Hey Guys,
Quick question, is there an way to get the Bliss Rom home screen on any of the 3.5 sense roms that are currently out there? I'm using Gingersense rom from Nils. I wasn't able to find any into on it. I really like the way it looks.
Thanks,
Em
He has a couple download links at the bottom of his original post. I don't know if this has been modified specifically for his ROM or not. If you do happen to try a different 3.5 ROM, I know there is a general flashable .zip floating around somewhere within at thread, around page 9 I think.

Hello, I'm kind of new..but I've pretty much lurked around this website for sometime before I finally decided to join the forums. I've been trying to find a link via the website, but I wanted to know the possibility of downloading Manila/Sense 2.1 or 2.5 to my T-Mobile Touch Pro 2.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be awesome.
Thanks
The stock rom for the TP2 is sense 2.1. If you want a sense 2.5 interface, i'd recommend a custom rom.
You can find them here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=490
There should be plenty of tutorials for flashing your rom
hi im working on making this great rom a pure gingerbread rom, iv made most of the modifications i was looking to make but i have two sticky points i cant figure out,
1. i want to remove the extra reboot options basicaly make it a stock boot menu. im sure its in the coding somewhere i just dont know where to look so i could remove it.
2. im also trying to hunt down the homescreen tips widget the gingerbread version all i keep finding are mod ones which are funny, but im looking for the stock 2.3 pro tips.
all help is appricated thanks
Sorry if this has already been covered, I have seen a few posts that are close to what I am looking for.
I am looking at building my own ROM from the latest Cyanogenmod, or at least customising it so it contains my own apps.
Is there a good place to start with this build process and if I have to start with a basic build is it easy enough to have the update to the 2.3.xx builds that are released?
Thanks
What apps do you find?
I want to remove most of the ones that come with the cyanogenmod release and add my own into the build.
Also I am looking at trying to build my own apps that I want to test by incorporating into a ROM.
Hope that makes sense?
I also want to do the same but I want to start with my stock Rom and then edit it.
Stock rom is good
stock is perfect smooth and far
Hi everyone,
I got my HTC Desire S almost a month ago, and this is my first ever Android phone. Now, I don't like HTC Sense that much and I'm not really impressed by home launchers like GO Launcher or Launcherpro.
I like the look of MIUI a lot, especially because of its 4-icon dock and iOS-like homescreen(s) so I'd like to put MIUI on my HTC Desire S but I've noticed that there are many versions of MIUI, so I'm a bit confused.
I have searched this forum for information / answers for my questions, but I cannot find a topic that lets me understand every aspect of it.
These are my questions:
1) How do I root my phone?
2) How do I put MIUI on my phone?
3) What version / type of MIUI is the most stable?
4) Can I still install Android-apps in MIUI?
I do have experience with flashing the firmware of a LG KM900 Arena (S-Class UI) if that helps.
Greetings,
Nilscollection
Hey!
check this : [GUIDE] A Complete Tutorial for the Beginners and Others
you'll have to check if your device is already s-off first... if it is s-off then you can flash custom roms with rom manager or recovery

1) & 2) take a look at the index thread inside the development section, there are a few links about this, but root itself you got with flashing miui cause it's prerooted, but I suggest you have to put your bootloader to s-off, how to do this is also in the index thread
3) as much as I know is every version stable, it is build up on the previous with bugfixes and sometimes new features, because of this I think you could take the last one, to be sure take a look at the miui thread itself and check the bugreports
4) yes miui is still Android
Swyped from my HTC Desire S
1) No need to worry about root as it's already pre-rooted.
2) If you're going to install MIUI, you need to S-Off your phone. Then you can install it by downloading it to your SD Card and install it from recovery.
3) The latest version is fine. There are 2 different version that i'm aware of. Official version and MIUI US version. I'm using the US version. MIUI is updated on a weekly basis.
4) Of course.
Do check the pinned guide for more understanding on basic terms and more advanced stuffs.
Hi Friends,
I want to flash MIUI gingerbread ROM in sensation. But I am not able to find it anywhere. Please share link where I can download it from and which firmware will I have to use with it?
Thanks in advance.
I didn't find it anywhere! Maybe in some P2P program? but if you find it in some place like emule or utorrent, check the md5!
I used the attached firmware when I went back from ICS to GB.
For ROMs, look here,
http://www.htcsensationroms.com/all-builds/
Type things like GB/Gingerbread/2.7 etc into the 'smart filter' box to get rid of the ICS ROMs and you should find at least one GB MIUI ROM. I think I tried PyroMod MIUI but the camera flash didn't work if I remember right.
Hope this helps.....
