Oke , this is the situation , i've got an Desire-S with a defective screen, the device boots up but nothing to see
I can connect my device trough myphone explorer or droid explorer and can see my contacts , apps etc... But when i try to remove my gmail account i got an error and nothing happens. How can i remove my old mails ?
btw the device is rooted with virtuous unitiy 1.29 on it.

hi guyz,
i'm super depressed now, need help from you all. i've got an xda neo G4 today n wanted to upgrade to an english version. so half way it came out funny funny languages on it n i restarted it. it loaded until the second splash screen n juz hanged that.. tried the hard reset but it was still the same...
i saw at the forums saying that it can be rescued as long as i can access the bootloader mode.. but then my sinc device cant detect my phone tru the usb port when i'm in that mode.... n the upgrade couldnt be carried out coz it cant be detected...
the "mobile device" does appear in "my computer" but it is empty inside... n seems like i couldnt do anything about it..
could i change a new phone at the shop if its still under warranty??
or is there any other ways to rescue it? very depressing, because it suppose to be a present for my girlfriend.. argh~

it doesn't matter if active sync does not recognize it. just run an official upgrade
Hey, that just happened to be today....but the answer is in this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=288266
Check out RaptorRVL's instructions. His explanation was completely correct.
But just to give u a heads up, the "ROMUpdateUtility_NoID.exe" can be quite confusing.
So what i did was rename "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" (from ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip) to "ROMUpdateUtility_NoID.exe" and pasted it to the WWE folder with everything else.

which means that there are 2 .exe files?
1) first is called "Romupdateutility"(in bold letters)with another line following under without bold letters n then HTC
Example on the screen:
(icon)ROMUpdateUtility
(icon) ROMUpdateUtility
(icon) HTC
2)the second one is called "Romupdateutility_NoID" in bold(which i suppose to change the name to _NoID)... the next line is still the same RomUpdateutility without bold letters n followed by HTC
(icon)ROMUpdateUtility_NoID
(icon) ROMUpdateUtility
(icon) HTC
please correct me if i'm wrong.. i dun wana brick my phone~ sobz..

Can anyone help me with the fact that my Diamond 2 won't start anymore, it won't come past my HTC logo anymore after i installed the Blackberry CAB file for WM6.1. With Active Sync i am still able to connect and see the content on the device, so i tried to remove the install via Active Sync Add/Remove Programs.
After booting still the same.
I had a Dutch ROM on it, and downloaded a copy of it via link from xda-developers because i had no backup. How do i proceed? The device has no SIM Lock.
1. How can i restore these .RAW files ?
2. What utilities do i need to restore ?
Any help is very much appreciated, i am lost and this happened only 2 days after i have the device and the first program i installed

Have you tried just hard resetting the phone ?
I tried this, by using the red button under the stylus in combination with the volume. My alarm is still working and the screen pops up but nothing else then my HTC logo. It looks like something in the loader process is screwed
I have no idea how to get this repaired again ! If you have any suggestions i would be happy to hear, feels misserable that you can screw the OS by installing just one program to it.

hy i wanted to upgrade my rom so first of all i backed up my contacts bla bla, took out sim and sd card, hard reset of the htc x7500 all well , i started the device and followed instructions on screen, connected the usb synced perfectly. executed Athena wrapper.exe all went well completed , everything was working fine, then soft reset the device to check if all was ok (ps. setup already finished on pc and mobile) and guess what the green light at the joystick comes up but nothing else blank screen ( hep me what can i do from this point, i can enter the boot loader, if i connect the usb, in the white bit of the boot loader i get from serial change to usb but on pc nothing saying sync connected or anything like that. il try reinstalling the active sync on the computer see if that works .
oh great gurus of this forum please help me with this urgent matter

Link from above just delete the spaces and there you have it, i could not post it together as i am a new member and does not let me put the link yet.
i followed the link in the firs post ( the one replied to the quoted text) downloaded from there the rom update and from bootloader screen it went like a charm, after that i upgraded the rom to 1.58 witch i dont quite like it as it keeps showing only H instead of 3G or the type of connection either the settings i setup in the phone, and installed the AP4 platinum ROM and works well. hope others will get their problems solved like this too as i saw there are many with the same problem.
i have an HTC 7 mozart windows 7.5 fully up to date
i uninstalled whatsapp 2day so i could reinstall it and add my new contacts
problem is , everytime i try to download it , it stops at 50% writes " attention required"
and when i tap it it says that there's a problem installing whatsapp i should retry
, i retried about 20 times but still can't install it, i also tried installing it from zune,
same thing happened could really use some help here :S
i reset my phone , changed my marketplace windows live account and still same problem :S
Was able to successfully root Karbonn A111 using SRSROOT TOOL.
While rooting the phone will reboot twice and then will get rooted. Got superuser and immediately installed TiB.

Rooted and Bloatwares Removed
Rooted my A111 too.
Just want to add that there were two methods in the SRS Root UI on PC, "All Methods" and "Smart Root"
Rooted mine with the Smart Root option. Device booted twice as is suggested by Jesrani and the device is rooted.
Removed 26 bloatware from the stock ROM without any problem ( Have rebooted successfully after debloating)
