[Q] Flashed to S7 and stuck on "S7" screen - not loading - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hey guys, so I flashed to S7 from Infused an hour ago through CWM red screen and now it's stuck on the Serendipity VIII screen and it has been for the last 45 minutes.
I cleared cache and deleted all previous settings and flashed to S7 and it said it was successful. I chose "reboot now" and now it's stuck. I can't get back into the red screen by holding the volume/power buttons and when I try to hold just the power button down, it just restarts and gets back to that screen.
Is there anyway to fix this??? This sucks.

Try Holding the Volume up/down longer. Power it off....then hold them for around 15 seconds.

No go. Just goes straight to the "Serendipity VII" screen.
I've pulled the battery and tried it several times but it goes to the Rogers startup screen then right to that S7 screen...

then you will have to put it into download mode and use the unbrick and start from scratch.
or use Odin to flash a GB kernel with CWM and you can reflash everything that way as well.

Am I able to run this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1092021
with root + 3e modded recovery to save me time from having to re-root?
EDIT: So I put it into download mode and used the above method and it worked well in Odin, but now it's stuck on the Samsung screen. What a headache. I'm wondering if it's because I didn't get the correct kernel that it was stuck on the S7 screen in the first place...
Looks like I have to try gtg's method later...

So I'm stuck.
I've used gtg's method and it finishes in Odin perfectly and it goes to reboot but still stays at the SAMSUNG screen now. No changes for 10+ minutes.
Any other suggestions? I'm just about to pull my hair out.

Is this a Rogers infuse, or AT&T?

i believe there is a S7 help forum. may want to see if someone has had the same problem and if there is a solution there.

Thanks guys!
I finally solved it. Solution - just in case anyone else runs into a similar problem.
Rogers and AT&T infuses are different. If you have a Rogers Infuse and try to use GTG's ultimate unbrick - it will not work. Not only will it not let you boot up, but it gives you a fabulous new AT&T splash screen as well. Luckily, GTG had also developed an unbrick with the stock Rogers rom for Rogers Infuse owners to use which is kind of buried in the forums that take some time searching for.
Once you get THAT file, you can use Odin and unbrick from there. No problems after that. The other great thing about it was that it's an already rooted rom. Instead of taking the chance again of trying to flash S7 on it, I just went ahead and flashed Infused instead all over again since i had less than 24 hours with it.
Hope that helps anyone in the future.

[Q] bricked rogers infuse 4g

i rooted my phone using odin infused gingerbread kernal.all was good . i messed with some battery logo changer and started messing with this red voodoo screen when in reboot recovery mode.any ways my phone is stuck on the samsung logo.pretty sure i bricked my phone.i have flashed back to stock rom and others but same thing. after reboot stuck on logo
also when i plug it into the usb charger the battey symb pops up but freezes.it wont even charge
Try gtg's ultimate unbrick.
The only known way to completely brick these phones is to flash a bad bootloader, and you have to go out of your way to do that. There's only one known instance of a hardbricked Infuse so far, and that was a volunteer for a known dangerous experiment.
If you can see anything on your screen, you're in good shape as your bootloader is still alive. If you see the Samsung logo you're in great shape as you have a booting kernel that just doesn't like something about your filesystems. Either way, Odining an unbrick package should fix you right up.
Edit: As I understand it, "power-off" charging is somehow handled by the kernel in a special way. At least it is on the Tab 10.1 - so an unhappy kernel means no power-off charging.

Looking for a lil help before I buy another infuse. I fell asleep with the phone in boot loader mode and didn't have it plugged up but phone died and next day tried to turn phone on and showed att then cut off. Plugged it in and keep cutting off and on blinking and won't charge bat. Won't go into either mode (download or reboot). I have read a few but not like mines.. won't read on computer. Any help please. I will tip or pay for cheap fix..? Thanks!
Remove the battery, put it back in, and press and hold only the two volume keys to enter download mode. Then use Odin to flash a package.

In this case, not a good idea. The battery is dead.
After a few cycles of it blinking on/off the battery should hopefully have enough charge that it'll eventually stay awake.
I think there are some other tricks to charge the battery when it's severely discharged like this, but I don't know them - I've never been below 30%.
Worst case this should charge your battery a bit to get you out of where you are - http://www.staples.com/Vivitar-SC-ALL-Universal-Battery-Charger/product_791676 , or one of the "standalone" Infuse battery chargers on eBay.

