I'm sorry to hear this coz I have lung cancer that also spread to my brain. The lung cancer was diagnosed in Dec. 05, and the brain tumor in Apr. 07. Radiation and chemo treated the lung cancer, and the brain tumor was removed surgicallly with radiation that followed. According to recent CTs and MRIs results, things looked fine... I wish meschle's father all the best. We both will fight this and be the victor!
My thoughts are with you meschle and my prayers for your father and hotdog53. I wish you both speedy recovery and I know you will make it out of this.
I hope he get well soon.

Entry #6 (Joshua Nast)!!!!!!
Thank You!
I recently activated a donations button after a few weeks of going back and forth. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that, but I'll be very honest that I wouldn't mind grabbing a "dev" unit if I can find one on the cheap, in the Outlet. Having two active mods is definitely tough with one device. So I figured every little bit would help.
I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who's donated, already. I am humbled and flattered and amazed at the generosity here and I really appreciate it. I think even my wife is amazed to the point that she might not bug me as much for being a "tech widow", as she likes to put it.
Just donated! Thanks for all your hard work. I'm loving the VEGAn rom!
Me too. Many thanks, Roebeet.
Thanks to you both!!!
Donated. You are the reason why I got this gadget to begin with...
Merry Xmas dude...
Sent a little monetary love your way as well. Looking forward to what you can do once we get the source from Viewsonic!

Hey your wife gives you crap because you are uploading your stuff, my wife gives crap because I'm downloading your stuff. It's all good...
My way of saying thanks.
You have been doing a wonderful job with your 2 mods. Both are the reason for getting a G Tab in the first place. Many, Many Thanks.

Came home from work and saw this post, FINALLY!
Donated. THANKS.
Gracias a ti roebeet. Feliz Navidad!
OMG I'm having flashbacks of "It's a Wonderful Life", except that Mr. Potter is Tap N' Tap Inc., and the everyone's sending Hee Haw telegrams over a series of tubes.
You guys do such a fantastic job, it should be us thanking you. Thank you for everything.

It's all well deserved Roeb. Just sent a thank you your way as well!

Sent some money your way. I am enjoying my GTab because of all the time you put into making the device worth keeping.
Keep up the good work.
Happy Holidays
James
Merry Christmas! And thank you!
Donated too. I'm just reviving my skills as an old skool linux and java developer and hacking away at the Gtab is just what I needed to both get into the Andorid platform, while having fun at same time!! Thanks Roebeet for all the hard work and thank your wife for being the longsuffering "tech widow".
BTW: Also ordering the dock to get the pinouts to build a better docking station (HDMI + built in USB hub) -- so looking forward to giving back a little in the near future!
Hey guys, this site and the users that are on it have brought me a long way in phone modding.
I would have had some expensive paper-weights if it weren't for you guys being so generous and unselfish.
I just wanna say you guys are awesome, and I took two hours going through the list of people who've helped me to click your thank you button, but you deserve much more
Thanks again,
Rodpgfx :victory:
I too would like to add my thanks to the XDA community! I am now free from the Matrix (the iPhone) and love my new found power!

Thanks are good and appreciated, but it is probably best to thank the individuals that helped you, rather than opening a general thanks you thread.
Sorry...thread closed.
I decided to type out a thank you letter to a good friend and a very helpful guru named lj50036
I am sure some/most of you know this person, he is one of the people who helped develop CMB ROM for Asus TF700
The very first time I got my Asus TF700 I was having issues with rooting and flashing it, so I posted a thread on here asking for help and in
little to no time I got a notification and it was lj50036 asking if I needed any help just to send him an e-mail through g-mail, which I did.
Not only did he help me flash and root my tablet but also went through step by step process in helping me! It was genius!
After a month I ended up bricking my tablet! It was frustrating because I use it for school and since I didn't like using a laptop
and loved my Android so much! I decided to post a thread even though it felt hopeless! In just about 10mins I received a notification
regarding my bricked tablet, yup! It was him! lj50036.
Not only did he help BUT! He called from Iowa to Toronto where I live just to help me step by step on unbricking my tablet!
I don't think I have ever met a person online who was this dedicated and humbly patient to help! He is an awesome person folks!
Very kind and generous! This is a huge huge huge huge!!! Thank you to lj50036.
If you guys ever need any Asus tablet related help he is your number one help! In return guys! Please leave him a kind feedback!
Even better! A donation towards his help would be just beautiful! Even though he told me the only thing he wants back from the people is just a kind thank you and feedback! But still! I feel like donating show's your true kind of appreciation!
Remember guys we're all android fans here! Not only that! We're also all friends to one on another.
It was thanks to XDA-Developers for bringing us here and a little bit closer together as humans <- lj50036 taught me that!
So to conclude this! I would like to say thank you thank you thank you!! lj50036 A.k.a Joshua Lynch for patiently guiding me and showing me the way!
For anybody who wants an awesome ROM for their TF700! Please check out this thread here!

For anybody wanting to chat about anything Asus tablet related! Check out lj50036 here!

+1:good: Good post..
Thanks Lynch for taking your time helping us....
WOW
IM SPEECHLESS
OP is right, I'm also amazed when I see people caring and helping with great motivation on this forum. I read a lot of things here and it feels good to see there are passionate people always ready to help others enhance their knowledge. So here's my "thanks" post! Keep up the great work everybody! :highfive:
Thank you, lj50036 !
I initially thought I had bricked my TF700t. Then I found his email address on the Crombi KK thread and decided to shoot him an email to ask for help.
Within 10 minute I had his reply, and in 30 minutes (due mostly to me trying to set up the connection) he was (remotely) configuring my tablet. At first, I couldn't believe this guy's kindness. Then, I couldn't believe his skill.
He spent three hours (yep!) helping me out! He said he wanted nothing in return. He said he enjoyed helping people.
In the end, he made sure I understood well how I should do future installations.
All I can say is: this guy is one of a kind. Stay this way.
Constantin.
These kind of stories are exactly what this world we all live in now need more of and reading one here at xda developers puts a smile on my face. Good on you mate and you're a prime example of what we need more of. Cheers
