Hi,
Which radio do you have installed?
Best radio one is the latest one 10.15
Once it's installed it stays there. No need to reinstall.

Not if you are coming from ARHD 3.6.0 otherwise it is advisable to upgrade to the recommended radio. However not absolutely necessary.

Thnx, I have installed the recommended radio for 3.6.0 posted in the thread. Good to hear that I can update to 3.6.1 without updating the radio

Android Revolution HD 6.X.X were really great to me!, so 6.1.0 would be amazing.
This rom would be a great choice!.
Hello,
now I have ARHD 3.6.9 on my HTC Sensation, I would like to know if I wanna install ARHD 6.1.0 / firmware 3.24, I'll be able to install later ARHD 3.6.13 on new 3.24 firmware??
Thank you in advice !!!
If you do this you will probably get bootloops.
As far as I know, you would have to flash an older firmware, because the new one is only compatible with roms built for it (ARHD 6.1 for example).

3.12 is for the first lot of ICS roms, such as ARHD 6.0.X, IC etc.. 3.24 is for ARHD 6.1.X. For gingerbread roms and to get advanced fastboot commands you need 1.17 firmware.

Yes it is possible. Just flash the firmware you want.
I believe that the guide for that is in this thread:

I second that! Not sure if its as stable, but a naked Android is way sexier than clothed with sense.

No the 3.24 firmware only works with the latest release. If you try gingerbread with the 3.24 firmware you will boot loop.
blackICE4.2 best rom
This rom is the best so far I have tested.
Also it has the most beautiful theme..... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1231953
I second the nomination for Virtuous Inquisition 3.0.0
Amazingly stable, excellent battery life and looks very sexy in native ICS style

If you are trying to install an ICS ROM, you need to update your firmware also, or you won't get past the beats screen.
i had the same problem and the above post is correct u must flash new firware before installing the rom otherwise it will hang on logo.
download latest firmware flash that first then install rom , i would also maybe use s wipe also after installing the firmware to give a nice fresh rom install.
I know I need to update my firmware first, but if I do that, I'm in a bootloop. That's even worse.
So, I've just installed this RUU: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1408961 with android 4.0.3 and HTC Sense 3.6. Where can I see my firmware now?
Settings then scroll to about phone its the very bottom option its in there software version and also hardware choose either one to see all info about phone.

Hi!
I came from ARHD 4.1.10. I installed the new firmware, you can pull the battery out after installation finishes or even when it boot loops. Then remove sd card, use a card reader to manually remove the img file. Put it back, Then boot to recovery, superwipe, flash new rom
Be careful using an old ARHD version, make sure to update your 4ext touch recovery to latest version afterwards

Thank you really much! So, I have firmware version 3.25 now, and for the roms I need 3.24. Can I install a rom with version 3.25?
Thanks!

[Q] Flashing evolution 7.2 over 6.8

Hi,
(sorry just realised I put 6.8 when it should be 6.7)
I have been searching for the answer to my question but haven't found a definative answer, I also checked in the revolution hd 7.2 thread but it's so huge now it's impossible to go through all the threads...
Anyway my question is: can I flash revolution 7.2 over my revolution 6.7 without any other preparation? I don't have to use superwipe or anything? I read in the Revolution thread that I could but then I have read in other threads that it is best to wipe first.
I'd just like to be sure before flashing. I am configured as per the 6.7 (as I did that about 8 months ago) so I just want to update the ROM to 7.2.
I'd appreciate some direction.
Thanks!
My set up:

Sorry but you'll have to wipe before flashing 7.2 because the two versions have different bases...

Hang on, I'm confused. What do you mean they are different bases? Aren't they the same base...after all it is just a newer version of the same ROM and the firmware is the same 3.33.x?
Can you explain by what you mean about different bases?
. 153 vs .154

Well, looks like i was wrong... i just checked in the ARHD thread, and wiping data is not mandatory but is recommended
For me, super wiping and installing fresh ROM works for me. Most of my apps are on the cloud so I just have to resync. I had too many random issues from not wiping.
Thanks for the replies. I'm going to upgrade this weekend.
The upgrade went well! Now there is a new version!!