Sorry, I'm not good in English
I think I bricked my Infuse, rooted with odin kernel hack, worked fine, left it in the charger for the night, wake up, its not responding to any buttons, odd, pull out battery, reinsert battery and I get nothing no response from it. Plug in in the wall charger, and I get a little loading circle on the screen thats frozen, unplugged it, pulled out battery, reinsert battery and try booting again, this time it got as far as a ROGERS boot screen, but now Samsung boot screen. Left it for 15 minutes and it was still at rogers boot screen. haven't been able to get past the loading circle since.
Any chance of survival for my week old Infuse?
EDIT: forgot to mention I've tried to get it in download mode with no success.
EDIT2: Solved and recovered with Adam Outler unbrick

Black screen after Galaxy S logo!!!

I was running ICSSGS rom for a week now, but i didnt really liked it so i decided to for the first time go back to stock. I used AdamOutlers UCKB2 Heimdall One-click back to 2.2 froyo. Entered download mod smoothly, flashed without any problems, and then phone started booting. Att logo, att animtion, galaxy s animation for about a minute, and then...black screen. I left it on a black screen for about ten minutes, nothing happened. When i touch capacitive keys they stay lit up and thats it. I tried flashing same thing again, as i could enter download mod without any problems, but i faced same problem. Then i tried flashing it with bootloaders box checked, faced same problem. Is there anyone who could help to get phone running again ?? I need help desperately!!
UPDATE:
Ok i tried , Odin super one-click back to stock eclair 2.1, flashing went smoothly, and now phone is stucked in flashing att logo (keeps flashing att logo). I tried to enter download mod again, but now it just starts charging when i do key combo and usb plug. Also, cannot enter the recovery.
Not sure what's going on with the flashing but sounds like you will need a jig to get into download mode. Of your phone came with 2.2 out of the box that's probably why the Odin one click 2.1 didn't work. I'm guess maybe bad download of the heimdall

[Q] Can't Use Download Mode, Boot Looping

When I say I can't use download mode, I mean when press the volume up/down + power, nothing happens.
For some background:
I rooted my phone as soon as I got it and ran MIUI up until about a week ago. I decided to go to CM7 because I have it on my Nook Colour and really like it, and MIUI was giving me a few little problems.
I used Odin to revert back to stock, but I couldn't get into Clockwork Recovery to flash CM7, and so I tried to use SGS Kernel Flasher to flash the CWM Community Voodoo Kernel V8 and now I'm stuck.
If I try to plug the phone in at all, I get the battery too low to turn on screen. If I try to enter download mode without the phone plugged in, it just gets stuck on the Samsung screen. I have no idea what to do now.
Any help is greatly, really immensely appreciated.
Never mind! Pay no attention to me, I just had an hour long brain freeze...
did you figure it out yet?
If not, here are a few methods to get the modded recovery you are looking for:
heimdall

heimdall
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1524081
odin

Thanks, I did manage to figure it out. I used Odin to flash back to rooted stock, and now I'm going to give this whole CM7 thing another go.
Wish me luck!

good luck..CM7 needs to be flashed twice, with a 3 button combo recovery and reflash after the first one...at least that was what I read, not having used it before
This always came in handy for me.

