[Q] MIUI Infuse Airplane mode not turning off. - Samsung Infuse 4G

I have the most recent version of MIUI for Infuse. I have correctly flashed it and everything works great. However recently Airplane mode can not be turned off. No matter what I try the only way to get it to turn off is by reboot, and if I leave it in sleep mode airplane mode turns on and stays that way. Is there a fix for this?

Yeah same here. Can not figure out what to do. I have tried several available modems and they all seem to do it. I have tried UCKD5, UCKE3, UCKJ1, UCKJ2, UCKJ4 and UXKG3 and they all seem to have the same problem. HELP

Any solution to this? Thanks!

i have the same issue. it seems that the toggle doesnt really work through the settings. restarting the phone as of now is the only way to turn it off. unfortunately for me sometimes its on for a long period of time before i noticed that its on, and i end up missing calls/texts

[Q] Syndicate Frozen 1.1.0 Wifi Issue?

Ever since installing this rom i've been unable to use my WIFI.
How can i fix this, when i click it all it does is time out and never kicks in.
My WiFi has been a little flaky, especially if I've turned it on and off several times during the day, but usually a quick airplane mode toggle will bring it back.
Have you tried turning it on immediately after a fresh boot?

Sense ROMs are screwy with display settings

This isnt an issue with just one particular Sense ROM, but i found it to be so with most... if not all, possibly. If you use the AUTO setting, then this does not apply. Whats happening for instance, at night i like to turn the brightness all the way down. It stays that way until the screen goes off. Once you turn it back on again, the screen is bright... again, and it shows that its set all the way down so to fix you have to turn it up, then back down again. Then the process repeats all over again. Im not sure whats going on and obviously since i try different ROMs regularly(and do full wipes), its not a matter of a bad install. I wonder if this is a verified known issue and is being looked into.

A simple solution to the wifi issues in ICS roms

So this is a nontehnical solution to fix your wifi troubles. While your phone is on, turn the wifi off and then reboot the phone. When the phone comes back the wifi will still be off but you will be able to switch it on and off. If you reboot the phone with your wifi on, then your wifi issues will come back when you turn the phone off. I've used this technique for the last two days on AOKP v2 but if all of the ICS roms are using the same kernel then this should work in every rom.

Unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce this result. This method works for me and is reliable and I'm sure it can help others as well. I've tried turning the auto sync on and off and that did not help either.
I noticed that if it gets "STUCK" turning it on or off, if you wait long enough in the actual wifi settings not the notification bar or in the initial wifi settings (where it lists the available networks) you will see that the top button will eventually be able to be used. I am talking like a few minutes. Of course it would probably be quicker to restart the phone.

Which is why rebooting the phone with the wifi turned off is the simple solution for me.

[Q] - Random Wifi Shut-Offs And Problem Turning Back On

One day my skyrocket started acting up. I have the AT&T version. what happens is The wifi could be working perfectly fine then when i let it sleep and then wake it the wifi is on and sometimes turns right back on and connects and other times it won't turn on, even when I try to manually. I've tried going back to pure stock, ICS Stock, and tried custom roms and it's all the same. Sometimes on first boot the wifi won't even turn on. Then sometimes when I'm out of wifi Range I turn it off and when I come back and try to switch it on it says "Wifi turning on.." then the toggle goes back to off but it still says that. Sometimes when the phone is in use, screen on, I could be browsing the web or on facebook and it shuts off and won't come back on. This has nothing to do with the Power Saving mode, I never touched that setting and I checked and it's set to "Always." So what could it be? It gets extremely frustrating. someone please help me :l
I searched the forums before I posted, I know this may fall into the development category but I couldn't post there..

when you say pure stock, do you mean you odin'ed back to stock? i'm no expert but if you've had the same issues on pure stock rom, custom roms it sounds as though it may be a hardware issue.

Well yes odin'd back, & also used kies through download/recovery mode. well the custom roms it does it on are all stock based... well I had installed MIUI but idk If it had done it on there. this issue is very frustrating..
i realized last night that the bluetooth does it too, so if it's a hardware problem does that mean the motherboard could be bad, not the actual components?

[Q] Permanently stuck in Ultra Stamina Mode

Well after this critical update my phone has gone to sh*t, besides numerous bugs, like crashing and freezing (which already happened before), I've had this phone since January and I've never had so many problems with a phone in my life. This is the biggest nerf I've ever seen, I loaded ultra stamina mode then my phone would not unload when it was turned off, permanently stuck in safe mode, can't use 95% of my apps, still runs internet fine, still drains retarded battery power, just no use of apps, no background, no nothing, I'd hate to have to reset my phone because Sony has no idea to make proper software for their phones before forcing you to update it, this pisses me off, I want a new phone, it's 4 months and I want this piece of sh.

Disable Ultra Stamina Mode
Thanks, Mr. Obvious, it does not solve the problem because it is permanently on, turning it off does nothing it stays on, I can Turn on regular stamina mode, but it's still on Ultra stamina mode, it makes no sense, it will reset my phone if I try to turn on ultra stamina mode, and nothing happens, I've reset my phone, rebooted, tried turning them on a thousand times, does nothing, most apps don't work, or force close themselves.
This is in standbg standby mode, no background, no apps, nothing, all I get ia bare essentials and none of them work, they force close, and my effing keyboard keeps repeating words as well.
lol ranting just because you dont know how to solve the problem yourself? bashing a company just because youre the only person having this issue? buddy, smarten up and search around, repair it with sony pc companion, flash another region's FTF file... there are so much you can do, so stop wasting your time and get going. and if youre one of those lame trolls just to bash Sony, im sorry bud, go troll elsewhere, XDA isnt a place for you to whine. pce!
and FYI, "reset" isnt the same as "repair."
PS: use a better tone on XDA, this isn't a way to ask for help, especially for those who are lending you a hand.
