A2dp on cm7 - T-Mobile LG G2x

Hows everyone's experiences with Bluetooth on cm7 nightly 160.
Its working perfectly for my with wireless speakers, and file transfers between mac and this phone. Everyone should thank the cm crew.
Quick question, if I flash a different kernel, I will lose a2dp correct? Thanks in advance.

A2dp is working flawless here, i can honestly say that my phone feels complete now, i dont believe different kernel will break a2dp, i was on cm7/faux and now cm7/morfic latest and all is well.
Thank you cm_arcee and cm team.

So ur using faux and morfics with nightly 160 and your still getting a2dp? That's awesome. My phone feels complete now too. Don't forget nightly 160 is 2.3.7

Anyone else?

I've only tried Bluetooth audio in my car and only the stock music player was working. No other apps such as Youtube or Google Listen were working. Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon but even having stock audio player working is awesome
Oh and I'm on nightly 164 for what it's worth

Ohh wow that sucks. Thanks for ur input and is anyone else having this same problem?

Which nightly version are you on?

All apps work for me. Pandora, Google Music Beta, Hulu+, Netflix, etc. all work for me. I'm on nightly 161.

Fits kang from 10/10.

everything works fine on my end too.
I'm on CM7.1 Stable mod and stock kernel.

Is it me or does Bluetooth Audio for phone calls not work? I paired my Bluetooth headset and the audio was routing to the speaker instead of the headset. The Bluetooth toggle during phone calls acts as the speaker toggle.

I have this issue *only* when wifi calling is enabled. If I disable wifi calling, the audio goes through my bluetooth headset.

Is the issue from wifi calling then?
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium

Ah, interesting observation. I did have wifi calling on at that time.
Another thing: Is it me or do I only get SMS delivery reports when on wifi calling only? When I switch to the mobile network it's like I didn't even turn delivery reports.

Anyone having apn issues, did it get fixed with the latest nightlies? Because it is fixed now

I don't use SMS... I only use Google Voice for that since it's free. ;-)
It seems that wifi calling breaks many things on cyanogenmod that work on stock.
1) try to pull your account status with wifi calling enabled using my account.
2) Bluetooth doesn't work with wifi calling enabled
3) searching for apns from the settings menu is broken with wifi calling enabled.
I'm sure there is more... somehow cyanogenmod and wifi calling don't play nice and prevent the 2g/3g/4g networks from being accessed period.

BT audio on Cm7 nightlys

Hey there im running Cm7 (one of the 90's nightlys) on my G2x and i just got a new pioneer navigation system in my car. It has BT phone and audio and i can get both connected fine, however when the audio connects it never plays in the car. The music will be playing on the phone and when i turn up the volume it says "Bluetooth audio " but never actually plays. Do you think its a problem with my car deck, or the nightly im running? Does Cm7 even support BT audio? BTW i used both Google music and the stock music player and they bboth dont work.

Yup the douches at nvidia dont want to release drivers to make a2dp work.
Well damn that sucks...is there any way to get around it?
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
It's nvidia's fault that it doesnt work because they havent released the necessary drivers for it to work in custom roms.
The only way around it is to use a rom based on the official Froyo or Gingerbread (OTA) roms
Boooo...ok thanks guys

Apparently the Motorola Atrix has gotten BT Audio working and it has Tegra 2 if I'm not mistaken.

CM7 - Nightly Builds - Bluetooth Issue

Bluetooth - Call Waiting Beep
Bluetooth seems to work great, especially now with A2DP working properly... yet i do not hear a BEEP when someone else is calling over Bluetooth if i am on another call... if im not looking at my phone i miss the call. Anyone know if this is a known issue? or if there is a fix?
on top of that, I like it when the bluetooth plays the ringtone. That was the case on my old blackberry flip phone. Is this not a standard?

I'm running stock Froyo, and when using BT and on a call and another call comes in, I get a beep that sounds like a dtmf key press. It confused me the first couple times...
I've noticed that the beep actually comes through on Bluetooth... but on the handset itself? Any ideas?

Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
yes, I finally got it paired, however, it does not work...Bluetooth shows connected, but, I don't hear anything on headset and the person I call cannot hear me either.. I use a program called Grooveip along with Google voice.
Sent from my Xoom using xda premium
fechina, When making a call in GrooveIP is the Bluetooth option on bottom left enagled (green bar on button) and is the call screen blue? i use grooveip and love it. i had a problem with my bluetooth headset not working properly till i found i had the bluetooth option unchecked.

Bluetooth issues

So I have this problem. My bluetooth headset pairs up fine. It works great for a few connections, but for some reason I need to unpair and repair it how to get to connect to phone audio again. Any idea on why I am experiencing this problem??
Currently on beans ROM, but had issues on others... including my epic 4g..

How can I receive a bluetooth audio stream on my GS3?

I've got an Avantree Saturn bluetooth transceiver hooked up to my home stereo. When it's in Receive mode I can send audio from my GS3 to the stereo.
However, you can also Transmit audio from the Saturn. I want to send the audio from my home stereo by bluetooth to my GS3, so that I can listen with headphones on my GS3. I don't want to use a bluetooth headset. I want my GS3 to receive the bluetooth signal. This will be helpful when I want to listen to the TV (which is hooked up to the home stereo) silently on my GS3.
I can't figure out how to receive a bluetooth audio stream into my GS3. Can anyone help?
Bump
Have you tried putting the device in discovery mode and then have the GS3 do a scan for Bluetooth devices. If the phone finds the device during the scan, it should allow connection and then present whatever options are available when connecting to that device.

Does the s3 have the option of receiving audio streaming? I think only particular Bluetooth devices have that such as stereos

That's the question that I don't know the answer to. I'm suspecting that it can't, since there doesn't seem to be anyone doing it and there's no app to allow it. These posts and others suggest that it's not possible: http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...udio-from-pc-to-android-device-over-bluetooth
I guess that the apps that allow you to stream from a PC use wifi, not bluetooth.
If I had to guess. I would say No. It would be a nice feature. But I don't think our cellphones are designed for receiving audio through Bluetooth!
