heartbeet headphones by lady gaga on i9000 - Galaxy S I9000 Accessories

Hi guys..
Does anyone knows if the control talk on the heartbeet headphones work on the i9000?
I meen can you answer calls by the remote, set volume up or down??
I'm talking about the first version of lady gaga..
If the control talk dosent work.. did anyone knows if the version without control talk works fine by playing music??
Thanks, and sorry for my english

I'm not sure. But I have heard the beats headphones are overpriced and not great quality. They are manufactured my MONSTER which is known for selling hdmi/video/audio cables for >$100 (you can get elsewhere for $5-10).

Headphones with controls?

I own the G2x and the lack of headphones kinda pissed me off, but at the same time it wouldn't of surprised me if they sent crappy headphones anyways. So now I'm on the look out for some headphones with controls that WORK on the G2x. Anyone had any luck finding any? I'm looking at the Zagg headphones, but it's like they never update their support page and they wont know.

BUMP!
I want headphones too...
Moved to proper forum.
picky huh. Look at this way. Be happy the phone was $600 full retail. The only phone T-Mobile has headphones with is the mytouch. Stop being cheap and go buy some. Man be happy that the phone was cheap like it was. I do believe it sells for more over seas then what it is in the USA.
I dunno. I sold my nexus one which had remote headphones.
I bought some Sony buds with a remote that kinda worked for my nexus. Play, pause, skip, and previous worked... but the volume controls didn't (they were made for iphones).
Unfortunatley the set I have won't skip or do previous... only play pause. Which is OK for my needs.
I only spent $30 for the Sony buds which never fully worked so I wouldn't base it off that.
Play/pause works so its getting some input but to what extent, I don't know.
-sent from my LG 2Gx
You even don't want one with Optimus T or Vrigin because it's crap.
I have a few headset adapters and headsets for iphone and they work OK.
Sennheiser MM60 is the cheapest for the sound ($45), or buy Griffin headset adapter and use your own.
Is it confirmed that any headphones with controls will work on the G2x?

Wired earbuds and mic combo

Has anyone gotten a earbud/microphone combination to work properly? I just got the PhillipsSHH8006/28 headset . Audio works fine, both in call and when listening to music, but the microphone doesn't seem to work at all. I plugged them in to my friend's phone and the mic worked just fine, so it seems unlikely that it's a physical problem.
I'm currently using the EE4 Gummy Charged ROM on the imnuts PBJ voodoo kernel, so it could be something with that, but I thought I'd ask in accessories first to see if anyone has had any luck.
Interested to see if anyone else comments on this. I have a set of Senneheiser headphones with the exact same problem. Weird thing is, I went into the Verizon store and the headphones worked fine on other phones (including my old Incredible) and the salesman's cheap headphone/mic set worked fine with my phone.... can't figure it out.
I've been able to get a couple of headphones w/mic working with my charge.
Just Wireless Headset - Black
Rocketfish Mobile - Hands-Free Stereo Headset - Black/Red
I got the first one from eBay for less than $2 and the other one for about $5.
I'm running on rooted EE4 with Voodoo
I went on Verizons web site and it said ibeats would work with charge....nope. I've tried the Bose...nope...gonna call Samsung.

I use etymotic's new buds, mic, etc, all work fine.

My in-ear skull candy's mic does not work. The audio is fine.
I have since given up on finding a high end set of headphones with a mic that works with the charge. Settled on monster turbines from best buy. Sound awesome.

