All of the paid apps In my android market are no longer showing :[ I have done every type o resets besides a full factory reset. They were showing earlier today, my device is unrooted and I live in the US. Any suggestions?
Are any of your paid apps on THIS list? If they're not they might not be showing up because they might not be compatible with tablets. If some are on that list then contact google from the 'help' section at the bottom of the market page from a desktop browser.

I have exactly the same problem the only difference is that mine is not rooted, everything is stock with all OTA's applied. I can see paid apps but cannot install them.
same for me this morning, lost all paid apps from the market. I'm running stock 2nd update in the uk.... ant even see them....
I'm getting something very similar.
Whenever I try to access the market page of a paid app I get a pop-up message saying "Sorry, details page for the requested item could not be found" and if I press OK I get dumped back to the previous page.
However if I press the back button the page I want displays OK and I can install the app.
A quick google for the error message I'm seeing brings up a few reports from Xoom users seeing the same thing so I think Google may have b0rked the honeycomb market and hopfully will be unb0rking it soon.
http://www.xoomforums.com/forum/mot...oad-random-apps-receive-sorry-error-help.html
It's something on googles end as it's not our devices. It looks to me as if they are doing something with the servers that hold the market data. Let's hope they are upgrading something, and adding new features.
There's a good thread on the problem over in the XDA Xoom section
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1057250 which is suggesting that it's a problem with a new version of Google Market (1.0.17) and wifi only devices.
Probably Google has forgotten to add tablet without SIMs to the list of devices allowed to access paid apps on the market (they had a habit of doing something similar for new phones a while ago).
If someone has a rooted device and market enabler installed they could try using that to trick Market into thinking you're a valid device but I have no idea how successful it would be.

Damn, still can't buy not apps tho =[
In the meantime, you can use the website market.android.com
There's been a reply from a google employee to the support thread on this problem saying they've made some corrections and I can now see paid apps properly (though I haven't tried buying any new ones yet)

Yep I just got the same email. Working on my transformer
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk
This has been driving me nuts. I made my last (successful) purchase without problem about 72 hours ago and ever since then I have been getting this error with any attempt to get a new app either paid or free.
"Purchase Cancelled - Error processing purchase"
I've Google'd it and see it appears many times over the past months. I have tried every "fix" that has been suggested in those messages without any success. I just reinstalled the 3.1 ROM on top of the existing 3.1 install and that didn't help either.
There have been a few instances of it posted in these forums but all those suggestions failed as well. I have no problem purchasing an app off my PC and then downloading it off the TF Market but I can't initiate any NEW app from the TF.
Any suggestions?
If you're purchasing an app from a developer not in the US it is treated as an international purchse. Most banks put and automatic hold for those types of purchases. Call your bank/credit card and see if they put a hold.
Also try installing from the website.

I can't get ANYTHING, including free, paid, local or otherwise. And YES, it works fine from the website. The error is from the MARKET app.
I don't really care for small details.
The market on tablets is pretty crappy, wait for an update, in the meantime just install via the web.
Anytime I get this error I go clear the data/cache for the market app. You don't lose anything, and when you run it again it should work. I haven't had any success with installing from the web myself. The market on honeycomb is indeed pretty screwy. You'd think google would be all over it as it's probably a big chunk of their income...

Been there, done that .... didn't help. To use the the web interface just select the free or pay app on the web interface and select download. Then go to the Market app on the tablet and search for it and then it will download through the app. You just can't make the initial purchase (or free download) through the app.

Yea, you know what "they" say: "The devil is in the details."
i just got my transformer today and the market worked fine with prime v1.4. then i backed it up and flashed another rom, then restored my backup. Now i'm getting this error too.
edit: I just fixed mine with nvflash by completely reflashing prime 1.4
i had a similar issue a while ago on my streak. I refunded an app and could no longer download any apps (previously purchased and free apps). Turns out something went wrong on google's end. Head over to this support page. Fill out your info and choose the option closest to the issue your having. After i filled out that form, i went to sleep, woke up in the morning and could download apps again.
Hope this fixes your issue.
Thanks for the link. I just got my TF101 and I can only search or browse for free apps. I can get to paid apps, through tegra zone for example, but I get a message that says either item could not be found or item cannot be downloaded in your country.

