I like the new version a lot! Text input is now very easy to handle..

Update 1.9:

App works great. Why does it need internet access, phone state, sd card read write?
Very easy to input text, nice and clean app. Can we have multiple reminders ?
Props. Love it. How do I get it ad free is the question?

I'm assuming it needs Internet access for the ads, but I'm also curious about the other permissions. Maybe SD access to allow it to be moved to the SD card, though that shouldn't be a need for such a small app...
this is such a useful tool. been wanting something like it for a while. thanks man!
Now that is a good apk. Cheers buddy!

On ICS you can swype away other notifications (like "App XYP installed") i would be really, really cool if you could do it with this notifications as well!

And some moto devices allow you to tap to get rid of individual notifications.

What theme is that and where did you get it? I like it.
Hi everyone! Im the developer of Moogly, a simple but useful todo list widget that started as a project for Honeycomb. The pr is after the break.
There have been reports that it doesnt work properly on some devices! If someone could be so kind as to try the Lite version and if it doesnt stretch properly, send me some screenshots and log files!
You can also post issues at the main thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1202211
Thanks in advance!

MOOGLY
A simple but powerful to do list widget designed to be customized. Now with auto-hiding buttons!
Features:
★ Multiple independent, scrollable widgets
★ Quick, dialog based entry
★ Tick to delete or mark complete
★ Widgets are optimized for Honeycomb
★ Predefined themes or total customization
★ RTL support
★ Custom image backgrounds
This widget was inspired by To Do List from HTC Sense - for some reason, they were the only ones to get it right.
Lite Market link - restricted to 8 entries and only one widget
https://market.android.com/details?id=fahrbot.apps.moogly.lite&feature=search_result
Screens:
Hi. I'm on Prime 1.7. Moogly lite installed, the widget showed up immediately in my widget list. Added a widget to my homescreen and entered the maximum 3 entries, changed the theme, resized the widget and deleted entries. All worked as intended/ expected. Nice app
Phew. However, would it be possible to get some feedback from someone on stock as well please?
Works perfectly on rooted stock 3.2, awesome app
Running stock 3.2 not rooted
Works perfect. Widget loaded with no problems.
How about sending me the proversion for testing.
I could, but the license would expire in 20 minutes and you have to spend a whopping $0.99 to get it working again...
lol that is exactly what i charge to evaluate your free one.
Works well on stock unrooted device. Added to the compatible apps list. Good job.

Great idea! It will go to the top of the list.
how about an option to put a title ( without the check off space) on each to do list.
Ill think about it - it might ruin the whole minimalist thing im going for. Will try and see though...
As a suggestion, I would name the widget "Moogly - To DO List" or something along those lines. I thought I had messed something up when looking through the M section of my widgets.
Eh? Im not sure i understand...
When I go to add the widget, I find it under 'To Do-list' (edit: actually it is found under the first number in the size)
I was looking for 'Moogly'
Its minor, just a suggestion.
I still don't understand. In the widget picker the app is simply called moogly... once you pick moogly, you get 2x2 to do list, 2x4 to do list, etc.
Its not an issue, its supposed to be like that.
But it isn't, at least on my tab.

shrug, if I'm the only one, I'll get over it =P.
I'll try to reboot again and see if that might fix it. Reboot didn't fix it.
Oh i see what you mean now!
The problem is that on a phone it uses a different logic - ie, once youve chose moogly in the picker, a second menu opens with the sizes... so it makes sense to give them those titles.
I think as a compromise im going top add filler graphics to the HC picker menu.

Yeah well, you are right but it's nothing more than the letter "n". And I shaped the letter myself in Photoshop and didn't really think about nook so I don't think that is a problem in any way.
Edit: Btw. I added some more screenshots and updatet the app but the Market refreshes itself so dawn slow that you can't see it yet.

Should it wake up the device or even unlock it?
Edit: I already implemented the pop-up. I'll make it an option if you want it to wake or even unlock the phone.
Also you'll be able to choose if you only want the normal notification, only the pop-up or both.
Stay tuned for the next Update
Alright, just updated the app, it might take a minute to show up in the market.
Changelog:
New features:
- Added option to get a popup upon receiving a notification
- Added option to wake or unlock device upon receiving a notification
- Added option to set the notification sound and vibration
Bugfixes:
- fixed minor things
This app is the business!! I've looked for something like this for quite a while, so thank you indeed for creating it.
Now that the pop-up option has been created, the only other suggestion I have is to be able to invert the colours - so that the background is dark and the text is white.
I'm glad you like it
I'm not satisfied with the all white background at the moment so I'll look into it this weekend. Maybe I'll make a black theme as an option too.

Yes - that the notifications created will automatically be exported to Google Calendar. It's not a big issue as the app works great as it is now. It was more if you wanted suggestions on possible further enhancements. I'm in no way an expert on creating apps, but there are calendars on the market that integrate with Googles calendar so it might be possible.
Great work.
Thank You

I'll look into it and if it's not too hard to do I'll implement it. I also thought about some feature to share notifications with other people and the Google Calendar might be the way to go there.
I've spent some time making the LINGO DAB GO! app looking good on ICS / JB, getting rid of the orange coloured UI that it had originally. Unfortuantely I don't yet have the external hardware required to have the app work, so not only is this a post up, it's also a sort of reach out for a tester of it
**BECAUSE THE APP USES THE HOLO THEME, IT NEEDS A VERSION WHICH HAS THE THEME IN IT, SO ANDROID 3.0 (Honeycomb) AND ABOVE ONLY!**
**THE APP USES AN EXTERNAL PIECE OF HARDWARE WHICH COSTS MONEY, IT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT!**
If you wish to buy one, you may do so here
Original version (have a bucket ready if you dislike horrible UIs)

