Not sure if my phone is bricked or not

Basically when I boot my phone up, all it shows is an image of a phone, a sign with a ! in the middle, and the pic of a pc. Is there any possible way to fix this or do I have to send it back to tmobile? If it helps I dont think my phone is usb debugging mode either

You should be able to fix . try this.

I'm nit able to get my phone into download mode or recovery. Everytime I boot it up it shows the same screen I mentioned in the OP

try turning fone off and taking out the battery.... then ensure your holding down volume up n down buttons while pluggin in usb.... and you get the fone into download mode.... hope that helps

Open Odin 1.7 on your computer and plug your USB into your PC. Now take out the battery and hold down volume keys while plugging in USB and putting battery in. Should bring you to download mode. Once in download mode download kd1 put it into PDA and go for it.
Note:it dosent have to show up in download mode to actually be in download mode. If it shows up a little yellow box means in your in download mode.

To be honest I think you might of needed USB debugging

I believe I have a similar issue, from Krylon's KD1 CWM, i Rezipped correctly, flashed, this this happened..
However, phone sits on Galaxy s4g boot up screen forever.. left it for 15 minutes now.
Also phone will no longer boot into CWM, looks like this may have bricked me.
Yes I did wipes, yes i followed the re-zip instructions correctly, yes I've flashed roms I know the drill.
Anyone know how to fix this? Or does this rom take forever on the first boot? 20+ minutes? doubt it...
And I cant boot back into CWM, Or stock recovery so i'm not sure how to fix this.
It literally either sits on the first Galaxy S 4g screen, or if i hold three button salute, it acts like it would normally boot into recovery, and cycles over and over with no recovery boot.
**UPDATE** Got mine fixed, odin+download mode

I got the drivers from this site and I had Odin running before I tried to put my phone into Download mode, Odin didn't not pick it up

So I got it figured out. You were right about using running Odin before hand, I just had to use a different usb cable. I brought my phone back. Thanks for all your help

[Q] Stuck phone in CWM based recovery mode

Hi,
My phone stuck in CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.3 blue screen.
I searched alot in this forum and google, every one said to use ODIN to get back to stock,
I tried ODIN recovery to get back to stock, by my PC doesnt recognize my device (because ODIN requires device to be in download mod). So how can I fix this? Please help me.

First... what where you doing to get it on blue cmw in the first place?
Also im not saying you are doing it wrong... and im SURE you have tried like 1000 times but lets check:
1.-pull battery out
2.-connect cable to PC and to phone
3.- while connected to PC and battery OUT press BOTH volume keys at same time
4.-while pressing both volume keys and conected to pc trough micro usb introduce the battery
Thats how you go into DL mode... if it DOESNT.... damn... you messed up your bootloader? at the VERY least you should get a:
"Phone-----!-----Computer"
sign....
Not working still? hmm get an usb jig on ebay/amazing or anyplace you like to FORCE the DL mode... still try the steps i provided before... when entering DL mode only 2 buttons nedded not 3 like on CMW recovery read the steps... then try... try.... and try.

And i repeat... im not saying your doing it wrong... electronic devices may fail anytime still... put the human part to work and read well the instructions and do them as said before we can blame a piece of metal/plastic xD

[Q] Device completely unusable :( PLZ HELP

I tried following cyanogen wiki on an Inspire 4G. It didn't work and gave "Incorrect Model ID" error.
So I switched to use Hack-Ace tool. Everything worked as expected and I guess I was going good. When Hack-Ace completed, the phone went into an infinite look showing HTC logo then blind to a black screen with background light ON.
I could ADB and reboot in bootloader where I clashed the CM7 ROM. Every step went through fine and it restarted. Now all I get is nothing.
The device shows the HTC Logo on white screen after leaving a while and the vibrator is ON constantly. It doesn't help really but keeps doing that. It will only stop if I remove battery.
Plugging the device into USB doesn't detect on PC.
When tried charging, it shows the error messages and nothing happens, no buttons interact.
I guess I have a full brickd phone now

You font nerd recovery with that file. Just out it on the root if your sdcard. Meaning not in any folder and boot into bootloader...not recovery then it will recognize the file then just follow onscreen instructions

Dude download the PD98 file above it is the rooted updated gingerbread ROM. Place it in the root of your SD card (you will have to remove SD card and use adapter to move zip file to root of SD card if PC does not recognize phone with USB cable) and power phone off then power back up holding down power button and volume down button at same time. Phone should go to bootloader then it will recognize the PD98 zip file and ask if you want to istall. Volume up for yes and it will do its thing. No need to try to get into recover phone will do it itself with the PD98 zip file. Zip is (ATT ROM 2.47.502.7 w/Radio - 26.10.04.03_M)

At&t lg g3 (d850)

I hope someone can help? I have an AT&T LG G3 (D850) that boots up with an error message at the logo screen. It does not go any further than that. I can get the phone in recovery mode only. I have reset to factory several times. No luck. Additionally, my computer does not recognize that the G3 is connected, so can't use Odin to flash recovery.
Is there any way to get the phone to work again? Or, am I looking at a very expensive paper weight. I thank you in advance is you can help me out.

if you cant get to download mode then it is probably a brick call att for warrenty

Thanks for your help. The phone was rooted, so I am sure that AT&T will say that I voided the warranty. But, it does not hurt to try.

