[Q] Point of View Tablet 10" problem streaming sound threw Bluethooth - General Questions and Answers

Hello all
I have a PoW Tablet 10" that I'm running MoDaCo R8 Vegarom on. Point of View is, as I understand it, pretty mutch the same as Advent Vega. At least the vegarom runns smoothly on it.
Now. My problem is that I cant stream sound threw bluethooth when Im on WiFi. I have googled around and I'm not alone on this problem. It's very anoying as I want to use the tablet as a spotify client and stream the music threw Bluethooth to my stereo.
If i turn Wifi off the tablet pairs upp with my bluethooth unit (I have tried several different devices) but as soon as I turn Wifi back on it disconnects my bluethooth device.
I have two questions.
1. Have anyone found a solutions to this problem?
2. Will uppgrading to vegacomb solve my issue?
//Fredrik

[REQ] Phone --> Bluetooth Speaker

Ive been searching around but can't seem to find any apps that would do this. seems to me like it would be quite simple to do. anyone know o something similar to able to quickly put something together?
Main reason at the moment is that i currently have a long wire diagonaly across my room to connect my laptop to my speakers. I just thorght it would be realy good if i could plug my phone into my speakers and then send music to it via bluetooth. Im sure other people have been in this situation where an audio cable has not quite been long enough. I have also discovered that many people have TVs supporting bluetooth headsets who would love to be able to listen through their phone.
there is wifi option: twonkys media server. or xmbc which i have been pointed to however I have discovered I am unable to connect to the wireless due to security issues. battery life would also suffer more.
any thorghts on this?
Been a while, but did you have any luck?
I'm looking for a way to deploy my WinMo phone as a Bluetooth Audio Sink, i.e. receiving stereo music on it & relaying that through either its speaker or connected headphone.

[Q] Bluetooth + Wifi => choppy video

There is a huge thread about the same issue for the prime tablet, but I have it with my tf101.
If bluetooth speakers are used when streaming video over wifi, the video becomes very choppy and the sound is couple seconds behind. As soon as bluetooth is disabled everything goes back to normal in a second.
Is it a hardware issue?
Any ideas how to fix it?
I think it's an interference issue, but the odd thing is I just tried it with my old BT headset and had no problems. Maybe software? I'm rooted and running the stuff in my signature btw, perhaps the custom kernel and rom I flashed fixed something, or I never had the issue in the first place.

I'm having the same problem. I also have the problem that youtube won't output to my bluetooth speakers (Creative D200) and it causes nothing to output to the speakers after trying. This is true even after unpairing and turning bluetooth off and back on. This is not an issue on my Android phone (Galaxy S3), though the video streaming lags while outputting to bluetooth, just not as badly as on the TF101. I guess it has to do with the bluetooth audio codec used in the speakers (aptX).
Which bluetooth speakers are you using?

[Q] Problem with bluetooth connection.

Hi.
I had some problems with disconnections from wifi router. I could watch video or TV only for a few seconds sometimes longer, then info pop out wifi disconnected and sometimes bluetooth either.
Was trying to find what the problem is I did disconnect stereo bluetooth. And it seems to be that.
My T699 is on untoched T-mobile firmware 4.1.2 now (not rooted.. yet
I believe before update was better, but I am not 100% sure.
So my question is - how to go back to previous Android?
I can see in wiki that everytime there is some improvements regarding bluetooh, but... it seems not for me.
Headset is Nokia BH 214 which is for sure good.
Any other solution or sugestions would be helpfull.
Thanks

[Q] Bluetooth reconnecting every 10 minutes

Hi all,
Been reasonably happy with the z3 so far but I'm having problems with Bluetooth connectivity, specifically in my car. I'm used to an iphone, which works flawlessly, but the z3 only seems to be able retain a connection for 10 mins before slowly reconnecting. It's become frustrating as it restarts some of my tasker profiles(?).
Has anyone else had similar issues? Are there any known fixes for this?
I've tried turning off stamina, wifi, bluetooth timeout, display timeout, re-pairing my device - nothing has helped!
Cheers,
Russ

