Is there an app in android that's like garageband? What about an app that at least is like smart instrument?
I would love this. But it's not likely.
There's not even a program close to being like garage band for windows.....
It's crazy!
Fl studio is in development for android

I was disappointed to find out that I couldn't use the keyboard dock to control any of the Android games, the arrow keys would definitely be useful in the driving games (bang bang racing, t-racer) and in the RPG games such as Pocket Legends. Anyone know if this is possible in any way?

You should contact the developers of this games.
this are the games that i have that support the keyboard:
reckless racing, pewpew, switch, cordy , riptide, cars and guns
Somebody know some more games?

if you don't mind me asking why were you disappointed? Did you buy the tf thinking you got a laptop? Did you not consider that this is the only android device that has a keyboard and that development have had no incentive at all to build in KB support?
well using a keyboard as a game controller is fair enough expectation.

The keyboard works very well with Gameboid and other emulators.
Hopefully morexapp developers will jump on board with using alternate input methods

Just to be technical: there are Android devices with a "Keyboard". The Motorolla Droid and most sequals, my mother's Motorolla Charm, the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide (and 4G Slide). I think even the G1 had a keyboard. To apps it should be the same thing as our dock.
But as GI points out, it's not a laptop--in practice everyone develops their stuff for a TOUCH SCREEN! That's the Lowest Common Denominator among Android devices and one you absolutely must have, keyboard support is just a really cool plus for the occasional freak.

riptide shine runner emulators
You seem like you're looking for a laptop, not an android tablet with a keyboard dock.
But yes, developers should consider slide out keyboards and docks as they are gaining in popularity.

please no dubstep unless you are in the uk
If it has MIDI export, then yes. FL studio natively supports FLP projects. I Never used MMM since 4
Cubase is CPR AFAIK, so I don't think so, it will natively work, but as I said, If the app has MIDI export, then you'll able to use the MIDIs.
I use FL since 7, so I hope the FL Mobile comes out soon to Android and it will be compatible with the Desktop Version - in means of projects.
thanks for the help. not gonna do dubstep lol. i wanna see if i can do anything decent with strings or piano. think Henry Gregson Williams or Kenji Kawai.
i also hope FL comes out sometime soon. i have an iPod Touch, but I'd rather use my Transformer.

Is there any non-Honeycomb tablet out there that has had this hacked onto it someway? I'm specifically trying to find out for the Amazon Kindle Fire. It works great on there but it takes up pretty much half of the 1024x600 display.
I'm guessing that Swype is popular enough and there are enough Android 2.3 tablets out there that someone has asked this.
Would like this too

So, Fez has been launched on the Xbox LIVE marketplace (saw the GameTrailers review) and it looks awesome.
Due to its rather simplistic aesthetic, it should be able to run on handheld devices as well.
What you reckon guys? Should more devs (the ones who work on XBLA and PSN titles) work on mobile platforms too?

I'd probably buy it on mobile. Maybe someone should contact the developer.

Actually one of the points of the by-now-vaporware PS Suite was to encourage cross-development by giving a common SDK for Vita and Android games.
Fez isn't coming to psn though, is it?

Yeah, it would make a great mobile game. However, I am sure any game dev worth their salt has already considered this 10 times over. They just better not do what Super Meat Boy mobile is doing and change the controls/gametype.
Super meat boy won't be coming to Android though, right?

What?? ios apps running on android? i wonder how much drama apple will create if this is released
http://androidcommunity.com/cycada-makes-ios-apps-run-on-android-devices-20140821/
nice but they never went any further with it just a nice project
It would be a great improvement for Android to make all apps universal.
