[Q] HTC Sensation doesn't turn on !!!

I have a HTC Sensation rooted and installed custom ROM last week with HTC Sensation Android Development[ROM] . For the last 2 days my phone restarted twice i think. Now it doesn't turn ON! I tryed to pull out the batery wait for 3 minutes and put it back bu nothing unitl now. I push the power button, i am trying to go on hBOOT pressing the power + volume down but nothing happens. Cane you please help me?! I tryied everyhting and don't know what do do. Thank you

charging from custom recovery tends not to work so if the battery is flat you may have to get an external charger.

the top solution is option one... but if the external charger is more expensive just buy a new battery... if possible borrow somebody's batt and test first...

I fixed that thanks god!!! But now another problem starts.. i turn on the phone and restarts over and over after the green sign. I can't access recovery also. I tried to install a recovery putting this file: PG58IMG in to Memory card and then install but no success it does the same I can't access recovery at all. When i try to access it my phone restarts the same when i try to turn it on. If someone one know what to do please tell me...thank you

You should be able to access recovery if you pull the SDcard before booting

it doesn't ! I tried but when i choose recovery it shows me the Android Green Screen, a black screen after and then phone shuts down !!! Thanks anyway

Where did you get that PG file from?

This may help or not, but you could always see if it's recognised by your PC when you try and boot into the Bootloader using Volume Down + Power. It seems odd that it would refuse to get into the Bootloader and go straight to the green HTC logo.
My rationale is that if it is successfully does get recognised by your PC, then you could attempt to use ADB to breathe life back into your device, if not at the very least get some information about what seems to be the problem.
It's a bit vague, I apologise. A little more research on my part is needed I guess. (new to these forums, just trying to help!)

[Q] SGS+ cant boot anymore

Hey,
this is my first post in this forum and already only problems
I was here already a while cause i got my SGS+ and wanted to flash it.
It went all well but now i have a really BIG problem, my SGS+ cant boot anymore
I dont mean it it starts and get only the yellow signal. I mean it really cant boot anymore it starts only sometimes and if it start as soon as the samsung logo
shows up a blue or green color and it turn again off. It cant load anymore too.
Only once it loaded but the circle in the batterie lagged much and after a short
time was there a yellow triangle beside the batterie.
Here more clear:
Problem:
-It cant boot anymore if i press Power it doesnt recognize normally
-Only somethimes the samsung Logo appears but it shut very soon down again
with a green or blue colour
-It cant load anymore too
-Once it started to load but the circle was lagging and after a short time was
there a yellow triangle beside the batterie
First happend:
-I downloaded the Gamestar App (its a german magazine) and readed some
Things, then it gone out and i wasnt able to start it anymore.
And i know it could be a hardware error cause off the colors wich occours before it shut down but if so is there a chance to get a new with garantue ?
I mean do they repair it to look if it was flashed or send they only a new on ?
I would be glad if anyone could help me

Ou i forgot the costum Firmeware is broodROM RC3 but without any special kernel (i didnt flash the FeaCore Kernel)

That wont work because the SGS+ cant boot anymore i mean it doesnt
even start iv i press the power-button but that i wrote already. I know
already that this is a hardware error but my question is if Samsung repair
devices with hardware problems or simple send a new one ? Because if they
repair it they see that i have a costum firmware and i need to pay it.

Sheeesh i CANT DO THAT because my DEVICE CANT START ANYMORE it is simple black if i press the start button NOTHING happens thats why i CANT flash with odin i hope it is now clear enough.

get in download mode and flash stock rom via odin.....

Could anyone delete these posts they are actually nothing more as spam for unlocking and DIFENTLY low level posts ......

If you can't get to Odin, then you bricked your device...

if you have sgs+ aka i9001 then i'll clear to you what others said... go to download mode= press power button + volume down+ home. that's 3button combination.
put your phone to download mode and then connect it to odin.

phone actin up since update really need help

hey peeps,im a noob in this whole Android thingin..always been a fan of ios till i got sick and tired of jailbreakin..
my problem is 2 days ago i updated to cm10 by Kang evry thing was fine whit the updating went smooth.
but, after it reboots i want to start an app and the phone freezes for a few seconds and reboots.
i tryed to get in fastboot or recovery mod but it wont work..pressing the buttons and all it does is vibrate and start the os.
cant see if debugin is turned on cuz it wont let me enter any app.
my pc wont recognize adb it tells me something bout adb server is old but i updated evrything thru sdk.
not even the ruu is detecting the phone no more.
been seasrchin now since 2 days to find a resolution.but couldnt maybe someone here got or had the same problem.
my pc detects it as massstorage adb interface and android phone ....im running windows7
all i want is to get back in fastboot or recovery or something just to bring my phone back to normal life.
if someone can help me whit adb its cool too...

