What is this ?
This is an App that generates colorful wallpaper-png's in High-Res!
This App is free, but has an In App Purchase for an upgrade to Premium Version.
Free and Premium are the same, except for: ...look further down in this description....
There is a lot of randomizing in this App...so no wallpaper will ever look the same!
Every generated wallpaper is different! You will never get exactly the same result again!
And there are tons of different settings to play with!

Why this ?
Some of you may know me from my other threads

"The Rom Fumbler".
I'm into Battery Icons and (Live) Wallpapers....for my livewallpapers I was always looking for nice background images....
Google Image Search was not able to deliver enough wallpapers for me (besides the copyright-problems of using the images)....
...so an idea was born: Why not generate wallpaper-images with some math-algorithm!
So here you go....
Free vs. Premium Version
Funtionality-wise both versions are the same....
But.... The free Version has a small "annoying" text at the top of the generated images
And premium Users have access to some special Designs to download from within the App

"How to" or "what is the magic behind this?"
This App uses a lot of randomization...this will probably look cryptic for some of you....so I will try to explain how this works!
If you go into Settings of this app you see 3 main sections:
- Wallpaper Size
- Wallpaper Style
- Color Scheme
The simple part....
First of all you select the desired size of the Wallpaper!
Then the trickier part....
Then you choose a Color-Scheme....
The Color Scheme can have 2 or 4 different colors. These colors are used to draw a gradient all over the Wallpaper!
What kind of Gradient is defined with the "Color Gradient" option...
So when you generate/render an image...the first thing that is done internally is drawing this gradient all over the wallpaper
Now for the random "magic"...
Then you choose the Style...default is "Patterns" what is the only style at the moment (more will come)
Lets say you chose "Star" as pattern....
To draw the first star...
- the algorithm picks a random x/y-position in the gradient wallpaper
- and takes the color at this x/y-position.
--- the found color can also be randomized within a cofigurable range (Randomize Color (Range) settings)
--- the transparency of this color can also be randomized (Randomize Alpha (Range) settings)
- Then a star with this color and transparency (with a random size and orientation/rotation) is drawn at this position.
- This star can drop a shadow (if dropShadow is configured in settings)
- The Color of the dropshadow can also be randomized. (the random color is picked from another random x/y-position in the wallpaper)
This is done for 1000 stars!
Finally you have your unique image...it's like a fingerprint...nobody will generate the exact same image again
Save the image with the save-button....
You will find it at
/sdcard/Pictures/WallpaperDesigner/<....>.png

Yep, couldn't follow on the provided link when I downloaded the second time.
EDIT: Just do a Market search with the app's title. It should return with two results; one for the free and another for the paid version.

-selectable date format (dd/mm/yyyy - mm/dd/yyyy)
-an option to swap top/bottom colors it could be helpful
-something about the battery meter, something simple? like an extra line or even text?

2. Time format configuration, AM/PM, 24 hrs.
Time and date is too big for QVGA screen (240x320px) X10 Mini. Maybe you can make a fix ?

AM/PM location will be in next update.
Looks nice. Tap to open app is cool. I will be honest. Right now it's just like every other digital clock out there. Some things I can see that may set you apart.
1. A different name. everything is named "X clock" name it something like "Tom's Super Sexy Timepiece of the Future"
2. Add a feature to adjust scale. I have a big open space on my home screen for a nice free digital clock.
3. Integrate a multi-alarm system and/or datebook depending upon your level of ambition
4. Animations? Have a little man in a funny suit blow a horn on the screen when the alarm goes off and you have to punch the little [email protected]#tard to shut off your alarm
5. Multi-language? I dont speak any others but I have heard some people do
6. Borders around the clock
7. ability to control font and scale of date separately

Just tried on HTC Desire running CM7.2 RC0 Kang and is running just fine.

I was wandering and there are several options:
1) transparent 1x1 widget with text contact name text
2) 1x1 widget with background light/dart with contact name text
and...
main window with call, text, email - disable image, put contact name text only...
What do you think would be most usable?

Sorry it does not seem to work now. When there is a picture available or none it always show's the widget icon only, no contact pic or in the text widget no contact name, just the widget name.

Reverted to nonscrollable config,
just shrinked it now - should work for most of screen sizes.

Let me suggest to modify a little bit the default blue theme, it is simply wonderful but the font is too thin and the space between buttons is almost invisible. I'd make another identical version with the same button spacing of the fourh theme, the grey one, which is already how I am suggesting

We just updated the app to version 0.2.
NEED TO CLEAR OLD APP DATA OR REINSTALL.
Changelog:
- Updated built-in constants.
- Supported superscript in power operator.
- Fixed minor bugs.
Crashes on startup after update.
UPDATE: after reinstalling, it works nice now. Anyway, it's nice to see superscript is supported. Good job!

Although I am a beta tester, its been a couple of days since I can't see the app on "my apps" section of the store, and I still have to receive the latest update. Maybe it's just a Google issue, and we just need to wait a few more hours?

yes, Im aware about it but since I feel it is something that is acceptable.

I'm using redmi note 4 and if I'm using default launcher the problem don't exist but if I'm using launchers like launcher 3 or lawnchair the image gets zoomed. So i think the problem is solved. Thank you

Silax 1.1.2 support separate the home screen and lock screen. It supports the scrollable and fixed wallpaper as well
The newest version of Silax now remove vertical picture filter for more returned results.

Wallpapers from Pixabay is uploaded by various of users so It might contain some pictures which are not really good.
Anyway, thank you for the feedback.
