If anyone would like to try ICS on our Mytouch here you go. Texting and phone work, but not much else. Maybe someone can build on it. Ported from the devs in the Desire HD section, all the work is there's, I just wanted to try it on.
Instructions.
Have a back up handy, this is just to play with. Repeat, have a backup available.
Wipe system, cache, delvic cache.
flash rom, and then immediately flash lordmod zip at the same time, before any boot attempt. let it settle in a few minutes, then play.
when your done playing, restore your current rom.

yeah sorry dude I'm just wary of people posting ROMs whos name I don't recognize. I did, however recognize the Absolution, and people seemed to like it.

Lordmod is another kernel, cause I don't do kernels, and the kernel needs a mod. This is just to play with, someone else can develop it if they want. So to me it just general.

It's not really the right kernel, so if someone could build a kernel with the mods in it, it would be much better. I think data, gps, and wifi would work.

Right now I've been using Nocturnal's Xplod Rom. Its alright just that bluetooth doesn't work every once in a while and it over-heats. So I was wondering and wanted some of your opinions of which is the best rom you've ever seen. Thanks for helping

Well Mikshifted-G always made weather FC and I haven't tried UKE, I'll give it a go , thanks
UKE is tough man! That's my daily right now. I've tried almost all of them out there for da shift and they all have an upside. U really can't go wrong, they r all fun!

There's 2 versions of Mikshifted-G. I didn't realize this until I flashed it yesterday. I think 1.75 is posted here but if you go on themikmik.com there is a version 2.0. I did notice some bugs (fn space does not bring up symbols) with it that I will be reporting on there.

There's are quite a few versions of MikShifted G. The latest being v2.0 as you figured out. The link in the OP has always lead to the page on the MikMik with the latest versrsion. Also, the FN spacebar issue is a know bug that's being looked into.

Did you do a Full Wipe before flashing the Rom? Were you using a theme?

Well for me IT IS...along with most of the other roms.
ROM manager always switches for me. All the roms will be free one day and the next day they won't. Which is why I never use ROM manager. Its to buggy

A couple updates have been made (MikShift v2.1, Supreme Sense v9.1) and newSENSE is out, just to name a few. Yeah there is an upside to all the ROMs (they're rooted lol), best thing to do is try them all and find the one that works how you want it to (or customize so it does).

Well MikRunny just got a new kernel thanks to drob. So all USB funtions are now working. Also, a new Supreme Sense should be out very soon

4G may be made to work in the future, but I would not count on it. It will take an enormous amount of work to get 4G working on this Rom. It was originally not a Sprint Rom, to get it this far has taken a ton of work. Honestly the Rom is BA. I don't have much 4G coverage where I am, so it's not a deal breaker.
I live in the heart of a 4G hotspot.. maybe that's why I've become so dependant on it xc

Yes that is the command to get a logcat . Nice to see the work happening in one place although I have to say I'm feeling pessimistic about this.

Well, IMO, if we get Jelly Bean we would be lucky. HTC won't support a device that long especially that it wasn't "Current-Gen" when it was released. At least since we are sure that we will get ICS, that means HTC will release the kernel source and as there's little difference in the kernel between ICS and JB, I guess we will have a fully working ROM in the coming months.

Don't worry about official JB .. it would come with Sense anyway. Nexx and co have you covered for updates which are always quick
It’s time to learn how to get a logcat now!
Is it not possible to port from the Nexus S? I know proxuser has done it before. It probably can't since it hasn't been done but I'm curious as to why.
Going to take me at least a half hour, will have to test tomorrow.

I used his Cleanrom on my Rezound. Good roms and he updates the. Often with new features and quickly fixes bugs.
I recommend them, just have to keep up with it over on his site as he does not use XDA anymore.

Glad to see he is now making ROM's for the S3.:victory: I loved his Clean ROM DE Senseless on my Rezound. Now all ne needs to do is make it with apex launcher and stock unlock screen for that stock look. :fingers-crossed:

I'm just happy we have another Rom available... I love Synergy and Beans roms but I'm a crack flasher.
Im Scott and I did not approve this post.

I do post on XDA and I post frequently.
I have two ROMS out that are NOT on XDA... Yet... ONe will be tonight.
I have a friend that runs another Dev site and he has helped me out a lot learning things I didint know.
I am posting my NEW work exclusively to his website for the first week to try and help him get his website rolling.
Noobs have nothing to do with anything. I like working with newbs.

I wouldn't mind trying this. But, every other ROM says don't wipe system (I think that's the one I usually go check before installing a new one) and I think the original Turbo said wipe everything? I'm not sure about it, but I think I might try this out (unfortunately, Katana isn't getting any updates).
Did anyone flash it, if so what did ya notice that's different, especially if you've used previous versions of zeus hd, pro's and con's, or comparisons from it verses katana?