I got a reply from someon at Google stating that they would be investigating my case. They asked for more details on what actions I took to generate the error, I replied back with said details and I'm still waiting for a response.
Right now, since I still don't have anything important on my Tablet I'm switching to a Stock ROM, verified my default country on my Google Apps account and made sure it's set to US (being from Puerto Rico, it was originally set as Puerto Rico), still haven't had any success.
The only way I was able to resolve the problem was to erase all data then reflash the ROM then reload my data. After almost 2 weeks of inability to purchase ANY paid or app or download any free app using the Market app it is now functional again. It failed after my successful purchase of Titanium Backup Pro.
I had Prime 1.5 running perfectly fine but I noticed that a new update came out 8.4.4.11 and I wanted to update to that. Sure enough Clemsyn updated his ROM with .11 so I wiped data via cwm, flashed Clemsyn ROM + Kernel 3a and, before logging into my accounts, I restored with Titanium backup. When I rebooted I noticed I had this market issue.
To resolve the issue I flashed, without wiping data, Prime 1.5 via CMW. Booted. Then went right back into recovery and applied Clemsyns ROM again and now the market is working fine.
New market fixes this issue.

Will they attempt to unroot your device or mess around with the rom?
I am getting the purchase cancelled error as well on Prime 1.6. Tried reflashing the rom but still the same.
The new market works but would prefer to use the old market. Any ideas?
i remember getting this error when the developer of an app refunded my money, after that i couldnt download jack. i upgraded roms and fixed my issue.
I was having the same issue with my Galaxy Tab 10.1 after I flashed a different rom then restored the older rom. I found the solution and it worked for me after following those steps here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1185168
It came to me to go into accounts and sync. I looked at it for a moment then clicked my google account and top right clicked remove account. On starting market after wiping market app cache it asked me to log in with password (which it didn't before) that was it, job done!!! Google account restored on tablet and market working great for a good few days now
The solution does not work for me, still can not get free apps.
I had constant Market issues on stock 3.1/3.2, rooted and unrooted. Played with Prime for a bit and things seem to be a little better, then I installed Revolver 2.0 and have had maybe 2-3 very small issues since (just had to hit the back button or exit Market, then reinitiate download). If you're having issues, I'd recommend giving Revolver a try if you're up for it. It'd probably be a good idea to wipe data too.
Hey, guys.
Since there's a 10 cent sale, I can't pass it up. There's 2 apps I got on the Amazon Appstore for free, but they're on the market for 10 cents. Might as well pay the 10 cents and get better support and updates through the Android Market.
However, the Android Market shows I have those 2 apps... but I can't download them because it keeps coming up that I haven't paid for them. Duh! It won't let me purchase them either. It keeps coming up "Error - The download was declined because you haven't purchased it."
There's no buy button. Just install. I Force Closed Market, cleared cache, and cleared defaults. Still the same problem. What can I do?

No luck there.
It's solved. Google says their payment system is updating. It's on their end. Didn't get an ETA for when it'll be fixed. Probably later tonight is my guess.
I'm now having the same problem for swiftkey... did it ever get resolved for you?
Uninstall the Amazon version of the app.
Purchase it from the android market.
Have a nice day.
I have the same problem and even if I uninstall the app from Amazon Appstore, Android Market continues telling "install" instead of "buy".
If I try to install : Market tells me I didn't purchase it...
I'm in the same boat, I have uninstalled the other version, tried unlinking it with TB and I still can't buy some apps
I have the same problem. I couldn't even manage to buy with (old) Market version 2.2.11.

The old market says the credit cards I attached to Google checkout are invalid. It is very strange because they are usable on Market 3.3.11...
This has been driving me crazy since yesterday...but I think I found a fix.
Following the suggestions from Sygmasf (credit goes to him) on this link:
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=39a174b42dfab155&hl=en
I uninstalled the app in question and removed it's folder from the phone completely. Then, I installed the old version of the market he links to (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=743249&d=1318041888) and I was able to download the app I wanted.
The app I wanted was SoundHound and in the old version of the market that I had to install it showed as $4.99 but when I clicked to download it actually showed it was only charging me $.10.
YeeHaw! Now...if I could only get back to the "new" version of the market...
ETA: I just restored Market from a previous Titanium Back-up I had and I'm back to the latest and greatest!

