Sound Issues Anyone?

When using everything else in the phone the sound in the speakerphone works. But the minute I use the camcorder and record after I stop recording the sound in the speakerphone doesn't work. I don't hear any sound at all until I restart the phone. Plus the video I recorded doesn't play back either but my fiancée has none of these issues.
Anyone else experiencing these issues? What should I do?

I did have a problem like this last night. I'm not sure what triggered it.
This should have been posted in general though, or Q&A. Tisk tisk. :-/
Wrong section but Go to Menu<Settings<Sound<Audible Selection and uncheck it. Restart the phone and it should stop the camcorder from crashing when trying to replay one of your saved videos.

It should be stated more clearly, its a very dangerous bug.
>be at crowded coffee shop
>plug in my headphones and hit the play button.
>the music then starts playing on full blast from the speaker
>everybody turns around, looking at me
>they now know what lame music I listen to
>I yell "Why team acid? Why would you do this to me?"
>More people stare at me
>the spaghetti starts falling out of my pockets
>run home crying
I didn't notice that on CM9, but it certainly doesn't do it on Remics, which has voodoo sound built in, plus installing Awesome Beats, you have a bunch of different sound config options. I love the headphone amp on Voodoo, can crack your headphones where they are actually loud.
Never had this problem occur to me.
Voodoo sound to my knowledge remains broken on ICS ROM's. The analogue volume slider breaks after making or receiving a phone call. Plus the sound quality is not up to par with voodoo working correctly on GB ROM's. This was recently noted and discussed in Raver's ICS Audiophile thread where several logcats where submitted documenting the problem. It's possible that the speaker issue is related. I think you'll find that if you reboot your phone then the speaker will mute when you plug in headphones, until you place or get a call and then it will act up again. If you want to use the hardware EQ's on the Wolfson dac's a la voodoo sound (highest headroom /lowest noise floor by far), over a third party software EQ like....well everything else, you're limited to GB or Froyo ROM's right now

I have no pity on anybody that doesnt test things before leaving the house.
Now if the sound is full volume then that is a different bug.
Currently its jusst loud enought you can hear it but not understand it.
Why do you have spaghetti in your pockets if your at a coffee shop?

They're not gonna sell him the spaghetti at the coffee shop so he had to bring his own.

Headphones plugged in, still getting notifications over speaker

Is this just a touchwiz issue? Is there an app that will stop the sound from going over the speaker? I assume the people at work are getting sick of hearing the whistle when I get a text or an update on words with friends. I love being able to hear them over my headphones, just want them to not go out over the speaker at the same time.
Just rooted, no other tweaking.
I'm going to be the guy who bumps my own thread. Hoping someone missed it who might have a solution. I have tasker but stink at making profiles.
Just in case anyone else has this problem. This app solved the issue. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix&hl=en

[Q] Answering the phone....

All
I'm on the 11,0 xnph33r release and when my phone rings I swipe to answer and nothing happens. I keep on swiping and still nothing. This happens 9 times out of 10. Any idea of what could be causing this?
Cheers

Ive deleted the cache on the phone app. It seems to be working again now.
I spoke to soon its gone back so I cant answer the phone! Driving me mad!
Right I've just found out this only happens when the phone is in deep sleep. Any ideas? Cheers
It seems to be a bug with 4.4.4 and MP3 ring tones. I've gone to a default one now and it works...
Same issue testing with ogg ringtone.
