To my knowledge, there is no way to do this unless you find the apk, modify it somehow, then install it over the previous version. Could you try another email client? unless it is the app that is giving the message, some email providers do not allow you to download an attachment over a certain limit, although they are usually ~25MB

Hi,
I have searched on the forum and could find my answer. I have an HD2 and a gmail account.
I have setup to download the emails however it only downloads the headers.
On previous versions of WM there was a final option on emails with said
Choose to download either the entire message or just the message header from the dropdown menu.
If downloading message headers, specify an amount of the message body to also download (in KB).
This version doesn't have this that I can find.
Any way around this as it is very annoying having to click each time.
Also is there any way to allow it to download internet pictures on emails?
Cheers
i know there are plenty of sms scheduling apps out there but i find it nice to ave enevrything in one place. i also know that go sms supports the 'sms scheduling'. the only way i have found to do this however is highlighting a previously sent message and selecting the 'convert to schedule message'. id like to be able to make my own message without sending it, and then schedule to send it at a specific time and was wondering if it was possible in go sms because i havent found it. thanks!
Try handcent
i am pretty sure that handcent does not support that feature yet
Has anyone worked out how to use this properly yet?
Ignore this post
The way I use it is to have it set to pro version. When you are on the messages page just swipe the screen to the side and it will change to "folders" and/or "plugins". In the "folders" page there is a scheduler in there.

I have been looking for an email app that allows me to specify not only the number of messages to retrieve, but a period of time as well. I keep my messages on my web-based server, and don't wish to retrieve them all. I thought that a previous version of K-9 had this feature, but it doesn't seem to be there anymore. Perhaps I imagined it, or it went away with an update?
The stock email app lets you choose ho far back to sync
Hi guys!
I was just wondering if their is a tweak/hack/app/way to set a timer for a SMS.
Like telling your phone to send a specific text to a specific person on a specific time.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks!
In theory, such an app could be written. The official SDK doesn't support automatically sending SMS, but the APIs exist and a homebrew app could use them. I don't think anybody has ever bothered to write such an app, though.
That's sad/
Anyway, thanks for clearing this one up.
I'd like that ability too. Unfortunately (using the official routes) Microsoft only make available to developers the ability to create a text message, and then launch the phone's sms application - leaving it for the user to press send. The code isn't able to do the sending so an app wouldn't be able to do it via the phone's own SMS at a scheduled time. You would also have the problem that if you set it to be sent more than two weeks in advance, and didn't go back into the app during that time, the scheduling 'agent' that runs in the background on the phone would expire after two weeks (so the sms would never be sent).
There are however some web sites that do it - e.g. http://ohdontforget.com/
You might be better using a web site anyway due to them being always on (whereas a phone might be off or out of signal at the scheduled time).
It would be possible, however, to write an app that uploads the text to an on-line service (such as the one mentioned as it has a developer API) so that a web server could reliably take care of the scheduled send - and then perhaps sending a push notification to the phone to confirm it has been sent.
Hey, I think here is one app for that, I didnt have time to look it totally through...

Did any1 try the app?
Just gotten a N5 and I have a question about the stock email app (NOT the Gmail app) on KitKat which is pretty much the same as the N4 app as far as the basic workings go .
Is there a way of limiting the size of a download, basically preventing it from downloading huge attachments when using 3G? My previous HTC stock email app had this feature.
Also, I have set the incoming details to never delete mail from the server, however it continues to do so when I delete them from the phone. I have set this up as a POP account and it works with all my other devices set the same way.
OK, I have sorted out the download size issue, apparently it only downloads the attachments to an email when on WiFi, so that's good.
I really hope someone can answer the question as to why it is deleting messages on the server when explicitly told not to.