[Q] Rooted Froyo to Frozen Galaxy S 9I000 after a flash with SGS Kernel Flasher

I have like many, played with my Android for 2 years now. I have a bricked Infuse GB (finally toyed with it to its death last week), so I pulled out my old Froyo unrooted backup. I rooted with SuperOneClick - easy. I made some kernel tweaks in Rom Toolbox Pro, and also changed a few status bar icons. I did several reboots and all was running well. I did need to adjust some more tweaks but I saved those for my next big change, when I decided to.
...look into more of what I could do and downloaded the zip file for Voodoo Sound. I read that this could do wonders on my Froyo stock rom and was compatible - actually, I read fairly safe. So I can't say if this caused this or not. It could have been my lack of booting after each simple change, font, notification icons..etc. But I didn't do much more before I flashed Voodoo Sound
I downloaded SGS Kernal Flasher from the market, and when I flashed and it booted, I got the SAMSUNG screen. Then followed by a new black screen with GALAXY S GT-I9000 in white with Samsung logo on bottom. And it stays frozen. I cannot enter recovery mode or download mode to my knowledge - or should I say, experience.
Since this was my backup and what I was doing seemed relatively harmless Im a bit shocked. I loved that my font and icons were changing, something I couldn't do with my gingerbread infuse using rom toolbox pro.
So now I am stuck on a bootscreen I've never seen before, nor intended to flash if that is what happened. Was this flashing Voodoo Sound or was it my negligence with other? I just rooted this yesterday after getting too frustrated to fix the GB. I don't think I had but 4 apps downloaded and really left most of the build.prop stuff alone beyond some minor adjustments for battery life.
So I'm stuck on a boot screen with a phone model I am not familiar with, cannot get into download mode or into recovery mode. I had a TWRP Recovery zip file I never set up yet, never got CWM recovery working - regardless, I just started playing with it so I'm lost as I thought I could just wipe, reinstall packages and reboot fresh. I hate this to be my first post, but I usually find all the answers I need from you guys and I appreciate all the efforts you put into this site to help noobs like myself from creating disasters. I just didn't know what to do and if I'm not hard bricked, I don't want to end up that way.
I thought unrooting would work, but I can't get into the phone so it won't connect to the computer. Also, when plugged in, it shows a battery frozen at zero. I know it's probably charging but that must mean I messed up something that starts at boot. Anyone willing to help me resolve this issue and get me back on so I can make phone calls again - something I should probably stick too, haha. But sometimes, mistakes are the best teachers...so maybe I'll learn something easy from the pros here.
Well u have the wrong kernel flashed some how
I would try a different computer and go for the heimdall package to take phone back to stock.
As soon as you do get to download mode and I know it sucks with bad kernel flash I did before my self. Gotta just keep trying ..... If you got power u can get download mode.
For more information go to qkster thread ...

Thank you, I'll search that out. Well, I thought bricking was more potential, but if I can do a recovery on both that'd be great. I backed all up to laptop and gdrive before - and actually thought about leaving it "new". As my first root and tweaking, or "modding" out the GB was great. And I never picked Froyo back up, but I just wiped it and rooted it yesterday, and I only used it for a month when I got it (long story with phone provider and a dent on the side (but I have two Infuses,Froy and GB)
But I am going to stay away from flashing. That got the GB...but since you brought up the power option. I thought they were toast. If it takes me a few days to learn, I'd do it in a heart beat - they both have power and that means I can get them both working. The GB has a PC on left, Phone on right and a triangle in middle. I didn't read into fixing that - which I thought would be tougher than grabbing my other. Maybe I can get both working and get some more insight.
I appreciate it, and anyone else who inputs. I'll start reading into that other thread after dinner, cross your fingers for me. :fingers-crossed:
I cannot find the specific thread you were directing me to. But I was successful after many attempts to enter download mode. It is being recognized but unable to access the insides of my phone. If I click reboot from download mode (volume down), it boots to the stuck Samsung logo. If I push up, it's in download mode, but I have nothing to send commands to it as it's not being recognized beyond the Samsung USB composite.
Can someone direct me to where the thread may be about the frozen/stuck Samsung boot logo? Also, frozen 0% battery level but charged all night.
I'm trying to find something specific on this but it's difficult being an Infuse Froyo and I'm stuck on the Galaxy S GTI900 which was never there before my last reboot - obviously whatever I flashed was probably for the Galaxy S. I get SAMSUNG, then the Galaxy S screen...can't seem to get into recovery because it's too fast before stuck again.
Take out the battery, put it back in do not turn it on hit volume up and volume down plug in USB that's the download mode you are looking for

[Q] Need Help Badly

Sorry if this isn't where this is suppose to go, I'm just new here and slightly panicking.
I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE SHG I757M.
I tried to root it, and didn't think to back up anything. I'm currently stuck on the CF-Auto-Root screen with the red droid, turning off my phones just brings me to this screen. Earlier I was stuck at the error during upgrade screen. I honestly have no idea what to do, any help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Flashed it with CWM and it turned on properly! Thank god!

remove the battery of your phone, wait 10 seconds, and put it back in.
press and hold volume down, home and power buttons until the phone turns on.
it should show the download mode screen. look up on google images to see what the download mode screen looks like.
if it boots into download mode, take out the battery again, and leave it out for the time being.
go to sammobile.com, or samsungupdates.com, find your phone and region, and downlaod the file.
look up on google,
"how to unbrick phone with odin"
follow whatever directions you find easiest to follow.
you will have to download odin first, a google search should find a download easily enough.
