Same problem here. CM7 w/ hangouts doesn't work for me.
I am on Virtuous Doubleshot 1.1.6 and I can join a ongoing hangout from my mt4g, BUT the camera that comes up is rotated 90degree to the side. The camera works fine when launched by itself...
CM7.1 RC1 - I don't see any video chat related options in the latest G+ update. What should I be looking for?
I had already modded it to support Gtalk video chat though. I don't know if those changes are making a difference here.

You can't create Hangouts in G+ on mobile but you can join them.
No luck on nightly #197
just a note that FFC is rotated 90 degrees in the Leaked GB TmoUS ROM too.

They've come out with some updates since the initial release for the hangouts so hopefully this fixes all the problems.

Hi fellas last night i got a mail from flipz mode about his new rom android 2.0.1v1.9 i am running now and i just want know if someone else is doing too i found some bugs but i thins this one gonna be one of the best

Only bug I found was that the Weather/Clock widget will only show a temp in celcius. Lack of cam is the only real problem for me. Im sure Toast is still working diligently to get the cam module working.

No. No camera, no MMS, and no visual voicemail. Everything else works. At least that's what Flipz told me. I haven't tried it yet, but everything that guy does is great. I'm sure it's awesome.

Maybe just a glitch for me. I changed it to farenheit within the desktop clock setting.....worked there, but not the widget. Im flipping back and forth between nandroids with stock and this rom. Try again later.

Dunno. If I remember right, last time Flipz did an early release, his supporters got it 2 or 3 days earlier than the rest of the community. Just assume Sunday or Monday to be safe. That way you don't have to keep checking. If it comes earlier than that, you'll get a bonus. No promises though, I'm just speculating off of what happened last time.
i have a problem i donated but with the wrong email and i do not have access to that email account what should i do. BTW i updated my paypal with my new email. so hopefully flipz will send it to the new email.

Lol, if you read the first post in my 2.1 rom you'll see that market shows all apps, including protected ones
EDIT: And i'm sure you can get it working on flipz' 2.0.1 rom too if you just edeited the fingerprint in the build.prop

First off all credit to Herver for his great rom. All info on the original rom and Herver is below.
I uploaded 0.9.5 beta. not real happy with it. And it has some issues so its here if you want it but it might not be stable. wireless tethering is still giving me issues and the hulu app is just false hopes but im to tired to mess with it anymore tonight. Also there is no lockscreen now....ill get it fixed tomorrow....What I have changed though:

I have it working on my phone but when I try to flash the rom it gives me some errors. BUT even with the errors it looks like it installs somewhat correctly. I will upload what I have as a beta if anyone REALLY wants to try it but it has its problems.
Uploading at the moment with AOSP Dialer, Contacts, Email, MMS, and Music. So far its been running very stable for me. A couple little things I need to fix but it doesnt effect performance at all.

This sounds awesome! All the benefits of Baked Snack (which I used to run and loved) without the cruft of Sense (which is the reason I dropped it for CM6).... Downloading now. I'll let you know how it goes.

I would like to see the phone app in full aosp. Because I'm using a Rom that is working beautifully but just see that when I receive a call it shows the stock phone app and the scroll down answer bar. I want the aosp mode. I don't like to auto decline people when taking my phone out of the pocket . Thanks

Does the AOSP messenger happen to have any issues with sending messages longer than 160 characters?
CM7 Nightlies are officialy launched and there is already an update. There are more or less the same as SK4 but you can give them some tries. I don't currently have my phone since it's sent for service because the 3.5mm jack just died so I can't give them any tries yet.

2) If i take a 3D photo, in Gallery is duplicated (not in 3D)
Any fix? If i want to have this Cyanogen relase with the Stock Camera and stock gallery?

You must flash the Gapps zip file after the rom flashing!
When you download the gapps there is one for the new google talk with video chat. Tried it out but it force closes for the person calling. Anyone else get it to work?

Do a factory reset in CWM, often the problem.

that 3d´s not working.. ist not so good, but.. when did i used this feature last time?! So long, that i didnt have a 3D TV, 3D functionality doesnt makes Sense!

I got the same problem with the keyboard-backlight.
I tried to force the

Thanks for testing it man, REALLY appreciate it, also were a big help with getting logcats etc. we ended up with something pretty good here now.. just to fix cam.

It didn't work in Internet in Beta 1 for me either. I was running beta 1 until 1 PM MST today, then switched back to stock due to my need for WiFi.

I'm running Flinny's cm10.1 b22 on my DesireS. The last google Maps has several graphic glitches, and the screen keeps flicking most of the time. On developers section both "force rendering gpu" and "disable overlay HW" are NOT checked. Any suggestion, please? Thank you
I'm facing the same problem on my Desire S w/ Flinny's CM 10.1b20... Changing the settings mentioned above brings no solution.
I'm facing the same problem in blindndumb (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2305828&page=1) CM 10.1. From time to time the app is working OK, but occasionally the screen flickers and I'm getting lots of artifacts. It happens mostly when I pull the notification bar down.
Is it maybe related only to JellyBean ROMs? Is anyone who is still on 2.3.5 / 2.3.3 facing the problem?

That seems only to work with Flinny's CM build. I have the same kernel, but on BnD's CM build, still have flickering.
At the moment the only solution is to close and open again maps....

Please specify the ROM installed and possibly the google maps version.
How to reproduce the issue:
- wifi/gps off
- start google maps application
- tap on the localization button
- a flickering popup try to appear
You can experience the flickering behavior even moving around the maps.

How to reproduce:
Wi-Fi on/off doesn't matter for me, just click at the localisation button, or open the notification shade and then close it and the maps start flickering.
Also no solution here.

This issue is most likely not going to be fixed anymore. Our device isn't meant to run anything above ICS, so some apps will have problems on JB ROMs, no matter how hard you work on a fix. Just my 2 cents.

This seems to work for a while....then the flickering comes back, again....