I use diddy beats with mine, works great.
Mic works, and I have pause/play control by clicking the little remote on the cord, no volume control however.
Wow, glad I checked here first... I was just getting ready to buy a few pair of the Klipsch Image S4i earbud/mic headphones...
Has anyone actually heard from Samsung? I own the Charge and my girlfriend owns the i100 Gem (from a Verizon reseller). We go to the beach a lot and I'm looking for something we can use to listen to music and take phone calls. I was hoping the Image S4i's would be the move, since I own Klipsch speakers and the brand is outstanding.
I know the Image S4i's are certified to work on iPhones. What do you guys think?
I used a headset/mic that came with my work blackberry bold, and it worked fine (both headset and mic).
Just tried my new Etymotics HF-2 headset and it works perfectly. My voice came across loud and clear according to the other end, I could hear with the volume set low, and I could pause/play videos and end/start calls.
Operation was the same as my iphone 3gs included earbuds, but the quality reminded me of my old ER-4Ps.
Wanted to revisit this, as I never wound up buying anything (yet)...
Has anyone found a good earbud and headset combo? Anything that has functioning in-line audio controls?

just ordered rocketfish
Glad I read this thread, I just lost the bluetooth device that came with my DC and was looking into a replacement and think I would just prefer a set of phones with a mic. I ordered the Rocketfish ones mentioned earlier and will let you know of my result. They only cost a dollar too so that's a nice plus. I used to be a hardcore audiophile only listening to high-end ear buds for the subtle differences claimed by each manufacturer. These days, i'm satisfied if i even hear the slightest bass response so "quality" is not my largest concern. I currently prefer an unbranded (except for the marketing company that gave them to me) pair of ear buds to my bose ear buds.
Just got my rocket fish. I thought it was 2 earphones instead of one, but at a dollar i don't really care much, I usually listen with one.
But they work fine, and even better with the headset control app. Lets you add a variety of click combinations and functions.
Using them while i save for some if those fancy etymotics.

This phone with voodoo sound really deserves a good set of headphones. I use the audio technica ATH-M50s and they are great for the price, best listening experience of any mobile device i've had including iPod and other dedicated mp3 devices.

Am I correct in saying that Voodoo Sound only works on Froyo ROMs with Voodoo kernels, because source code is not available yet for GB kernels?
Sorry, new to Voodoo.
If you buy the voodoo control application it can add the module to stock rooted kernels so you can have voodoo sound on GB

Yeah, only think that doesn't work is the bass boost. But the newest Voodoo Control works on all 2.3.4 kernels so far, no telling whether it'll work on 2.3.5 though. Still, very much worth it if you ever use headphones, voodoo sound is awesome.
On this topic has anyone found a cheap set of wired earbuds from Walmart, Target, Bestbuy, or some other local retailer that will work with the Droid Charge and Yahoo Messenger's Voice or Video Chat?
Need to pick up a set this week but not sure which earbuds will work for the charge and which ones won't.

Mic on earphones that does not work with Triumph

Hello,
I am currently using Scosche idr655m earphones. It has microphones built-in. I used it with my Intercept before and it worked great. Recently, I just bought the Triumph and found that while a mic other pair of generic earphones works, this one does not. it will work as a normal earphone but the mic wont pick up anything. If there is a fix, please let me know. Otherwise, let me warn you that it wont work so you dont have to waste quite a bit of money on it.
Cheers,

Just picked up the V-Moda Bass Freq Metal Vocal Earbuds from radioshack!
$50 bucks. Frequency Response 8-22,000hz Noise Isolating. microphone inline with mute button. They sound better than most of the popular $150+ headphones. GREAT DEAL
my skull candies work flawlessly on my triumph. call volume is great and the mic picks up very well.
Just grab an inline mic for 3 bucks on ebay and use whatever earpiece you want