If it won't boot they can't tell doubt they will check anyway

Thanks for your response. Odin does not highlight a port, when the phone is connected. ADB says no device found. I think I will go to Best Buy and ask their Samsung Expert to update ROM, which might get it out of loop.

While in recovery you should be able to mtp xfer a stock rom to your downloads directory (SD card), and flash it, would be my hope. I believe you did say you can get to recovery.
What happened/changed that left it error booting?

Maybe I am using the wrong term...I can hold the volume button down and power button to get it to a screen where I can wipe the data to factory. Besides that I cannot get to any other screen. I was trying to flash Philz recovery on the device. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Are you on OEM recovery? If on TWRP recovery you can MTP a file to the SD and flash via that. I'm not familiar with OEM recovery other than seeing it once.

First of all, thank you for all your responses. I really appreciate that. I ended up sending the phone to LG to be fixed. I just want the phone fixed and server as my backup now, since I bought the Samsung Note 4 and Gear S. Will update, when I hear back from LG. Thanks again.

Sounds to me that the drivers are not loaded correctly on the PC. If you can get to recovery you should be able to get to DL, I would think.

Xz premium G8142 bricked

Guys,my phone gets a problem,a massive problem,so when i press power button it just show a green led light,when i hod it same result a green light shows and disappear and again shows,it have 46 percent battery when this happend but i plug it to charger result like i hold power button,cant enter recovery same like i press power button,fastboot mode is gone when i hod volup and plug to pc it goes on flash mode,flash mode is now have two buttons volup works and vol down works too.i am try to install .75 fromware with newflasher,its installed but my phone still bricked,i install .34 too and it dosent unbrick my phone too.
Please help me because i cant find a way to fix it,oh and i try yo use sony companion but it dosent install on my pc.
And sorry for my bad english.

this has happened to me last night i have 22 percnt battery charge my phone, i have turn off my phone because i want to enter again recovery because im doing some installing zip, when i press power then vol down, it was off so i was thinking it was booting into recovery but it wasnt turning on pressing power nothing going recovry nothing, i panic i get my original sony charger then plug it in, after a while it turn on with a battery indicator, i charge it about 60% then tried turning on the device, and magic it turned back to life, i wasnt sure what was happening but next time when ur going to recovery make sure phone is turned off then go from there dont go, turn off while its turning off press power + vol down please dont do this

2 hour on charging but nothing.

Im haved carbon rom ,then im going to recovery flash turbo rom flash magisk reboot device(after im go to rom change log i found that root deleted on that version i installed),so boot animation shows up but device turn off i again press power bottun again boot animation shows up and device turn off do that again and same result.so after 3 time im try to going to recovery mode but i found that my phone is bricked.

Oh I see did you have. Clean installation? I mean did u wipe everything before flashing turbo latest tomorrow? Because it needs to have a clean flash Coz of a high sec update and no dirty flashing as posted to his thread,

Im never do a dirty flash always clean flash.

I recently fixed a bricked XZP with Flashtool, get the latest stock firmware from Xperifirm if you dont have on hand an older hackable firmware from XperiFIX
in Xperifirm setting, set it to extract firmware automatically once downloaded to speed things up,
In flashtool/Tools/bundles/Create, select source folder (your downloaded extracted firmware)
in device "double click" & select your phone model from the list.
branding: add as your download example, custom_uk
version: firmware version copy & paste from download
copy all files from file list to firmware content & click create
this will build a .ftf flash tools file which can then be flashed to your bricked device
just follow the prompts in flashtool....
worked for me,

I already haved 3 ftf file i instaled all of them with flashtool nothing change i still have a bricked phone.its look like im so unluckyor others dont experince my problem.
Im hating sony now i never will buy a phone and im gonna tell every body to do not buy a sony phone.im using y3 now and if my phone dosent fix thats gonna be my phone unitl it die.

Guys really no way for me? Im realy upset to why i dont bought a lg phone .because lg has a tool wich i relive my dead g3 with that why sony dosent have a tool like that?

Edit flshimg normaly firmware dosent fixy problem.i dont know what the hell going on my phone it just have flashmode no more and when try any other thing just notification led turn green and off.

Ofcourse i have and flashed .34 amd .75 frimwares with both neflasher and flashtool but none of them fix my problem.is it something that dosent change when we flash stock frimwares.

Lol. Sony phones are really hard to brick. You really can't brick a Sony phone even if you intentionally wanted to. I've even had a failed flash (phone disconnected while flashing) and was still able to flash using flashtool.
Anyways, I know this has been said before, but what happens after you flash using flashtool? Did you check all the boxes for a full wipe?
BTW, bad mouthing a phone just because you can't solve your problem won't help you.
