As far as I know there isn't any option for this problem
even in the system settings of the phone (the ones you can enter with different codes in the dialer)
Me to had the problem of a wrong orientation of the sensor
the only thing that helped was to put my sg3 on a flat surface schutdown and boot up sometimes more than 1 reboot was required (still on the flat surface)
if you flash a new rom the problem will probably be solved
Some apps have an option in the settings to calibrate the sensor within that app

Try GPS Status, it's free on the market.

Does that app not only calibrate the sensor for the app itself or for the whole phone?

But galaxy mini have this option on it's setting by default..

I don't think you opened it by a code or in a rom flash
since this option isn't even available in the testing mode of our G3
moste likely you had gps test or something open
in some apps there is an option to calibrate the sensor but it only calibrates the sensor for that certain app

As far as i know the G-sensor doesn't have any kind of app or hidden settings menu for re-calibrating the sensor on our G3...
The only thing that helped me is flashing a new rom or reboot your phone a couple of times when its lying on a flat surface...

You just want to do that because your friend's phone has it? "there is no need to repair what is working fine"
And most of the apps that use accelerometer as primary input give you option to calibrate it acc to your need

[Q]My mobile can't unlock after long time locking

As the title, my i9003 cant be unlock after long time locking. When I press the middle button or the power button, the screen has no light, but the menu and back button light up. Maybe the phone is working, but the screen not. To solve the problem I can only unplug the battery....
Someone has the same situation? and who knows how to make it worked normally
Thanks!!!

[Q] Phone Switch Off Automatically After Removing from Charging

Hey,
I am getting an issue with my phone all of a sudden.
When i connect to charger it shows battery charged 100%, when i remove it phone switch off automatically.
I checked the battery and it works fine on my friend's galaxy Ace. I tried using his battery but same issue again. So it has nothing to do with the battery.
I deleted batterystats, bin also but no help, tried flashing stock rom again and same issue.
Is it has to do with hardware ?? My phone is out of warranty so hardware issues are unbearable for now.
Do you have a GB based rom?If no install one,or an official firmware and see if the error persists. If it persists go to a Samsung Service .
Sent from my GT-S5670 using xda app-developers app
Don`t forget to press THANKS
Yep I have GB...tried most of the roms now. I guess it's an hardware issue.

Actually wipe completely i.e using cwm do a data wipe then format all partitions after that do the same again.
Now flash via odin the latest non corrupt stock ROM u got (ddkt3 ??) see if the problem persists if its a telephony or Ril bug then this should fix that but if its a hardware bug then well Service center it is :good:
PS Guessed a RIL or telephony bug cause of the frequency of roms you flash also its a source problem of miui:good:
I already wipe data , cache.
N yestarday i flash stock ddkt1 rom by odin then update via Kies ddkt3 but the problem is not gone.
I think its an software problem..

Maybe the GPS antenna on the device became loose or doesnt have a good contact. When you disassemble the phone it should be a long wire connected to the mobo and charging port assembly. Find a repair video for it (like this one http://youtu.be/z8BJVchUlTs) , pull wire from the mobo clean contacts a bit then reattach, then try again. Hope this helps!
@bokithq i had replaced charging port so it seems gps issue is because of that. But i can check it about a month later because my screen is broken and i am waiting for a new one.
What about camera issue? Both camera don't work

Did you try camera on original stock ROM ?
If not, return the stock ROM to the phone and do factory reset.

İ was using camera with insertcoin rom before dissasembly. After issue appeared, i tried another rom with clean install but nothing different. İ think it is hardware issue.