What I changed:
- New icon (Thanks to bharathp666 of DeviantArt for that
- Made the UI work with Holo - Action bar added, app names for each part of the UI, icons for each part, "proper" pop up designs
- Fixed the menu to look nicer - new icons, ICS gradient background, better text colour, etc.
- Fixed loads of spelling and grammar mistakes (it's obvious the people who made this didn't have English as their first language)
- Removed 'Menu button of embarrassment' - No more three dot menu button on tablets and devices with on screen soft keys
- Made the FM & DAB screens fit the holo theme, with darker gray parts (#282828) and Holo blue parts (#33B5E5), as well as white and black where it fits
- Modified the settings screen to fit Holo preferences UI (couldn't edit source, so couldn't implement AndroidPreferences UI)
- New name - Radio - fits it better
- Removed pointless in-app back buttons - phone back button does the same thing
- Made notification bar visible
New screenshots:
Bugs:
- Twitter (within the app) doesn't seem to be working
- Music (within the app) doesn't seem to be working on my Galaxy Nexus
Download:
Download from my site here
Feedback:
If you have a Lingo device which supports this, test the DAB and FM and report back to me please
Else, you may access the app by doing the following:
Using a launcher such as Nova, Apex or LauncherPro, add a shortcut > activity
Select Radio > "Twitter"
Open the shortcut and the app will open to the menu, as twitter isn't working currently
Coming in the update:
√ New, higher quality menu icons
√ Fixed issues where some devices wouldn't connect to twitter or the Lingo device itself (just waiting for my tester with a device to check that one)
√ Fixed settings menu not being sized correctly on some devices
√ Brand new tablet menu UI with larger icons (like a car mode)
Bad news:
Update breaks Holo action bar theme, which from what I understand will never return, as it breaks the Twitter and lingo connections. This also means the return of the menu button on devices without a hardware menu key.

Hi Quinny,
Q1- Is this app still alive and under development?
I'm interested in getting a Lingo - Ivy for my N7 to listen to DAB+ in my car.
Q2 - Any chance this will go open source? So we can skin and modify to suit different uses (eg: Car Radio)?
Thanks

It's a very limited edit of the UI too, as doing much more breaks the connection altogether. I'm also planning on getting an iVy soon, so I might be able to do some more to get stuff working

Cheers Quinny.
I'll keep an eye on this thread.
I've emailed them to ask about future support for their app; my main concern was around Play Market feedback of FCs and crashes.
I just noticed on their site (http://www.lingodab.co.uk/product_iVy.php) the buy button has gone D:
Anyone know anywhere else that does the iVy and will deliver to England?
I called the AUS supplier yesterday (http://digitaltechgroup.com.au/Product-Details-ivy-40.html) and I know they have stock (of the Ivy).
I don't know if they would ship to UK however.

What is this ?
This is an App that generates colorful wallpaper-png's in High-Res!
This App is free, but has an In App Purchase for an upgrade to Premium Version.
Free and Premium are the same, except for: ...look further down in this description....
There is a lot of randomizing in this App...so no wallpaper will ever look the same!
Every generated wallpaper is different! You will never get exactly the same result again!
And there are tons of different settings to play with!
This is a super Fun App! Play with the options! Check out how different the images can be!!
Why this ?
Some of you may know me from my other threads
"The Battery LWP"
"The Rom Fumbler".
I'm into Battery Icons and (Live) Wallpapers....for my livewallpapers I was always looking for nice background images....
Google Image Search was not able to deliver enough wallpapers for me (besides the copyright-problems of using the images)....
...so an idea was born: Why not generate wallpaper-images with some math-algorithm!
So here you go....
Free vs. Premium Version
Funtionality-wise both versions are the same....
But.... The free Version has a small "annoying" text at the top of the generated images
And premium Users have access to some special Designs to download from within the App
Changelog
Version 4 is coming up with the ability to share designs with other users....
Download
Download from Playstore
Known Bugs
....you tell me!
Awesome as all of your other mobile apps! Excited to try it out!
great work as always

Thanks guys...
uploaded the initial Version to the Playstore!...and attached the apk in OP!
Have fun, and let me know what you like/dislike...show some of your wallpapers here!
"How to" or "what is the magic behind this?"
This App uses a lot of randomization...this will probably look cryptic for some of you....so I will try to explain how this works!
If you go into Settings of this app you see 3 main sections:
- Wallpaper Size
- Wallpaper Style
- Color Scheme
The simple part....
First of all you select the desired size of the Wallpaper!
Then the trickier part....
Then you choose a Color-Scheme....
The Color Scheme can have 2 or 4 different colors. These colors are used to draw a gradient all over the Wallpaper!
What kind of Gradient is defined with the "Color Gradient" option...
So when you generate/render an image...the first thing that is done internally is drawing this gradient all over the wallpaper
Now for the random "magic"...
Then you choose the Style...default is "Patterns" what is the only style at the moment (more will come)
Lets say you chose "Star" as pattern....
To draw the first star...
- the algorithm picks a random x/y-position in the gradient wallpaper
- and takes the color at this x/y-position.
--- the found color can also be randomized within a cofigurable range (Randomize Color (Range) settings)
--- the transparency of this color can also be randomized (Randomize Alpha (Range) settings)
- Then a star with this color and transparency (with a random size and orientation/rotation) is drawn at this position.
- This star can drop a shadow (if dropShadow is configured in settings)
- The Color of the dropshadow can also be randomized. (the random color is picked from another random x/y-position in the wallpaper)
This is done for 1000 stars!
Finally you have your unique image...it's like a fingerprint...nobody will generate the exact same image again
Save the image with the save-button....
You will find it at
/sdcard/Pictures/WallpaperDesigner/<....>.png