I was having the same problem with Beautiful Widgets that I got from Getjar Gold Apps and that worked for me.
I froze the Market (and updater), installed the older market and bought the app (it was highlighted with green and showed the €0.10 price). Thanks!
I had problems installing the apk. Said 'Cannot Open File'
I got around this by going to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications
Scroll to Market then Uninstall Updates. That rolled it back to an earlier version where I could buy the app.
open a ticket with Google technical support
it's a known issue, they still don't have a fix
apparently thousands of users are having the same problem

Look at the link I posted above Mate...
I've been trying to fix a market issue with my SG tab 7.7 so I did a full wipe and reflashed the ROM in CWM.
Now when I go into the market, all my paid apps don't show up as paid, it wants me to pay again (e.g. titanium root, mobile odin etc.) Ditto on the web store as well.
I've filled in the form on the website but I"m not holding my breath for google (lack of) customer service, anybody run into this before?
Checking on my other droids, the same issue appears to be afflicting them as well, even if the app comes up in 'my apps' when I click on it instead of letting me reinstall it wants me to pay again!!!!
EDIT: Please DO NOT BOTHER SUGGESTING any of the normal 'fixes' such as clearing cache/data, clearing google service framework, full wipe, remove and re-add account, check google account is selected etc. This thread is for those of us whom none of the client side fixes work. And yes our web store is also similarly broken. Confirmed its a google side issue via raising a ticket with them. As per google: ""We are currently aware of this problem with Android apps on Google Play and are trying to resolve it. This complex issue involves several areas of the Google Play Store app and is not an easy fix, so I don’t have a good estimate on how long it will take us to resolve it. As soon as I have any updates, I’ll be the first to let you know.""
Just one silly question. Are you using the same gmail account for your paid market apps ? Is the device id remain the same as it is ?
Touch wood, so far I never experience your issue here. I have did several times of full data wipe with flashed more than 10 different roms from GB to ICS and so far my paid apps still displaying as "purchased". It will appear as "not installed" in "My Apps" section if I haven't re-download/restore them.
Try contact google and probably you need to show them your receipts from the apps you purchased in the past.
Same account, I didn't change any ID or whatever (full wipe and reinstall of same rom). Besides its happening on all 3 droids I own (1 phone 2 tablets).
tried clearing market data, cache, force stop etc. no change.
On web store it says I don't own any apps
As for receipts I have it all in my gmail of course but I have to wait for goog to get back to me, the lack of customer service (e.g. I can't even call someone) is appalling IMO. I have over 30 paid apps so this is super annoying, and now I"m afraid to buy any more in meantime until its resolved lest it screw my account even more
Hey, this is my first post ever on XDA.
I just wanted to say that exactly the same thing has happened to me. I've bought around 50 apps on the market, and as of yesterday all of them started saying that I would need to pay in order to install them.
On the web store it says I don't own any apps, so I'm sure this has nothing to do with my individual device. It seems like a problem on the back-end. Maybe some glitches appeared in the system during the transition to Google Play?
Anyway, I'm stuck in the exact same boat that you are. I've reported the problem to Google via their support form, but aside from the automated response that you get when you first report a problem, I haven't heard anything back from them.
I also started wondering whether the problem might fix itself if I buy another app. But I'm also paranoid about making it worse somehow. Sigh...
---------- Post added at 01:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:25 AM ----------
Oh, by the way, I'm running an unrooted Galaxy Nexus with 100% stock firmware. So I really think this is issue has nothing to do with custom ROMs - I reckon the problem is entirely on Google's side.
Yep has to be if the web store is borked as well. Also under my apps, all, it sometimes throws 'error connecting to server [RPC]' or something like that
Two of my droids are custom (Atrix w/ ICS Cm9 beta, Samsung galaxy tab 7.7 w/ tweaked stock) but a third is stock unrooted (sony tablet S).
poor form from goog they really need to up their customer service, even if 'sorry we know there's an issue with XYZ and we're working on it'. I've also got 50+ apps lol
yup im having the same, I first thought it was due to my custom FW but seems unrooted stock folk are also having this problem. I made a thread about it a couple of days ago and again all having the same issue
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24026026#post24026026
what i found, is if i go to the web store and see my purchase history and click a product, it shows as purchased (like it should) but will not download when clicked, when using the search bar looking for the same app (my case both was titanium pro) it wanted me to purchase.
also, when you try to "re purchase" an app you already have, it will attempt to buy but you get an error, followed by 2 emails, a receipt immediately followed by a refunded email.
on an additional note, "play" has now been added to the black bar google home page above the search results in between maps ans youtube, so it seems they are messing with something
Anyone tried to connect to a 3g/wifi and manually sync your gmail account ? So far I observed is whenever I just wiped my phone. It will take awhile to fully synced back my email, contact, calendar and the last one which should be google market place.
Try don't take any attempts to make it work and let it be under internet connection and see if they will come back by their own. Just don't do any full wipe again, and performs a normal personal data restoration (like titanium backups). Let it be like 1 day normal usage with internet connectivity and see if those missing apps will appear back or not.
My personally experience is that I didn't actually take any action when I see them blank after full wipe. I proceed and busy with my gmail account login, sync back my contact and calendar, then performs titanium restoration and sms restoration. Eventually they just appeared after couple of hours or maybe 1 day or I dunno, I didn't actually care about it as I just know that they will come back to me and so far the app did appear back by its own in "My Apps" section.
none rooted stock phones are also having this problem, so im not sure its anything to do with wiping the cache and thanks, but thanks for the input.