To go to fastboot/bootloader
Power off your phone.. Then remove battery, reinsert it, and then press the volume down and power button together.. That will take you to bootloader
Then select recovery and enter it.. Restore your backup if you have one.. Or fresh install the ROM again.. Don't forget to do the complete wipe before flashing the rom... Not super wipe.. But wipe from recovery.. If using cwm - factory reset
If 4EXT recovery - wipe/format- format all partitions except sdcard

Ganeshp, Quick question, why not SuperWipe ? I've been away for a while and in the past SuperWipe was a MUST do between ROMs. I went from Stock 3.33 WWE to CM10 via a SuperWipe, it seemed to work fine. However, I have seen similar comments to yours since in so much as SuperWipe shouldn't be used. So I'm guessing there must be a reason.

superwipe doesnt have device checks ..its dangerours ..and its incompatible with AOSP ROMS ....lot of AOSP/CM9 roms say that superwipe is incompatible..besides superwipe is redundant ..recovery can very well take care of wiping

you cannot go to bootloader? @[email protected] first time im seeing this ..my wild guess is you are not removing the battery and reinserting it..which is quite crucial for the bootloader to pop up during the process...
as long as usb debugging is not checked ..adb wont work ..and your only option is to go to bootloader (how? -> ive explained you before)
and use fastboot commands

[i removed batterie put it back in pressing volume down + power and it just reboots in normal mode..no fastboot whit the 3 android skaters.
damn...like i said 2 days ago evrything was fine shouldnt have put this cm10 on it i guess...
now i got the phone sayin for the first time after awhile that its in usb mass storage...then it freezes and reboots again
im bout to throw this phone out of the window..

Still cant get anything to work...i really Need help i cant use warranty Cut Off cm10 that i got on the phone.pc dont recognize the phone only as mass storage.ruu cant Update gives me error Code 170 and like i Said thursday EVERY thing was Fine.
Had the Batterie Even Out for two days.

ok to tell u guys excatly what i did.
i downloaded cm10 from kang and flashed it via cwm evrything was fine.
then the phone rebooted normal.
i wanet to go to settings and set usb debugin on on,here is were the problem started.
soon as i press setings it freezes and reboots i tryed it over and over.
i cant get into fastboot,recovery,hboot,bootloader etc..
my phone is only listed as mass storage device on my pc running win7.
even got ubuntu on the pc duallboot mode and there its not at all recognized.
i want to know if my phone is bricked...since it still starts but it wont let me open any apps..whit out freezing and restarting again....
normaly the phone says that its in mass storage mode but not even that is showin up when connected to pc...
tryed to get in download mode but the wire trick is not working.
i would even take the phone to the shop but since cm10 is booting i dont got no warranty on the phone no more.
can somebody help me i really love ma phone and all its functions dnt want to buy me a new one...
and yeah power button volume button thing i did a couple hundred times now....
i even tryed to install stock ruu but it just shows me error 170....and yes i been up on google searchin...but noone really can help me whit this sh***
im really bout to slam this phone against the wall if there wqasnt so many documents and pictures on it...

My friend wanted me to root his P920..i did using SuperOneClick, but then i couldnt install any recoveries or custom roms. Now i want to restore the phone as it was but all methods i tried (i read all topics) is failing. I even tried LG software update and now the phone is just bootloop on LG logo.
Please is there a friendly soul who could help me restore the phone? I read somewhere i might have messed up the bootloader.....help please anyone?

Try this:
1. Enable sound on your pc
2. Turn off you phone remove sd/sim card.
3. Connect your phone while pressing volume up with the Pc (I guess u have lg Drivers installed)
4. Wait and see if you hear sth (like 3 or more sounds) or if you phone enter in S/W mode.
5. reply again

No sounds......But it enters S/W mode....but nothing happens.......what should i do?

Im also worried that the battery will die....will it be charged while in S/W mode?

Go to device manager while in S/W mode and connect the usb cable.
See if anything pops up and reply.
I think it will show you LG Cosmo driver that is not installed but lets see.

All drivers was installed inclusive LG Cosmo Driver....i saw it......But when in device manager with S/W mode on i cant see the COSMO Driver name......
Should i be worried about battery dying? How can i know its charging when the phone is off?

As im aware it wont, but it still should charge if you just plug it when its off.
The Fact that you can enter downloadmode means you phone can be restored (Data will be lost)
Try that guide, its easiest one

I tried smartflash succesfully but phone still bootloops with LG logo on...also read later on in the thread that this might mean that bootloader is broken and needs to be restored...i paste quote "you have most likely been fiddling with the bootloader.
You'll need the correct bootloaders for the su870".....whats the solution now?

Just for the occasion i still know one method, but got to go now (Carneval )

Do you have any other cable that you can try with?
What does it actually show?

