hey i just did this (a google search for ruu file for evo gingerbread.) I download the root for 2.3.3 and did this a im back to normal
Has anybody tried the EH26 gingerbread root after installing the EF02/12 root? I just want to know if it breaks the phone. Thanks
Hey I just got the Inspire HD and i wanted to root the phone. I found a Ace Hack Kit and i was going to root it with that. Link(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=952352). However i found this ROM and i wasnt sure if this would root the phone as well? Link(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840040).
I want to know if I can root the phone with Ace Hack Kit and then flash the phone with the Android Revolution HD ROM.

I need another option for rooting an HTC inspire 4G running Android 2.3.5
I've tried ACE (option 1 and option o), Fromaroot (multiple versions), Pete's Motorola Root Tool and still cant root the phone. It appears this version 2.3.5 is just tricking and I can't find a vunerability. I want to upgrade the ROM to another more current version as 2.3.5 currently does not support some apps on the market I'd like to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