The normal Stamina mode (not ultra) won't disconnect any connection just limit background process.
This can be bug in firmware So try to repair it by PC companion
+ and a question; is this happen with another bluetooth devices or just with car?
cause if it happen with car it can be software compatibility & ...
Thanks for the reply. I thought I would update.
I did try checking for firmware updates but I found a different solution shortly after. I downloaded the 'Xperia Z1 Bluetooth Fix' from the google play store, installed it and selected the Tune2Air device (when it was in range). Since then I've had no reconnecting problems! I have no idea what the app has done but it has completely solved the issues I was having. I suggest giving it a go if you are having similar symptoms. :good:

I get this all the time, constant every couple of seconds when connected to my Mercedes Comand unit..
I will download this app and test it out, hopefully it sorts it.
I have Volvo V40 and when I step in my car with my bluetooth on, I see on my Z3 Bluetooth connect and then disconnect. This repeats all the time. When I then disable bluetooth and enable, the problem is gone. I don't know for sure, but what I have see on my car's phone menu, although I get these disconnects on my phone , the disconnects are not noticed by my car. But again, I didn't look into that yet. Do you have similar problems?
Hi all,
Great to know im not crazy bcuz im having the same issues in my toyota as the volvo. My phone automatically tries to pair & sometimes this works flawlessly, yet other times it connects, stalls, then spends an age tring to reconnect & all the while the cars head unit still perceives a connection. What i hav noticed is that i get great connections (fast & from where i left off) when i pause before switching off my car. If i dont pause then i need to manually connect even if the phone says its pairing with my car. Iv come from a nokia n8 which worked flawlessly however i could not control the volume from the phone which i can do from the z3 & i was wondering if the problem could be with either the phone or stereo having conflicting memory of what was last played, volume level , etc. As there must be data stored somewhere on either or both devices.
Look at this page for an explanation of Sony, seems to be a problem from the bluetooth version of the car:
https://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xper...s-connecting-disconnecting/td-p/853609/page/2
I dont think its necessarily the car as the problem i outlined is resolved if i pause the playing music before cutting power. I should correct an earlier comment. My problem is with playing music from my phones harddrive via a player such as the native music player, vlc music player, music visualiser, etc rather than streaming music so im not sure what peolpe using cloud services or internet radio can do.
Does anyone know why pausing the music before leaving the car is necessary when in my experience using bluetooth 3.0 didnt require this?

Help using a tablet together with a phone in a car

Hello!
I hope getting some help & ideas for a new idea I'm trying to use in my car.
I have an old Volvo, with next to no modern entertainment options, meaning a factory built-in radio (neither DIN nor Double-DIN), with no bluetooth or anything fancy. A good radio with a really good sound and equalizer (DolbySorround), but that's it. And a seperate navigation system with no online connectivity or recent updates what so ever (last update is from 2014 for a nice 300.-€).
My idea would be:
Tablet (in my case a Fire HD8, unlocked, rooted and with LineageOS 14)
Phone (Xiaomi Mi Mix2, as well with LineageOS, but LOS16)
Bluetooth receiver from Aukey (that I can wire in with the equalizer)
So far, so good. But here comes the problem:
I want to do some things on the tablet, like navigation, music streaming and calls. Is it possible, to connect phone and tablet in a way, I could start the music (Amazon, Google and my own Nextcloud) from the tablet, where in reality the phone makes the connection and "sends" the sound to the tablet (and from there the tablet to the BT audio receiver) or directly to the BT audio receiver, as long as I can control that from the tablet. Or the navigation (tablet) can use the internet connection from the phone. And last thing, I want to make or receive calls on the phone, but I would like to control that from the tablet as well.
I think you get the idea, what I'm trying to do here.
I'm really not sure how to start, the hardware is already here, but I'm willing to buy other stuff, as long as it works afterwards.
Any ideas or input is very welcome, I'm a little stuck here. Thanks a lot in advance!
