First of all, submit your question in the right area. You say you have a Galaxy II, and you want to 'root' it? Click on the link below to find the perfect place to start...

Follow the instructions there carefully, and if you have any more questions, ask them in the section devoted to your phone...

You can delete bloat apps (like AT&T's) if you root, and you will be sim-unlocked. Google for "attn1 aahk."

All what bananagranola said, and find all the information you need in the guide in my signature. S-OFF gives you total control of your device from removing bloatware to changing the rom, besides changing radios, bootanimations and so on...
The Hack Kit link is in the guide...
I have 2 Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G phones that are locked to T-Mobile. I have never tried to unlock a cellphone at all. I hope that this post isn't a violation of any of the posting rules. I have read through many of the threads about my phones. What I want to do is this. I want to unlock my 2 phones so that I am able to use them on Straight Talk. Is there anyone who would be kind enough to tell me step by step what I need to do to unlock my phones so I am able to do this. I don't know if I need to root them or what ever. I need someone who will give me the instructions step by step. I don't understand the radio things or any of that but I can follow directions. Thank You in advance.
Whats up guys Im new to the forums Im not sure if this is the right spot for this topic but iv just only recently figured out about rooting. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon, could any specify me to a page or something where I can find out how to root this phone or to files that I need to root this phone. What are the perks of rooting I already know some, plus will this void my warranty, and is it true that if u unroot your phone before sending it in to your carrier for whatever reason they wont find out you rooted your phone? Thanks for the help to whoever replies.

You can find everything if you make a little search.
See here:
S5 development
And I find a rom, see it's easy.

And for root, root it like other S5 devices.

HTC E9+ Indian edition - Rooting
Hello Dear Members,
I have just purchased HTC E9+ Indian edition and was unable to find any thing on web for rooting this model of phone.
May be because its new phone and hence might take time. However i know when we root initially we have to unlock boot loader and this wipes the phone. So wanted to check that if there is any possibility as I have started using the phone and it will be difficult later.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Tried my best but was not able to find any thread which would be suitable for this hence posting here. Sorry if i posted at wrong place.

Due to US models unlocking the bootloader is not possible. Rooting methods is some what limited.
You can check out S8+ rom section for possible rooting methods. Start with checking threads from jrkruse.
