To put it simply I'd like a lockscreen with a lot of color and a home screen more subtle and stylish
AFAIK, not with the stock lockscreen (at least I couldn't find the setting).

You can use Multi Picture Wallpaper (Free). Configure the LV to show a different image on the lockscreen. It can be a static image or a slideshow gallery.

As it turns out, multi picture live wallpaper doesn't quite do what I want it to..
I am missing the opportunity to scale the picture, the standard definition is to have the same image copied on each screen - I simply want my standard picture(which is made for the tablet) and keep the normal movement and cropping.
And then of course the other picture as my lockscreen picture (and it would be nice to be able to crop/scale it)..
A friend of mine told me that WidgetLocker didn't work on his tablet ?
So didn't really want to buy it in case I couldn't make it do what I wanted before the time limit.

I wonder if anyone knows a program that can change "Lock-Screen"/Start wallpaper ? It should be able to open folder of wallpapers and that user could set time - "how often to change wallpaper".
Most of Wallpaper Changers / Switchers can change only Today's Screen wallpaper.
I need to to change wallpaper of Locked screen, for example once in a hour.

As long as it's changing the standard WinMo background then it will work just fine, the lock screen just uses the standard WinMo background for it's own. That's why it's the same as the screen that's behind the start menu.

I mentioned that most of software change only Today Wallpapers, but not "Lock-Screen" / Start wallpapers. Yes, Lock-screen and Start Menu wallpapers are the same, but is there software which can change it periodically ?
Anyone? I want to know too!
there is:
"BG4allTAB" or "background for all tabs" which makes the home tab background picture background for all other tabs (at least in manila 2.1)-not lockscreen.
there`s also "Jmz Lockscreen Changer v2.0" which is background picture changer for wm6.5 lock-screen.

Im using this software on my touch HD (wm6.5) but it should work on HD2 also

I'd like a mix of the HD Mini Lockscreen and original slider/iPhone.
Or, in other words, exactly the Mini lockscreen but with a side-to-side-slider.
I dont want any other features. No clock, no appointments, nothing else.
Tips, anyone?
Reason for this is that when I use the original leather pouch, I have noticed that ever since I installed the Mini lockscreen, I often accidentally unlock the device when I put the phone in the pouch. Not good.

Yes I have, but it is far to many features for me. If I could only have the slider, without scrolling text, without all the incoming call features, without having to manually delete/make images transparent to get rid of them - then it would be close to perfect. But for now it is to hard to make it clean.
I ended up tweaking my own.
Standard Lockscreen, slider in the middle (portrait) and in original position (landscape). No appointments, no clock.
In the attached .cab for anyone's use
if you make one with clock for me it'd be great . i also like it clean but i need the clock at the bottom cuz i don't wear a watch and i use the stock sheath. i like to just pull the phone out a bit to see the clock. without it i'll have to pull the whole phone out and unlock it to see the time.
cookies home tab!!! manila slider option and customise the home screen to be blank or watever u want

Auto changing wallpaper
I've seen some software on the XDA forum that auto changes your background images by selecting the folder you assign containing all the images you wish to use.
Haven't used it personally, but seemed like a good idea as most of us are used to doing this same thing on our desktop OS's. Would be nice to see this feature built into CHT, as it seems such an issue having the correct size now and assigned image for all tabs and lock screen etc

thanks for the reply fazz, so there is software that is able to do that. I use SPB shell atm and I can set one picture, but I'ld rather have a slideshow in a box on which you can edit the size

I recently purchased a Moto X and instantly fell in love with all the phone had to offer. I like to change the wallpaper around and found that when i download a wallpaper and set it, the black bar appears on the bottom of the phone, making the phone's screen appear smaller.
I went to gallery and on the set to wallpaper, I pinched to zoom in just a tad, set, and long behold the blackbar was gone. I was running apex launcher. The tip is pretty simple but i'm sure there are users out there that have no idea.

Hi, I'm having this problem. But pinching doesn't seems to work, or maybe I don't know how you did it, could you please explain a little more?

What's the image size of the wallpaper?
Today I Found that if you Download the wallpaper or image size of 1080x1920 There would be no need to pinch to zoom, you just set the wallpaper from gallery with the size of 1080x1920
Here are steps:
1. Download wallpaper/Image (size 1080x1920 )
2. Open gallery and find your downloaded image
3. Click settings button, click "set picture as"
4. Click set wallpaper. (If your size isn't 1080x1920, then you will have to zoom in until the blackbar is gone )
The web site that i use for most my wallpapers is interfacelift. Size is 1080x1920,

Also just cropping it with photos instead of gallery works

Actually any 720x1280 image will work, notice that i did not say 1280x720.
the minimum height of the image should be 1280 and width of 720 or more, the important thing to make the black bar disappear is to beminimum height of 1280
We are used to seeing images of the shape of our monitors, 720 high and 1280 long
Dual question. Are there mods or apps (possible something in Good/Nicelock that I can't find?) that can one or any of these?
1) Display the day and/or date in the notification bar (sorry if this isn't proper name) at the top - WITHOUT having to swipe down.
2) Have 2 different live wallpapers for folded and unfolded screens - WITHOUT using Galaxy theme app.
I've been told the galaxy theme app can do that, but that's not an option for me. I've managed to get some other wallpaper apps to give me different live wallpapers for a limited time, but for one reason or another it always ends up resetting one of the screens to the Fold 2 default WP, or making both screens the same one. I've yet to figure out which apps can, and in what order, make these separate screen Live WPs stick.
Any advice/ideas?
