PSX Emulator Multi disc games

How does the PSX Emulator handle multi disc games? I assume theres a point in a game where it asks to insert "Disk Two"
I believe you just save your state when it asks to insert the next disc, then open the next file and load that saved state.

[Q] Gameboid - dropbox

hi guys and girls!
i have been using the gameboid emulator to play pokemon (ahh childhood memories ). but the problem is: i put the rom into a dropbox folder, so everytime i navigated to the dropbbox folder, clicked on the rom (its a .zip file) and chose open with gameboid. i saved the game via gameboid.
now i want to trade pokemon, so i needed the save game to transfer it on my pc. but the problem: there is no save game in the dropbox folder and there is also no folder on the sd card that would have the save game in it.
i tried saving the game in game, this generated a .sav file in the folder on my sd card (where the gameboid bios file is) but when i use this save game its not working on the pc emulator (using VBA). it just started right from the beginning as if there was no save at all.
i think this has something to do with playing out of dropbox... any help would be greatly appeciated...
ps: i also tried to import the .sav file via battery save, but i did not work, it loaded correctly but it started the game, as there was no savegame at all (right from the beginning)

[Q] How do wii, or can wii play Super Smash Flash 2?

Hey everybody!!
I want to know if there's a way to play Super Smash Flash 2 on our awesome Android phones. When I open it in the mobile browser, of course it opens and all, but it's not really playable. I probably need a physical keyboard. This is why I hate touch phones. Where the keyboards at? Sorry, off topic.
Anyways,
There is a download, but it's an .exe download. I want to know if there's anyway we can emulate this flash game on our phones and play it.
I know there's an app that let's us play .swf, which are flash movies. But I want to play a flash game.
Here's a link to it to view it or play it. =.P

That is all. =.P

I'm actually a developer of SSF2 (small world, huh?) & I've dabbled around with playing SSF2 on my Droid RAZR using apps that have onscreen buttons. You can download the mac version and unzip it on the root of your SD Card and the game will play (make sure you have the data folder in the root of the SD) - however since it's not optimized for mobile (or even close...) it runs at crazy low speeds and is almost unplayable.

[Q]Stream non steam game?

Hello
I don't use steam. I bought games in store.
Is that possible to stream non steam game?
i haven't gotten mine yet but last i heard it either has to be detected in GFE or you can add non-steam games thru steam.
If you add a non-Steam game to your Steam Library (which is very simple and you can find out how to here), you can play it on the Shield by launching Steam in big picture mode. I've done it with a couple games, such as Hawken.

Can you run an emulator on the PC and stream it to Nvidia shield in this manner? I was thinking of emulators that maybe don't run too well on android but do so on the PC.

I can confirm dolphin works great for gamecube games! I have dolphin setup to my 360 controller,
when i started a game thru steam the shield buttons worked exactly like 360 setup.

If you could add a bit to this Google Doc we're working on (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Al_tgDiSllFFdGhJQ3p3d1JDTU0wS3IyNjVxdDB6MVE) about Dolphin it would be greatly appreciated

It's not working for me. I have the shortcuts setup and work fine in big picture mode without the shield. But when the shield is streaming and I go to launch a gamecube game, nothing happens.....
Other non-steam shortcuts work fine on my Shield, like Halo 2. How are your shortcuts setup?

2 ways to link gamecube roms to shield.
Method 1 is to use a batch file or some other script which launches dolphin with your rom, find a utility to compile it to an exe (steam will only trigger EXE files) and set steam to load that. I never got any of the old batch to exe utilities working but did get ironPython working to do the same.
Method 2. Just set steam to open dolphin and manually select a ROM. Probably wont work for big picture (I havent tried nor do I own a shield)

Funny enough, the batch file isn't working for me....
But just opening dolphin does, using the touchscreen to select a game with the mouse.

I had a friend who had a reasonable amount of success with the batch file option. Steam will only open EXE files normally so you do have to find a batch to EXE tool, but the only ones I can find now are either confirmed malware ridden, broken on modern versions of windows or both.
The basis of the method is you write a batch file which simply calls [path to dolphin] [path to rom] on the command line, when its run it should fire up dolphin with that rom no problem.
I did get ironPython to open Chrome on my PC once, steam was then able to call the ironPython EXE fine.
Did find a 3rd method last night. Add dolphin.exe to steam. Right click it, go into properties, add the path to your rom as a command line option. Limits you to 1 rom though and I couldnt get steam to let me add dolphin to steam multiple times without copying multiple instances of dolphin onto my computer.
Seems like the regular open dolphin > select game from shield method might be best for now.
Will be great when the dolphin for android port is complete, that is if the shield can run it (shields powerful but you do need a fair old amount of power to emulate a gamecube)
No Sound
