So i just came from the hd2 and i liked the music player on it. The evo's player is way different and im not happy with it. is there a way to get the hd2s or similar player layout?
Video.. what program can i get that will play mp4 avi and all the other codecs?
Do i need to root to be able to do any of this? or can i install some app?
any help would be nice.

Rockplayer wotks with most codecs, but is still in beta.

What about the video player? I can't get some of my mp4 videos to play on my EVO. I will get sound but no picture.
guys for some reason i cannot get either of these media players to play any videos, they both go to open a video, then jump back to the file explorer i started out trying .AVI videos but decided to try .3GP as its a native codec in android, even though the default gallery app can play the .3GP videos, rockplayer and Vplayer cannot anyone else having the same issues or is it just me

I use mvideo player and that works a treat.

will it play all my .AVI videos? i cant be bothered converting them all to .3GP haha

Rockplayer latest version is working perfect for me...
Even with placebo streaming from my pc
Use moboplayer. It'll allow you to watch everything, including mkv files that have subtitles. I use it for anime and movies.
Although, some of my files won't play right if they're mkv in 720p.. the rest are fine

I had loads of issues with Rockplayer and Vplayer. I'm using ArcMedia now, works flawlessly. Plays flv files downloaded from YouTube etc. Also plays srt subtitles.
Moboplayer will also play embedded .ass subs.

I just install dice player and i use lucky patcher
and when i open dice player and play mkv movie with subtitle
i almost cant hear voices and music from the movie even the
media player volume is in max
is there any problem with the dice player 1.9.9?

Recommend two players, VLC and VidOn player, they can play Blu-ray movies and they support FTP Server, Samba, UPnP, etc.
Can anybody tell me how can I play online videos from websites in ucbrowser via Mx Player?
I've kitkat 4.4.2 on my phone. I Can't use flash player that's why I need mx player to play online videos.
