Rooting or Unlocking
Hi there
Unlock or root?
Although this forum rocks there are other forums that also help with rooting. How is the phone? I was about to order one?
LifeHacker and MakeUsOf have some very nice articles.

Sorry what I forgot to add was the the unlocking portion may have to come from the carrier as the code is generated from your IMEI

Had a chat with T Mobile - this is a ZTE handset, but is not Andriod - sadly and unlock needs a carrier code

I been on the search on how to root my Galaxy s 4g from Us Cellular called the Aviator... (Brand New... Only been out for a week.)
The thing is that USCC is CDMA but their 4g network must be GSM. I don't know if this is a hybrid of CDMA and GSM together or what. (<------ Don't know if that is relevant but tossed it in.) Cant find much on the phone yet....
Anyway my question is the steps to root and flash the same as the T-Mobile sgs4g?
I have tried several different ways and all have been unsuccessful and nothing seemed to work. All that I tried were Software based rooting programs. Super One Click was the most recent and failed.
You need to check the model number under the battery and tell us what it says before we can give you proper advice.
Its the SCH-R930.....
We can't help you in this forum. This is for the SGH-T959V.

For future reference, it appears the name of the phone is Galaxy S Aviator (Samsung Stealth). Your phone is VERY new. Give it some time and you will likely find develpment for it before long.
Hi, I'm from Spain and I have bought this year a HTC J Z321e. The mobile is locked by au and has 2.07.970.3 software version. (I open this thread because all the tutorials that I see are for 2.05...)
I have the unlock code for this imei but when I put my sim card (movistar), the mobile don't ask me for any unlock code.
What can I do to unlock the device and use it in Spain?
Thanks a lot
HTC J Z321E Only support the following network mode:
GSM,WCDMA,CDMA2000,WiMax

I purchased a new Straight Talk SIM card, all the forums I have looked at say that I need to root it? I am not sure what this means, and if it will be necessary to do.
Should be able to just put the sim in and that's it, won't hurt to try it.

Hello guys,
I'm thinking about purchasing a Galaxy Note 5 but I want to make sure that I'll be able to root the phone without creating issues. I currently owned a rooted Galaxy Note 4 that I absolutely love because I was able to get rid of all the bloatware. I will like to be able to do the same for Note 5. Can someone please help me with this? I am looking forward for your response.
Root this way.
