

can I flash this zip to get my Voicemail v5_2_0_24 working? or is there another zip for that? please let me know ASAP otherwise I hear the only other option is to revert back to my stock rom then update, backup with TB and restore to Synergy....

if you really need to know that bad. Make a backup first then flash and see if it works. If it doesn't, well you got a backup to go to
I don't run Synergy rom personaly...I just posted this thread for for aosp roms (not sense) because "most" sense roms already include visual voicemail...But your more then welcome to try it out and let us know.

Hm... no luck so far I have tried everything .... the New VM works fine on Sprint lovers so i try backing up with TB and restoring using Synergy but still no luck... must be something with synergy I even tried the APK and ZIP on here and nothing... I have posted my findings on Synergy's forum maybe someone else will give it a shot, I've spent 2 days straight trying but oh well... I will stick to the older 5.1 version till someone knows how. Thanks.

First off I noticed your posting on the Evo 4G forums Synergy...This is the Evo Shift 4G which is a completely different phone. If you have a Evo Shift then post on the Synergy thread in this forum and not Evo 4G...If you don't have a Evo Shift you probably shouldn't be posting here lol.
