BT audio when using the stock music player or any other player that plays music from the sd card over my pioneer avic system is cracking and distorted. It has never been a problem until I flashed an XE Rom. It does it on all xe roms I have tested it. I have wiped, reflashed, super wiped, changed kernels, etc. The problem still exists. Others have also had the same issue. Any idea what this bug is and is there a way to fix it?

Sigh seem like the HTC sensation has the same problem as other phones when when playing a video over bluetooth, the sound does not sync up with the video. Anyone see this problem on there phone.
It's inherent to a2dp. Variable buffering for maintained quality. I don't think it can be avoided unfortunately.

I'm currently running ARHD 3.6.5 with the 1.5 bricked kernel, I have a pair of studios I bought off of a friend of mine for a 120 bucks. I also have the control talk cable that comes with the tours.
Now here's the issue, I can't go back and forth between songs with them. I can answer and hang up phone calls. Call my last dialed number, pause and unpause music. But I can't skip ahead or back a song.
Any solutions or do I just have to buy the official beats XE headphones?
Thanks, oh an by the way I got the beats for less then half the price so please don't flame me on how they are bad.

It happened to me once, just restart the phone and u should be fine. It could also be to do with a music file error. I found that one of my songs was causing the problem so I deleted it. Try both and see how u go.

try using Headset Button app from marketplace allows you to control button on remote .
I use doubleTwist music player. You can set that as your default app for using headphone controls.

I use Jay's headset controls, works with ICS now as well. I use it with my iBeats earbuds that come with the Rezound and use the app to add in line volume control. Not sure if the app will work, but the other work around has been said, by using a different player. GL

Flashed over to the Revelation v2 ROM(loving it) and I went to flash my beats audio zip and since doing so all my music skips, whether I'm using default music player or Google music player. As far as other audio such as ringtones they all work fine no skipping. So I started fresh wiped my phone reflashed Rev v2 and let it boot up and settle then flashed beats audio and still same problem. Any ideas? Maybe I did something wrong? Let me know what you think.
Peace out with the grease out,

I've found if I put my music on the e internal SD, then I get better play. Almost always have issues if I put it on external.

Problem:
after the ICS update last end of march i noticed that sometimes i dont have network coverage,3g network...but before the update it was working really well...getting an error message ""for better experience turn on you network coverage"..but it is tuned on (not on airplane mode)
solution: after reboot, error disappeared but still my main concern is the WEAK network coverage..
anyone has the ANSWER?
Same problem - but i noticed it with WLAN on.

I got this strange problem with my phone. I had set a custom ringtone for my girlfriend, so when she calls i know its her (obviously).....but since 2 days it automatically reverts to default ringtone. Considering i haven't done anything to my phone these 2 weeks its particularly strange.
Another problem is...sometimes when i talk through the headphones and pull the pin out of the jack, music starts on its own like 1/10 times. This happened with my Wildfire too....

add the ringtone via this way
Go to Ringtones > Menu > More Ringtones > Create new ringtone > Select the one you want
then see
Hi Man,
the issue with the ringtone can be related to the SD card.
If you have your custom ringtone on the SD and for any reason the SD is not available when you receive a call, it will return to the default ringtone.
The second problem can be related to the jack it self. are you using the original headphone? if not, when you unplug it, it could touch some of the contacts of the plug making the phone think that you have press the play button. Other reason you be that the neck of the plug is getting broken and cables touch eachother.
That happen to me on my previous phone.

Thanx. The ringtone is saved on the phone...I had transferred it to the phone after the first time out happened. I'll still delete it and save it on phone again.
I can't remember that happening to the default headphones. And I reckon this only happened with the alternate ones I used. Thanx
