Streaming on the MT4GS..... - T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

So I just got the MT4GS, out is an awesome phone, however, I tried streaming episodes of ” The big bang Theory” via HULU which redirected me to cbs website and then it would not allow me to stream it. Any thoughts on why or any good streaming websites???

The HomePipe Android Application lets you get all your content - photos, videos, music, and more from your PC from anywhere on a network. You can stream music, videos without much hassle.

You can share Audios/Videos/Pictures with the upnp protocol, HTC include "Connected Media" for this.

I also recommend Plex, very nice player and great quality streams outside your home network.

HTC included a media server option within their Gallery App. Just click on the drop down and select Media server.
Double Twist and Google Music for Me as well
Audiogalaxy > Google Music for me. I have 320g of music on a NAS and I'd hate to find out what Google would charge me to 'cloud' all of that.
500gb of music via Subsonic
It's not true streaming - the audio is copied to your device and you set how much space to use and whether the music is visible to the system music app. Traffic can be encrypted. Win/Linux/Mac. Android App available. Web interface. Can do video too.
Twonky is nice but I don't know if it's worth it yet. Have to test it out.
Built in ability is nice but not sure if it will work over 4g.

[Q] Media Streaming to Phone

I have been trying to find an app that will allow me to stream music and video's to my phone. I found the GMote app and it worked well for what it is, but it will not play back to my phone any video that isn't .mp4 it seems. AKA - .avi and xvid. Is there some other app that I haven't found that will allow me to steam these to my phone? I did a search through the forums and couldn't really find anything. Thanks in advance.
Bump ^^
Anyone know anything about this or does an app like this just not exist?

Wait for VLC media player

Orb live or plex will do it with a server app installed on the PC. The Android app costs money but the service is fee.

I've been using skifta for quite some time now and still love it

VLC Media player, sort of...

Well Skifta was a damn bust! Only single folders unless you load that CRAP called XMBC on your system and than it's such an awful interface I could not even get a single folder added to the videos.
Has nobody found a good solution for this yet!

Streaming video

Is there a way to stream video from a pc to the transformer? Using something like ps3 media server?
Sent from my LT15i using XDA App
Being lazy I just play it on the PC and use SplashTop via MyCloud->My Desktop to watch it from my TV, or I will play locally using a file or mount (SMB/CIFS/SSHFS).
Past that, you should probably look in the MARKET for client software to deal with what your server software uses. If you don't know what the server software is, you should find out first .

SMB share and BSPlayer.
Works a great.
Look into Zumocast - there is a version that works on the Transformer floating around... Allows you watch videos, play music and just transfer files from a remote PC over the internet... Works great!
I use upnplayer and moboplayer to stream vid from my ps3 media server.
Works amazingly well and smooth.
Ill try those thanks

best streaming apps i have found so far are EMIT and PLEX. note that when you want to stream 720p you need a good wireless N signal.

tinyshark , is the best one in my opinion
Indeed it seems the best, however track lenght's not shown neither scroll bar.. Did i miss a setting!?
Dood's Music Streamer is much better than Tinyshark
Dood's indead best, AFAIS. Is it possible to download the songs as mp3? Other thing (maybe i should make another rhread?): For listening to lastfm (4free) is there anything better than Klastfm? Mostly missing player scrollbar... And ability to download songd also.
Bump?