Im trying with my brand new Note 2 LTE Usb Cable.......still the same....

I tried with fastboot, but when it comes to installing CWM it cant find directory, and im pretty sure ive put the img file in the right folder......

Okey i tried this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1942836 again and again and now im booting to Gingerbread 2.3.5 but the phone is not finding any internal memory space......in settings it says 0 mb left, i tried format internal memory but it wont help.........also i have not been able to enter recovery mode, to try flash something else.......and since there are 0 mb internal storage i cant download ROM manager either.........any ideas anyone?

You gotta format your internal memory from within the ROM. Boot your device then Go to settings/storage/format internal sd. It should be okay. If you can't find the settings try pressing menu button while in the homescreen. In the menu press settings and it should run.

Try to flash another gingerbread Kernel. If you cant enter recovery, but you can enter fastboot mode then try: fastboot flash (Drag and Drop the boot.img to shell) and press enter.

Turn off your phone then turn on your phone while holding 3D button and vulume up or down ( not sure which one ) and power button as son as the screen turns on free all of them then you should see the android icon wait till you enter the recovery mode there format every thing.
I hope this will work

Guys,my phone gets a problem,a massive problem,so when i press power button it just show a green led light,when i hod it same result a green light shows and disappear and again shows,it have 46 percent battery when this happend but i plug it to charger result like i hold power button,cant enter recovery same like i press power button,fastboot mode is gone when i hod volup and plug to pc it goes on flash mode,flash mode is now have two buttons volup works and vol down works too.i am try to install .75 fromware with newflasher,its installed but my phone still bricked,i install .34 too and it dosent unbrick my phone too.
Please help me because i cant find a way to fix it,oh and i try yo use sony companion but it dosent install on my pc.
And sorry for my bad english.

try to reinstall twrp rwcovery
enter tobrecovery then wipe all data and cash to format ur phone

I dont know how i most do it,but im sure that not gonna help because when i get brick i already haved twrp but i cant boot to recovery.

this has happened to me last night i have 22 percnt battery charge my phone, i have turn off my phone because i want to enter again recovery because im doing some installing zip, when i press power then vol down, it was off so i was thinking it was booting into recovery but it wasnt turning on pressing power nothing going recovry nothing, i panic i get my original sony charger then plug it in, after a while it turn on with a battery indicator, i charge it about 60% then tried turning on the device, and magic it turned back to life, i wasnt sure what was happening but next time when ur going to recovery make sure phone is turned off then go from there dont go, turn off while its turning off press power + vol down please dont do this

2 hour on charging but nothing.

Im haved carbon rom ,then im going to recovery flash turbo rom flash magisk reboot device(after im go to rom change log i found that root deleted on that version i installed),so boot animation shows up but device turn off i again press power bottun again boot animation shows up and device turn off do that again and same result.so after 3 time im try to going to recovery mode but i found that my phone is bricked.

Oh I see did you have. Clean installation? I mean did u wipe everything before flashing turbo latest tomorrow? Because it needs to have a clean flash Coz of a high sec update and no dirty flashing as posted to his thread,

Im never do a dirty flash always clean flash.

I recently fixed a bricked XZP with Flashtool, get the latest stock firmware from Xperifirm if you dont have on hand an older hackable firmware from XperiFIX
in Xperifirm setting, set it to extract firmware automatically once downloaded to speed things up,
In flashtool/Tools/bundles/Create, select source folder (your downloaded extracted firmware)
in device "double click" & select your phone model from the list.
branding: add as your download example, custom_uk
version: firmware version copy & paste from download
copy all files from file list to firmware content & click create
this will build a .ftf flash tools file which can then be flashed to your bricked device
just follow the prompts in flashtool....
worked for me,

I already haved 3 ftf file i instaled all of them with flashtool nothing change i still have a bricked phone.its look like im so unluckyor others dont experince my problem.
Im hating sony now i never will buy a phone and im gonna tell every body to do not buy a sony phone.im using y3 now and if my phone dosent fix thats gonna be my phone unitl it die.

Guys really no way for me? Im realy upset to why i dont bought a lg phone .because lg has a tool wich i relive my dead g3 with that why sony dosent have a tool like that?

Ofcourse i have and flashed .34 amd .75 frimwares with both neflasher and flashtool but none of them fix my problem.is it something that dosent change when we flash stock frimwares.

Lol. Sony phones are really hard to brick. You really can't brick a Sony phone even if you intentionally wanted to. I've even had a failed flash (phone disconnected while flashing) and was still able to flash using flashtool.
Anyways, I know this has been said before, but what happens after you flash using flashtool? Did you check all the boxes for a full wipe?
BTW, bad mouthing a phone just because you can't solve your problem won't help you.
