[THEME]Back to Stock for WeaponG2x 2.5 - T-Mobile LG G2x

As the title says, this is a theme to revert Weapon G2x 2.5 back to it's stock appearance. I created this because sometimes some themes won't flash over others, for whatever reason. Anyways here it is. This will also revert most of your apps back to stock as well, along with your shutdown animation.
Instructions:
1. Download back to stock
2. Reboot into Recovery
3. Wipe Cache
4. Flash back to stock
5. Reboot.
Download Weapon Revert to stock:

Hell yes I've been asking how to get back to stock

Thanks for this! What I've been doing is loading my backup image to get back the stock theme. This will be much more useful

Yeah noticed there wasn't one so I put it together. Glad ppl are using it

You could have just re-flashed the rom without wiping

I actually tried that and my **** was acting all crazy afterwards. I assumed that was the other way to do it though. Either way I'm good to go now! Wish the Colorized Theme would work correctly for me though

[EP3HA][Stock][ODIN] EP3HA Full & Debloated Deodexed (10/9/11)

I got a request earlier today to make deodexed versions of the EP3HA release, as I had made for the EP1W (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1260214) release. So here it is. These files are 7zip just like the original release from TBH. I tried .zip .rar and .7z and found the highest compression was with .7z so thats what I used.
There are absolutely no changes from the TBH release except that it is deodexed. It will delete all data and leave you stock rooted, including the recovery, so you will certainly want to follow up your ODIN flash with a flash of CWM 4.0.0.8, which is also attached.
EP3HA Full Deodexed
EP3HA Debloat Deodexed
CWM Recovery 4.0.0.8
In case you want to use the Debloated version, but there are still some apks that you want from the full version, here is a link with all of the original apks from the full version:

Yes, that is the stock theme. However, because it is deodexed, you can either theme it yourself, or use a theme that is already out there.

Deodexed allows [easy] theme creation and install. It is possible to theme without deodexing, but its more difficult. Aside from that, no advantages that I know of. Some have claimed performance differences one way or the other, but I don't think there is any substantial difference.
If you are asking what is deodexing...http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-is-odex-and-deodex-in-android-complete-guide/. Basically, for each apk there is an odex file, by deodexing you combine them into a single file.

Buzzing, popping crackling noise issue solved?
I've had issue with buzzing, popping crackling noise during a phone call running several different Gingerbread roms, until I encountered this one. I honestly don't know the reason or the cause of the buzzing noise running on other GB roms prior to this one.
I've been running the full deodexed version of this ROM for a few days now, and it has been running flawlessly, no more buzzing noise issue so far. I made sure I took cautious steps installing it. First, I installed the factory EE4 rom properly, back to stock, before I odin this rom. Then I installed Imnut's [8-17-11] Clockwork Mod Recovery (the orange version), and backed up everything. Then I installed imoseyon's GB kernel, v3.1.0, and backed up everything. I use GO Launcher EX (not a big fan of TW stock launcher).
I'll continue testing and will report if I run into the same issue.
hey stranula just a quick question, would it be possible for you or someone who knows how (if its not hard I could even learn myself) to make a CWM package of the debloated leak? I like to be 'bleeding edge' lol and run rom betas but its a pain in the ass to have to Odin back to stock every time to start over when I mess something up

You can d/l Quick Boot from the market. QB lets you boot into recovery.

Lol. No prob. FYI, when I said I ran a backup, I was using CWM 4.0.1.4 to do an image backup of the whole system.
I hope that solves your buzzing issue. I'm still buzz-free so far.
Well I just made a couple phone calls and no buzzing or crackling. I hope it holds out. I didn't do the cwm backup. Do you think that's necessary to avoid the static noise?

No, no effect to the static noise issue.
I just recently discovered this nifty tool (cwm backup) myself. The image backup/restore feature lets you backup your current system, as a whole, in case you want to restore it at later date. It stores it into a file in clockworkmod folder. Usually whenever I'm satisfied the way my system works, I'd back it up to the card. And if I want to try a different ROM, for example, I'd run a backup before flashing the new ROM, and if I feel like going back to my previous system, I can just restore it from the card. I may choose to backup the new system prior to doing that, just in case I want to flip back to it. The feature seems to be working well for me. YMMV.

You need to include details when you post something like this. Because otherwise people won't understand what you are talking about and won't be able to help you. Then questions like this pursue that are unnecessary.

Contacts > Right Click > Accounts > Choose gmail account > Uncheck sync contacts and resync. Recommended to do on strong connection. This should add them all back. Give it a few minutes to resync. Everytime that I flash a new ROM only 6 of my contacts are there and sometimes I have to do this before they will all show back up.
For some reason that only brings back one of them. I'm not sure what to do now.

Set it near a router and give it a few. Toggle again. And if that doesn't work reboot.
I've got good wifi in my house (55Mb/s up, 10Mb/s down). It completely re-syncs but no luck. I'll try rebooting.
If that doesn't work I'll go back to a stock rooted rom and get them back that way.