Out of curiosity, have you tried purchasing an app that you didn't already have? What happens then?
I've been hit with this too. My apps on the website are completely gone. The orders are still there, thank god. So if google ever actually try and help I can prove I bought them.
All I did was clear cache and data in the play store on ICS because I couldn't download updates. Did they change clear data so it wipes EVERYTHING server side?
My playstore on my ICS xoom has a completely blank "my apps" page. If I try and update my apps it asks me to pay.
My nexus one on GB still uses a really old version of market (I froze the updater some time ago) and that's working fine at the moment. I can do updates ok too.
On my xoom I unistalled updates to pre "play store" re-brand (so plain old android market) and it shows all my apps and lets me update them without asking me to pay again. Next time I open it, I'm back on the play store with no apps listed in "my apps". So I uninstall updates again next time I need to use it. There doesn't seem to be an updater to freeze any more.
I daren't try buying any new apps in case that messes it up even more.
As a short term workaround try using an older version of the market. The one that works for me is 3.3.12.
I've tried going back to a nandroid from a couple of weeks ago, didn't work. I've wiped, flashed, market doctored, everything I could think of. No help. This is definitely server side.
I've sent emails to google but they haven't replied. I sent a few because there wasn't an option for "you deleted everything on my account for no reason."
"My playstore on my ICS xoom has a completely blank "my apps" page."
My playstore on my ICS Galaxy S2 had the same bug. I installed a free app, cleared my playstore and did a Restart. I don´t know why, but my apps are here again.

I know it sounds completely ridiculous, but my account has been wiped on the server. I've attached some screenshots. If you contact the titanium developer he might be able to send you the old version of the pro key. It's just a file you put on your sdcard. He's always been really helpful when I had issues.

I got a reply from Google Play Support, but it seemed like a canned response: it was mostly suggestions to try things I've already tried, such as logging in with the correct account, making sure I've upgraded to the latest version of the Play Store app, or doing a hardware reset of the device.
I replied with a more detailed explanation, and included several screenshots to illustrate the problem.
I also included a link to this thread. Hopefully someone at Google will realise that there's a problem on their side that needs to be fixed.
I haven't even gotten a single response short of the initial auto reply, and its nearly 72 hours. Pathetic really. If I was an apple customer and lost all my itunes purchases.......... GAH google get it sorted
Basically I have backups for about 130 different apps, games, etc. After I setup my ROM (Mahdi latest update) I used titanium backup pro to batch restore the apps. Just the apps, no data. So I was trying out xposed framework and saw instagram downloader. I thought it sounded cool so I set it up and installed it. I tried testing it by logging into instagram and trying to save a photo. Instagram crashed (fc) right off the bat. So I went back to the module page and saw the latest update was to make it compatible with instagram v5.1.4. So I went to play store and saw the version of the latest instagram version... 5.1.4. Here's the weird part. It only had 2 options. Open and uninstall, which led me to believe it was up to date. So I went to settings/apps/ instagram and I was running version 5.0.8. Back to play store and still no option to update. I had to uninstall it and install it back again to get the correct version.
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Currently going through all of my user applications and manually matching the app info version with play store version to see if any more are facing the same issue. This is my first issue using titanium on the phone so far (that I know about)
Similar to this today?

