since the 3.2.1 update ive noticed my gmail is not syncing like it used to, if i delete any emails, after refreshing they are now back in my inbox and unread, if i try and sed an email it just sits in the outbox saying sending for dayyyys, it never ever sends any of my emails anymore. wtf? anybody else having these or similar problems? any fixes anybody knows of?

This is really going to get me in trouble at some point, I can just tell...
More than a few times in the past few weeks, I've sent a simple SMS message, only to get a call from the recipient saying something like "Dude, what the heck was all that about?" - because after my text in the message, it has inserted text from a WORK email in my outlook account! Usually these are deleted emails no less - and by deleted I mean not even in the deleted items folder.
I've got 3 email accounts set up on my phone. Two are pop accounts that get auto checked every two hours. The one that keeps getting it's emails attached to texts is the "Outlook Email" account, which is "governed" by a program called NotifyLink, which syncs my work emails to my phone across the GPRS network. It's the only way my work will allow mail sync to my phone. It seems to always be this account that the text messages "attach" from...
I've been aware of my cemail.vol file being filled with garbage for awhile now, evidenced by the fact that it's currently 1.26M, and anytime I delete emails (even a TON of them), it does not decrease in size. And yes, I'm also emptying the deleted items folder. But, I don't want to do the fresh cemail.vol trick, becasue I don't want to lose my emails and SMS, and because the one time I DID try it (thankfully having backed up cemail.vol beforehand), it erased my MMS account entirely. I only had Outlook Email and SMS.
So, and sorry for being so long, has anybody else experienced this, or does anybody have any ideas on what's happening and how to STOP it?
Sooner or later I just know it's going to attach a sensitive email in a text to exactly the wrong person...gulp...
Please help, all suggestions/observations/thoughts welcome!!

Is anyone else having the problem with gmail and sending/ syncing the inbox? it just says "sending... " and never sends. Then I go and go through all my email on my phone and delete things and then when I go on the computer a half hour sometimes 3-4 hours later all my mail is unread and just like I never read anything.
Does anyone have any suggestions or another app that I could use besides the web app.

Yes, have had the same problems too. Not sure what the resolution is.
From what I've experienced, if you don't have auto-sync turned on, then you have to hit the menu button and hit refresh to manually send/receive again.
I have that checked, cannot add specifically "Gmail". My Gmail Contacts and Cal. are all being synced. Gmail will recieve messages but will not sync them with the gmail server after I delete/archive stuff.

Is anyone else having problems with Exchange email sync? I am having several emails come down with correct headers but mismatched messages. It only happens on some messages, unfortunately I have not figured out a pattern to it yet.
Although I've not encountered your issues, I've encountered a few emails that attachments won't show up.
In case anyone else had the same issue; deleting and recreating my Exchange account appears to have fixed the problems I saw.
I am having problems with the email set up. It sets up OK but does not download emails from the inbox. It downloads sometimes on an irregular basis. There seems to be no problem in sending emails.The email is a pop3 account. Is anyone else having problems??

I'm having a very irritating problem and was hoping someone could help.
I am running stock ICS on my skyrocket, and I have my gmail account set up as exchange in the stock mail app. I can generally send/receive just fine, however I have one friend who 50% of the time seems to receive my email responses to her emails as blank. When I look at them in my sent folder of gmail on my computer, they show up as blank there as well, making this massively irritating since I then have to re-type the entire message.
Any idea what's causing this? I actually was having the same problem emailing her on my Nexus 7 as well from the stock email set up in the same fashion as my phone. And she does not have this problem with anyone else.