http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169418600
They look nice.. you using them? coz its written they work only with iphones..
Anyone else have other options too??
I've been using Ultimate Ears 170vi and i am getting UE 220vi from eBay, seller artistic.life. They're good for me.
Been waiting for these to come out (Was reported on Engadget a while back)
Specifically made for Android too
Use your preferred popular browser to search for:-
klipsch image-S4A
http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/1...ctronics-earbuds-giveaway-5x-pairs-200-value/
The middle button will work fine. Not sure about the mic. I know that the volume won't work.
Try http://www.sennheiserusa.com/headphones . I have CX500 for 2 years already and i`m happy with it.
I occasionally use the Sony Ericsson MW600 if you are looking for a wireless alternative. The tracks do not read on the unit itself (it's a SE thing) but the buttons work. Added bonus is that the MW600 has a built in FM radio in it so you can use it that way as well. And for that FM feature, the display does work. I have used this with my Nexus One and now my Sensation from time to time.
Im waiting for the Klipsch S4a's to come out also, emailed them and they said they shall be available towards the end of this month to order in the UK.
Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket
They sound and look amazing IMO and are ok priced at 25£
Jays a-Jays Four
Arctic Sound E361 In-Ear Headphones with Mic
Just purchased a pair of the Etymotic HF2's.
Excellent bit of kit. Don't listen to the people who say theres no bass. My head shakes with the bass Most people think there is less bass because these earphones are so clean. Cleaner bass, less distortion (Some people mistake this distortion for their thumping bass)
You do need to bed them in a little. I've only used them for about 10 hrs and can already hear the improvement. To be fair the medium flanged plugs fitted my ears perfectly and isolated the sound pretty well(Other people aren't so lucky). They do disappear into my ears about 2cm into my ears but for me they are pretty comforable!
I had a pair of the Shure SE210's (No Mic) and I thought these were pretty good, they are definitely not as good as the Etymotics
Haven't tested the mic much but appears to work pretty well so far.
There is just one button on these. One click for pause/play, two for next track, three for previous track. Works pretty well in my opinion
Would highly recommend!!
I picked up a pair of Klipsch S4As
They're pretty nice. Though not as nice as my UE Triple Fi 10s 8)

I got the beats ones with the phone...
I'm a bit of an audiophile, so I didn't have high hopes; considering the whole beats thing is a bit of a fad. Was going to stick to my shure ones, drawback... Lack of remote.
However,I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the beats ones, and the remote/mic is a bit of a God send.
Only drawback, no volume control on em. Also, the hideous red cable. But the in ears are comfortable. So I'll be trying them for day to day, and using my shure for checking recordings (musician, you see)

I am using a pair of AKG K340 in-ear headphones with mic and music control. The audio quality is really brilliant but they aren't great in staying in your ear, a little heavy I guess
Beat earphones are for rap and rnb fans but for rock and trance...
Anyway any earphones + mic for iphone will work on sensation?
I picked up a pair of S4As, It's pretty good, you can also customize what each button press does.
Guys, maybe that's a stupid question, so please don't laugh too hard
Since the Razer Moray uses an adapter to convert the two 3,5mm jacks into one 3,5mm jack to fit into the phone, is it universally possible to do this?
e.g. buy the Sennheiser PC 300 G4me and then hook it up with something like this?
Will the phone be able to use the microphone? Of course, there would be no way to take a call by pressing a button...

My Epic Bluetooth
I own this bluetooth for over a month and I love it. Great sound, clear, and loud.
Voices sounds perfect with bass not like a hollow high pitch. When you place a call you can hear the sound level increase to a optimum level. Best thing is that it has a long battery life of 14hrs standby, a on/off switch, and volume control, voice controls and redial last call. You can't go wrong with Samsung since they make the Epic 4g its best to stick with this brand for the highest compatibility. Also its cheap and you don't have to break the bank.
I recommend this bluetooth to all epic 4g users alike and XDA...

best bluetooth I ever used..
controls music, volume and calls..
it also vibrates around your neck when u get a call.. so if your phone is on silent or u just cant hear it.. u will still know u have a call coming in.
I agree wholeheartedly with bigdreco! Best Bluetooth of the dozens (I'm hard on small electronics) that I have owned... until I washed it in a pair of jeans I could have SWORN I checked all of my pockets though.
I picked mine up off Ebay for $35.
I have to agree with lanboy except for one thing..
Get the Samsung Modus HM3500...
It has a stereo headset option. You can use it as a single, over the ear, bluetooth or
attach the included earbuds (with additional mic) and use it to listen to music and get calls.
It's about $25.
