Hey!
Hope you can explain me this.
I reboot in recovery mode mi LG Optimus ME P350 (rooted with "gingerbreak") using the "Fast Reboot" app from market.
The phone reboots like new one, I had to set the language, date, time, google accounts, all settings, etc ... and all the apps I installed are gone.
my question is: Is this a mode that can go out and get back to what I had before? Or just it reset the phone to me and I have to start again?
thanks for reading.
cheers.
Well I know that it is a little bit older this post, and i assume that you started over with everything. But you were right you must start from the begining as trying to enter recovery mode without having installed a custom recovery puts the phone in factory reset and everything is deleted except firmware.
But if you have flashed recovery with a custom recovery the phone will enter in recovery mode ( vol down + home + power )
On my LG with custom firmware and custom recovery "Fast Reboot" free version only kills running apps....But "Quick Boot" reboots into recovery. It needs root.
So I write this for future help if someone does the same thing.

thnx for your reply how to flash it from CWM recovery mode ?
i believe for your phone you must shutdown your phone and after its closed press vol up + call key (and tap power button to turn on the phone)
That should take you to 'bootloader'. There should be a 'recovery' option there, that will take you to CWM recovery. The CWM recovery should have a black background with orange text(it could also be blue text).
If so, then you're in CWM recovery. Just go to 'Install from sdcard' and 'choose from sdcard' (or something like that), then choose the CM7 .zip file.
Make sure you make a backup before flashing the ROM. Backup can also be made from CWM recovery, its one of the options
Make sure you have CWM recovery flashed on your phone.
You can be sure by going into ROM Manager and in the first option 'Flash CWM recovery', it should be written 'Current Recovery: ClockworkMod x.x.x.x'
If thats not written, then you need to click the first option and flash the CWM recovery (u'll need a internet connection for that)
IT IS not going to recovery mode it 1st hang to ideos screen then rebot to simple mode

for info on how to use CWM recovery and stuff - CLICK HERE
still it is not showing recovery mode
Like codenameunknown said, but try this also:
Info
Getting into recovery
while the device is off...
Press and hold the Volume Up + Call Key
TAP << not hold >> the power button
Don't let go of the Volume Up + Call Key until device light up
Generally it'll always end up in recovery if the Volume Up + Call Keys are held down when the device powers. Doesn't matter how it powered on, whether via power button, usb cable, reboot etc.
while the device is on...
via Rom Manager
Does ROM Manager say 'Current Recovery:'
if so, the you have CWM recovery on your phone.
The link i provided says that

dude i knw after install rom manager and flash clockworkmod recovery i cant go to recovery mode before that it was all good
the link i provided says that your phone IS supported.
Is your version of ROM Manager updated? (im not sure if that will help, but just try, it wont hurt!)
If it still doesnt want to show, you can manually flash the CWM recovery onto your phone. I would tell you how, but im not familiar with your phone.
EDIT:
i searched for a manual way for you to flash it, and ended up with this thread... CLICK HERE . Although this thread also says that the phone is fully supported in ROM Manager now. But it also give you a way to manually flash it

how to connect pc to android in bootloader mode ????? when i open install-recovry-windows.bat of ultrajack or all other i hav tried all others nuthing happened
just try flash miui rom , after flash the phone wont boot , and the cwr also not work , it will boot to recovey by 3 button , but i cant select anything to install or anything all i can do it pull battery to turn it off , any help please ?
Sounds like the back button is disabled in cwm ...just scroll to the top til it comes around to the bottom and then back up and it should reenable it and then you can flash...normally it takes two flashes to flash miui or cm7...
Boot into recovery
Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache
Install zip from SD card
Choose zip
Flash
Reboot
When it fails to boot
Pull battery then reinsert
Volume up, volume down plus power until Samsung logo appears. Then release...when recovery comes up
Reflash miui without wiping
Reboot
Enjoy
ALL HAIL *Z*E*U*S* !
i know take 2 flash for miui , but when im in the cwr i cant hit power to select anything , so that y i cant flash again
when im in cwm recovery , it say fail to open /etc/recovery.fstab no such file or directory and i cant use the power button to select to install zip
I installed cwm 4 on my sgr...
to enter recovery ... I pressed volume down plus home key....
bt I can't enter recovery .. it starts normally....
plz help... I need to flash su through cwm and also the secure kernel by dev ardatdat to prevent emmc bug...
VOL DOWN + HOME key is used to boot in download mode. VOL UP + HOME is used for recovery mode.
to boot in CWM u will have to press VOL UP + HOME key as soon as the galaxy r screen appears on boot, u will notice "booting anrdoid recovery....." written with very small fonts at top left corner of screen and CWM recovery will boot in few moments.
I will test n reply...thankz...
worked like a charm
one more ques...
my device passed emmc brickbug test....
so I dun need to flash the secure kernel by ardatdat...??? right??
none emmc brick bug related apps are designed for SGR or officially supported by their devs.
so its strongly recommended that u flash secure kernel first before performing wipes/factory reset/restoring nand backups,
got it... will do it...I have downloaded the kernel worth 7mb... can u shortly tell me in short how do I flash it....its in zip format should I flash via recovery or do I need to flash via odin...
m new to samsung... It was very easy for me in sony
flashing zip packages is same process in every android device.
all u have to do is.
place zip file u want to flash on sdcard
boot in CWM and choose install zip from sd card
navigate to file, choose it and flashing will start
i already root & install custom cwm on my S7500 & running fine but, accidentally i select 'reboot recovery' & now its automatically boot into recovery mode repeatedly even i turn off or reboot the phone its always the same and cannot boot into normal mode.
what should i do?i already install custom rom & wipe data but no luck.
need your advice plz..TQ
