Camera "Infrared" Stuck - HTC Inspire 4G

Hey,
I'm running MIUI 9.30, and my camera is stuck in some form of 'infrared', similar to posterization. i've tried soft reset, full wipe, downloading camera app, nothing. Any suggestions?
EDIT:
Simple fix. After dropping the phone, the camera lens was jarred loose, and needed to be pressed back in.

Wierd Screen Issue

Hi,
I've flashed my phone (HTC Touch Pro) with Hardspl and then the latest Energy ROM.
Everything went perfectly and I was impressesd with how simple and easy it was and how much difference the ROM made to the phone.
Today, while using the camera, the screen went blank.
I tryed turning the phone off, pulling battery and a hard reset but its still the same.
Even after hard reset, the screen is blank but if i press the power button, on the second press, I get a flash of whats on the screen and then it goes blank again.
Should I try to reflash the phone again?
I've searched but not found the same issue
Thanks
The touch screen is still working and sometimes i can see the display, but its very dark and hard to read. Is the flex cable that needs changing?
Why would it stop working so suddenly?
Should i take it apart to reseat it?
Ok, I've found the same issue in a few other peoples phones but they seem to have beeen resolved by sendin the phone back under warantee.
I dont have that option unfortunatly so need to find a fix.
The only thing wrong with the phone is the screen backlight that suddenly failed
Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction please? I cant find a definite diagnosis anywhere
New Flex cable?
New Screen?
Pray?
Thanks
Back to stock SPL and stock ROM
Still no luck

Help - Screen stays black even after reset!

Today I noticed I couldn't hear incoming calls, but they could hear me.
I have cyanogenmod 9 alpha 3 release, and tried reformatting, and reinstalling alpha 5 to no avail. Even called tmo to check if it was a network issue with no luck. Then I noticed my screen go shut off upon opening the keyboard. It would go on and off as if the connection was loose. Now it is permanently off so I followed the directions to factory reset through hardware buttons and am pretty sure it did reset. However, this will just keep me stuck at the recovery mod screen as I know from previous wipes.
My questions are the following:
Is my phone gg'd?
If I hook up a tv out cable to the audio jack, will I be able to see the screen on a tv for reformating to stock rom for tmo replacement?
If I send in my phone with a dead screen, will they know I installed a custom rom and tell me this was my fault?
That's about it.
Thanks.

[Q] HELP: screen unresponsive when woken up ONLY

This issue make absolutely no sense to me, and only started yesterday.
First, I am stock, unrooted, no mods, no crazy sideloaded apps, just a good old Nexus 5.
When I go to wake the phone, I have noticed that the lock screen is 100% unresponsive. I cannot enter a pattern lock. I then switched to a PIN lock, thinking maybe there was an issue with the pattern. Again, unresponsive screen. So I took my screen lock off completely, thinking there is maybe an issue with the lock screen in general. Again, even with no lock screen, I cannot swipe screens, open apps, nothing. This also includes the soft keys at the bottom.
I decide to factory reset my phone. I update only my Google apps, and again notice the same issue. The screen is totally unresponsive, but then 2 white lines will flash at the top, and the screen will work.
Once those white lines flash, the screen is completely responsive like normal, there are no other issues until the phone goes to sleep again. Sometimes the little lines flash 2 seconds after waking up, sometimes 30 seconds, sometimes I have to hard reset the phone.
I also am linking to a YouTube video that I recorded of the issue in case I am not making sense.
So can anyone explain this to me? What could cause this issue on a phone that has never been rooted or flashed or anything?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Weird. Issue. Maybe you should stick everything from your sd to your pc.
And flash a factory image from fresh install from here - https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images - if you're lucky the drivers maybe corrupt and not the hardware
Sent from my Android 5.0 Nexus 5
Could also be a loose connection. Maybe the flex cable to from your screen wiggled its way out a bit. I've never seen that before on any phone. I'd back everything up and flash a factory image. If the issue persists, contact Google and see if you can RMA the device.

Cameras not working anymore :(

Hi there!
I'm fixing my friend's Oukitel K6000.
I replaced the screen, power & vol flex cable and when I switched the phone on, it doesn't recognize the cameras anymore (don't know whether it did before the screen was cracked).
Tried everything: all tricks which can be found with Google search, replaced the main camera, made the factory reset, reflashed the ROM. Still there's no camera app available (they've also disappeared from settings). When I'll make tests @ the boot section, everything else works except the cameras. It gives an error "adckIFInit Fail"
Is there anything else to be done? Is the main board damaged and time to buy a new one?
I'd be very grateful if someone could help me with this issue. Thanks in advance!

S7 reboots when opening the camera (foreground and background)

Hello everyone,
I have a Galaxy S7 G930U and it was out of warranty.
I searched the internet and I could see that so many people have had the same issue, not only the S7 but also other galaxy phones. I tried all the solutions available on the internet but still couldn't solve the problem
I was exposed to a light rain (I didn't have to use an umbrella) while it was in my pocket
1/ Opening the camera app, the phone, the camera app fails -> the phone freezes and reboots immediately -> after the reboot, the OS loads the camera in the background (I don't touch anything and let it boot up normally itself) -> the phone freezes again and reboot -> it booploops for several times until it's usable again
2/ what I have tried:
- Clearing the caches of gallery, camera app, clearing the Cache partition and factory reset in recovery mode, forced reboot by Vol -down + Power, booting in safe mode -> all of them couldn't fix the problem or just the phone was partially usable for a while until it happened again
- Navigated to Developer options -> Inactive apps -> inactivate the camera -> sometimes it worked but sometimes it didn't. I mean it prevented the bootloop unless I opened the camera again
- factory reset in recovery mode: it even bootlooped during the initial setup wizard -> it took me 6-7 times to finish the wizard due to the reboot during selecting the options
- Hard reboot by Vol-down + power -> sometimes, it was fixed but now this doesn't work anymore
- I took out the sim and SDcard tray and left it open for exactly 2 days. No improvement
- I tried to use my phone without the SDcard, nothing changed
- I left the default mode of the camera app in the rear camera and sometimes the camera worked. As soon as I switched to the front camera, it failed
- I tried to press the areas around the camera, tap continuously, shake the phone. Nothing happened
- checked for updates but no update was available
- I also noticed while I was entering the recovery mode, it said: "No command" (never happened before). It let it run for 30 seconds without touching, it successfully booted up to the recovery. This has happened all the time since then
bootloops
My current workaround to stop the bootloop is to clear the camera app data and never turn it on + inactivate the camera in developer options
Please help!!! This issue is very severe and makes me angry. I wonder why I bought this phone in the first place with this kind of issue. It's no longer a normal phone anymore
Thank you
If the rain caused the problem you could try using Isopropyl alcohol to clean the water residue off the board which could be causing the problem

hello, thank you for your answer, unfortunately, I'm not able to open up the phone myself, none of my friends can also do that. when I bring it to a phone repair shop or samsung, they may refuse to do what you suggest and recommend a full mainboard replacement. This may cost more than the phone itself. I'm don't really know what to do now
