[REQ] Proximity sensor app to disable screen on various apps.

Is there an app that can monitor the proximity sensor based on a user defined list of apps and turn off the screen?
For example; the US T-Mobile Visual Voicemail app is nice to have, BUT when you place the phone to your ear (to listen to the voicemail) it may tap the close icon or activate something. It definitely needs the auto screen off feature.
Add in the ability to also use the g-sensor and when the phone is upside down (or sideways) and the proximity sensor (or light sensor) is triggered, put the phone to sleep. This would be triggered when the phone is about to be placed into my pocket.
I agree. I find that if I put the HD2 up to my ear to hear a Visual Voicemail message, I invariably hit the screen with some part of my ear which stops playback and often initiates deleting the recording. Surely there is a way to activate the proximity sensor while running this app?
it will be nice to fring o r numbuzz too

[Q] Llama suggestions?

I've recently downloaded Llama and am amazed that this app is free! I've set up the basics (turn on/off Wi-Fi when I enter/leave home/work, go on vibrate at work, etc.), but do you gents/ladies have any personal suggestions or tips on events I can set up to grease the wheels of my day-to-day grind?
Llama is a must have free app if you don't already use the paid app Tasker. Using cell towers as a battery-free location service is a great idea and more apps are starting to use that now.
My favorite uses for Llama are saving battery by toggling auto sync and fixing a pet peeve of mine: plugging in headphones and not realizing the volume is too loud. Second one is a bit tricky and needs to work in conjunction with the Sound Profiles you've already set up for Day/Night etc.Lastly, you can also use it as an easy way to change the brightness automatically throughout the day.
ex.
Auto-Sync
-When using Battery, Disable Account Sync
-When Charging, Enable Account Sync
Volume Control
-When any wired headset is connected - Change Profile to Headphones
-At Home between (Set Time){when wired headset is disconnected} Change Profile to Normal
-At Home between (Set Time){when wired headset is disconnected} Change Profile to Quiet
Am I the only one with the current bug that allows calls through even when I'm in silent mode? If it works for you what version of llama are you on?

Latest version and no such issue. There is the option to set certain contacts as "Noisy" and they will ring anyways even when silent.
Edit your Silent profile and make sure your ringtone and notification volume is set to 0.
some aids i use:
temp mute phone when using camera
start music when headset connect
kill musicplayer when headset disconnect
silent at work
only wifi at home
no problems with calls on silent

[APP]AdvancedNFCSystem The only app that restores the status after the disconnection

Advanced NFC System allows you to :
- activate the bluetooth
- activate the wifi
- activate the data connection
- keep the screen on
- launch an application
- set to silent mode
- set to vibration mode
- set to normal mode and set the ringer volume
- delete the contents of a NFC tag
- read the contents of a NFC tag
- verify the presence of the NFC device within the phone
Possible uses:
By placing NFC tags on the car navigator holder you can start your preferred navigator app simply by placing the phone in the holder.
Turn bluetooth on while being in the car without risking to forget it activated, it will be automatically disabled when you disconnect the tag.
Activate the silent mode at night, the disconnection of the tag will be resetted to the previous settings.
Activate the vibration mode in the office without forgetting to restore the ringer-tone status when you step away from your desk.
The application can be used with the tags placed in the meeting room to mute the ringer-tone for all participants.
Disabling functionality takes about a minute from the moment the tag has been disconnected.
If you make a call during this minute deactivation will be halted and resumes when the call ends.
Give us a hint about your favourite NFC app use in the comments.

How to fix microphone auto turn off while recording

My rom is Cm 4.2.2 created by blindump, Can someone tell me how to fix this. This is information from Easy Voice Recorder app
" parts of my recording become silent!
Some devices turn their microphones off*when their screens go off, and Easy Voice Recorder cannot detect this on every device. For these devices, you will need to force the screen to remain on while Easy Voice Recorder is recording. You can do this by going to Settings->Advanced and setting “Keep awake while recording” to “Allow dimmed screen” or “Leave screen on”

[APP][2.3+] pickRingStop: Pick up your phone to stop ringing

*** This app might not work properly on Lollipop devices (Android 5.x) when Do Not Disturb is active ***
This app silences the ringtone of an incoming call when you pick up your device from a standstill location, say from a table. Also you can enable to silence the ringtone by waving over the phone.
The app uses accelerometer reading to detect pick up motion and proximity sensor reading to detect wave motion. It is advised to change the "Pick sensitivity" if necessary. No service is constantly running, hence this app won't drain any battery.
Permissions:
READ_PHONE_STATE: allows to detect incoming call. The app doesn't store the call details.
Do Not Disturb access: required to change ringtone volume when phone is in DND mode.
Internet access: used only to display ads.
