Battery calibration with nandroids? - HTC Sensation

Ok so like after you flash a new Rom your battery is really bad until. a few cycles right ? Does that also apply to nandroids that were used for over a week ? I would think it doesnt but just wanted to make sure does anyone know ??
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda premium

I don't think it applies to nandroid backups since the batterystats is located in the system and the backup backs up system.

Try disabling superuser logging. And it will take a while.

Also, you will run into a problem with cracked versions of this app.

Idk that's how it is. I even tried it myself by finding that app and trying to install the rom. I kept getting that boot.img error. So I bought that app and I say its well worth it. Its kinda laggy with some roms but that's because its running straight from the sdcard.

It is supported, I was emailing the developer and asked him why it wasn't on the list and he told me that the code for the sensation is there and that some Sensation users were experiencing minor problems. It worked perfectly for me. When CM or MIUI is released, that's where I'm going to be using the app mostly.

Its a faster way to switch between roms, instead of using nandroid.

Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
Nandroid is the only way to back up your complete ROM. Titanium is great to back up apps and settings. Nandroid, you need CW recovery to do this.

I'm asking because I wanted to use the software that Navigon has made for downloading and backing up your Navigon software with. And the fact that it doesn't work disturbs me like hell.
And I wanted to know if someone has managed to use it and to see if it's on my end where the trouble is or if I had missed something.

A stupid question but then again, i am a stupid person

I have seen this already on this forum but im too stupid to find it so here goes:
I would like to flash a custom rom now but then in a week/two weeks when htc rolls the official update to ics, id like to have the official htc update, how do i do that?
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA Premium App
Just flash the official update when it comes out, it will fully wipe the phone and bring it up to date with all the latest HTC bells&whistles.

Just don't root stay on stock. Easy answer.
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda premium
Or I suppose you could flash a custom ROM now, and then, when HTC releases the official ICS ROM, restore your nandroid backup of the original HTC Rom, restore the apps using Titanium Backup, and then update using the official HTC update (which will be OTA I guess?).
That would work right?

[HELP] Volume+ with HTC Sensation

Hello guys, I'm new user here (long time reader) and I cannot get Volume+ to get working with my Sensation. When I installed the app it said that I have to go to Settings>Music Effects and tick Volume+ to get it working, however I cannot seem to find it. I'm running everything stock. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,
As with any changes you make to your phone.
Make a nandroid first.
Yes, I know, nandroid requires root, doesn't it?