I'd say not really. That seems to be a sync issue. Just didn't recognize the purchase on the phone. Thanks for your reply, but I'll try to explain a little better.
Normally when you have an outdated app installed that is on the play store, if you visit that apps page on the play store you will (normally) see 2 options. Update or uninstall if I'm not mistaken. Or open and update. One of the 2. My issue is that after restoring instagram from titanium backup, the play store saw it as up to date. There was no option anywhere in the play store to update the application which was on 5.0.8. Correct version being 5.1.4. So because it saw it as updated for whatever reason I couldn't update it to correct version. I had to uninstall it and install it again to get the correct version.
So essentially;
Check instagram on play store to see if update is available for it. Says there is none and that all of my apps are up to date. Go to app settings and see instagram isn't really up to date. Go back to play store to confirm there is no update. There is no option to do so (play store thinks app is fully updated). Must uninstall it and when I install again it is up to date.
So naturally if it didn't recognize an update for one of my apps I'm assuming there's more. I always leave auto sync on, but I'll see if there was a sync error. I don't think that's it, however. Probably going to take this up in the tibu thread as well.
the play store doesnt see if you need updates right away, it can time time. when apps are released, one person can get/see an update a day or two after another, even though the app is updated for everyone. plus, if you just restored, the play store would have to sync first before you saw it as new.

The thing is the update(instagram) was released 9 days ago. I know updates take a few hours to push to the public after a developer releases it. I just tried to replicate it again by uninstalling it and restoring from titanium. Same issue. I'd had all my apps installed since the 13th. The day the latest mahdi update came out. It should have caught it in 6 days. :/
Still stumped.
Besides if that was the case that the update hadn't been pushed to the play store yet, it would still show 5. 0. 8. Not the new 5. 1. 4

If you read my OP that's exactly how I got it up to date....twice
I'm saying my issue is that the play store has recognized an application as up-to-date after being restored from tibu when it is indeed not up-to-date. Can't be because I didn't get the update pushed to play store yet, because the update is already on play store for me.
After trying a couple things it has become all too apparent that this is most likely an issue caused by titanium backup. I will continue to troubleshoot there from now on. Sorry, but I don't seem to be successfully getting my point across here. Thanks for all your replies, though.

na. i have memories of many times in the past 6 years when the version showing for me was the updated version, yet i was still on the older version, and didnt show me an update(especially with google app updates). at a later point that day i got the update. if you know that an app got an update, yet you didnt at that point, i bet itll still show you the version thats updated.
It's been at least 6 days since ROM install. 9 since instagram update. I wasn't on the latest version. There should have been an update button in the play store on instagrams page.
This is the first time ever seeing this since the Droid X, X2, stratosphere, toro galaxy nexus, n5... I never keep auto update on. Back in the X2 days an app got updated automatically and was no longer compatible with the phone. Just force closed. Couldn't roll back. Since then I always updated manually and kept an eye on app versions, etc. If I didn't pay attention to that stuff or try xposed I probably would have never noticed it.
right, but you also restored a backup. id think that would change things, until your phone resyncs everything, which isnt always right away also.
What exactly do you mean by syncing? In the last 6 days I've had quite a few play store notifications telling me there's updating to the following applications. I remember specifically, multirom, Google camera, ez weather, screen filter and ecodrive just off the top of my head. Instagram wasn't there. Yet I keep auto sync in and I checked after your first reply. There was no sync errors. Everything was checked off and refreshed within 40 minutes of checking. :/
So to confirm, you wiped data in play app? Do it again

Ironically, no and yes. I was messing around after I noticed that. I found an app called Recovery Tools on the play store. I figured I'd secure my data by flashing stock recovery and locking BL. Don't know why but I got the urge but I used to do it on my toro nexus. Anyways I made the mistake of locking my boot loader with boot unlocker and then flashed stock recovery. Phone went haywire. Tried a cache wipe from stock recovery but it did nothing. My phone booted, to my surprise but I was met with nonstop sysUI and gallery FC. I ended up having to scroll through my apps in between FC to open boot unlocker and unlock again. Then since I had no systemUI I had no home keys so i had to reboot again go back to the recovery tools app to flash my recovery backup I made before doing this. Long story short (too late) I had a bunch of stuff reset. Most of my system settings. Anything that had to do with systemUI. Even opened play store and was prompted to accept the terms of service again. Still showed no update for IG
I'm over it for now. Tonight I'll check my app info versions and match them with play store. Luckily xposed has a module to put a play store link in app info so it should be quicker!! Hahahaha
Anyways I'll bring it to the attention of the tibu dev in their thread if I find any more apps that aren't up to date on my phone, despite play store telling me they are
Does TB still have the break market link feature in settings? It's possible that got activated somehow. If it happens again go to menu. Then Market Docter. Market Update helper will also get you the update. Just some thoughts.
