US Cellular TP2 on At&t

Hi, i currently have a touch pro 2 from us cellular running on the at&t network. but i have some issues with the phone and i was looking for help. when charging the phone it turns off and it takes forever to charge. also there are times when calls cant be received. if anyone has experienced these issues or can provide any help. it would be greatly appreciated

Which ROM are you using?

how did you get it to run on the ATT network. Is it the USA Network? I have a USCellular network. and dont know how to go about using a USA Sim Card.

[Q] Mango B2 Can't Connect to Ad Hoc

I am stuck using wifi tethering on my trusty TP2 for my laptop and just tried connecting my HTC 7 Pro to the wifi and it doesn't even show up. I never tried this on NoDo, can anyone else confirm this doesn't work? If so this needs to be fixed.
Sidenote: I remember reading that Microsoft hasn't included tethering yet because carriers don't like it. However, I think this is mostly restricted to US carriers because in Europe I've never heard such things. Give us built in tethering!

3G/UTMS not working - Could it be hardware?

Hi,
I have a Samsung Nexus S on Orange UK. I have noticed recently that I am not connecting on 3G and only GPRS.
I thought it may have been down to the ROM so I restored the stock firmware but that still doesn't work. Going to the testing menu (*#*#3646#*#*) confirms its on GPRS and if I set it to WCDMA Only, it attempts to connect and then says disconnected.
I have checked the SIM in a USB Dongle and it works fine so I don't think its reception or sim card related.
Is there any way to debug this on the phone? Could it be hardware (does GPRS use the same hardware or are they seperate radio chips).

Did you try to use a different radio? Sometime it is radio problem.

I bought mine on contract through cpw in December on a vodafone contract but not branded and it's unlocked and have no issues regarding this. All gsm phones are compatible with the UK networks (I think) so probably not a hardware problem. U should try another network Sim in your phone and see how that behaves.
If u don't get 3g then contact orange maybe it's their fault. Or could be you're not in a 3g area.

Thanks for the replies.
The phone used to work on 3G - The SIM has not changed and putting the SIM in a Data dongle confirms its working so not a network issue or reception.
I have tried various radios just in case it was that, but again still no 3G.
I have tried everything I can think of which is why I was thinking it was possibly a hardware fault with the phone?
Mine was through CPW unlocked, which radio are you using leerobson99?

Xxkf1 just updated to 2.3.6 today, stock unrooted.

sprint has been having a lot of issues with there 3g lately. mine has been intermitten the past few days and finally came back today
Edit: just realized you aren't on sprint.
still could be your service provider though rather than the actual phone.

no wifi channel 12/13?

Hi,
I have been using channel 13 on my wifi and winphone for almost a year i just updated to os 7740 bootloader 5.1 on my htc pro 7 and noticed after about 2hours of trial and error that it no longer picks up channels 12 or 13.. is this normal behaviour as it use to pick it up previously. infact it was picking it up after the update untill i enabled internet sharing after i disable it and the wifi restored my network disappeared..

I think I've the same issue like you with my HTC HD7. If I wanna connect to my WLAN (channel 13) my phone wont connect. After change to "1-11" everything is fine.
I've no idea why... :-(

I've done abit of research on other devices and im seems these channels are illegal in the USA so I think that is why we can't use them what I dont understand is why it worked fine on everything below the 7740 update and why it dosnt realise where not in the USA. I've ended up switching to channel 1..

5G still not working

So I have a Nord and I have a sky sim. It runs on the O2 network. I've never been able to get it to run on 5G. does someone know how I can because while its not an urgent feature. I would like to get it working. I thought with android 11 they would have fixed it but they didn't.

Is the sim account 5G as I know EE charge more.. 5G on three is utter pants doesn't work in the square mile in London hardly at all.. Stratford in there store only WiFi work's even though they claim 5G does. It could also be just weak area where you live anyone have you asked customer services if there is 5G and if Sky sim you have work's with it

My Account does have 5G and my Brother has a oneplus 8 Pro and 5G works perfectly on that but my nord does not connect to the 5G network. even when I force it to in the *#*'4636#*#* settings. Leeds has 5G in it and its pretty decent. And it shows 5G is accessible in the settings but it won't connect. Sky Mobile runs on the O2 network and I know people have had issues with it but its been sorted with an update. There has not been any update fixing this unfortunately. so I'm asking the people of XDA if they can help

I know this is the slowest 5G phone as the ariel on the Nord is pants Gadget show done a test same area 4 different phone's Nord was 40Mb slower on a broadband connection test in different locations.. But trust me when I say 5G no better in the UK at present yet. Hope you get it sorted..