You don't need to go back to stock rooted. I would recommend Mitra and Caty's rom. They are excellent and I have had no problems with getting the contacts on either of them. Never liked MIUI.... at all. Also, when you do get them I THINK that it helps if it is backed up in TiBu or something similar. Not positive though..
Don't I have to go back to stock to flash one of those roms since MIUI has a weird kernel and the blue cwm recovery menu?
I like the customization allowed by MIUI, that's why I prefer it.

I've been flashing for four months now. I wipe/factory resets, wipe dalvik and fix permissions. Works practically everytime. So now.. just use red cwm. People tend to see problems when they flash with red or blue. I'm dumbing this down a bit not for you but hopefully a new comer will read this and not ask questions about it.
I did odin back to stock once, but that was more for just peace of mind than anything. Don't think that it was necessary. I was testing to see if it would fix a weird thing with my dalvik cache.. but nothing came of it.

Doesn't going to the red cwm **** with miui since you have to flash different kernels?
Either way, she's just copying the contacts out of my phone and recovering the lost ones some other way.

Your correct, its non voodoo (hence the blue CWM, red means voodoo lagfix enabled kernel). You can flash from red however, it just requires flashing CM7/MIUI twice, one to get blue recovery and after a batt pull, one to boot into the rom basically. So going back from CM7/MIUI you need to flash a voodoo enabled kernel to get back red CWM, then flash Caty, MitRa etc...
Back to your question though, you can sync contacts with other accounts. (facebook for example) You can also use the contacts on your SIM card and export them to the external SD and recover them that way. Google is the easiest way but sometimes it doesn't work.
Happy flashing and good luck!
EDIT: Damn Rex, your short and simple answers are killing me, beatin me to the punch once again haha

Lol ya don't blame you and your best bet if Google doesn't work, is exporting SIM contacts. The first time I flashed MIUI, back when Mikey ported it, I had to export them to the external and it worked like a charm. (backed them up w/ google after that lol)
That's what I did with mine, I just assumed she did too. My mistake.
Look...dang y'all...very easy fix....flash one of the stock Roms....or mine or numas...whatever...when your contact come back go to contacts and hit menu>import/export/>import to sdcard....and back all contacts to sdcard....flash miui and then go to contacts>import/export>export from sdcard(maybe I haven't got them backward) and restore them that way....simple...wow

Just an fyi, I followed your steps to the letter and it works beautifully. Now, if only you could help me by doing this for the ICS blue theme that we have. That would be great.
Your not the only one having problems with posing the ics theme via adb. I'm failing at it constantly but as soon as I figure out the best way than I will def post on it. I have however changed the moto launcher to the ics version and it did add ics ui for the ROM but I couldn't get the phone, browser, or messing icons changed, only the app drawer icon changed. I'll figure it out

Also, if you flashed the CWM on boot than evertime you boot your phone you will go straight to recovery which will help those bootloops. Keep in mind that EVERYTIME you flash a ROM you will need to reflash CWM on boot.

I always restore all my apps and settings via titanium and I'm running supercharged 5.2 without a problem.

Ive never personally had a problem with titanium back up, but def dont restore data via cwm. And supercharged is awesome if you follow my steps, or the op steps, to the letter.

Keep in mind that EVERYTIME you flash a ROM you will need to reflash CWM on boot.

That's not always true, it depends on what you're flashing from.....for example, I was on stock rooted 2.3.6 when I flashed RebelROM and it didn't wipe data at all so I retained everything after the flash that I had before it....except for the underwhelming ROM

Update Gone Wrong

Hello - I tried to update my phone from Infuse v2.2.3 to Th3Bill JB 3.3.2 and got in an endless loop. I then tried to go into recovery mode and do a restore. Checked the MD5, Erased boot and then started restoring boot image and thats where she has been sitting for some time. I will pull batter and attempt again however I may be hosed. Any help greatly appreciated.
It is not possible, that I am aware of, to go from Froyo straight to JB. You will also not be able to restore a backup at this point due to changes made on the phone in the borked attempt. You should be able to wipe data, cache, and dalvik, and after a couple of attempts re- install a Froyo rom from scratch. If you can't do that, do this.

Thanks to qkster and Entropy for this.
I had that issue as well. Only cause I like to see if I can be done. But no. What I do is go back to stock and rooted then flash a ICS ROM then make sure it boots. Then go wipe all stuff in cwm and flash jelly

Hey Pony, I was on the custom ROM Infuse v2.2.3 and not stock Froyo. I ended up doing the gtg ultimate unbrick to bring it back to stock and then did the full back to Infuse v2.2.3 and then did a nandroid restore. Everything looks good but it is acting a bit weird. Like I will try to open my applications or folders it sometimes hangs. I consistantly get it to free up by locking the phone and then unlocking it. Weird huh? Anyway I would be interested in trying to upgrade to JB but would like more instruction on that. Thanks for responding and if you can recommend anything that might help Im all ears.
See the post below - if you need more specific instructions let me know.
Thanks rkkaranrk.
Use Odin or heimdll to get stock GB Tom and then from there u can flash any rom u like just follow the instructions in the OP. You can go directly from GB to ICS but for JB u have to flash any ICS rom first and then JB.
Read the instructions on every thread.
