we're going to need a lot more details, namely:
1. WHICH ROM are you trying to install?
2. Are you clearing data/cache/everything you should be?
Most of the ROMs available for our device right now look like the stock ROM, so the install may have worked but you're thinking it didn't. We need so much more information!
I am using doubleshot v.1.0.0 .yes I follow all instructions..but when I reboot it jus come back to regular.but i.dont think in new rooms they have t-mobile mall amd all the t mobile apps..
Thankssss

Can we flash from the rom manager? Do we choose sensation?
Oh god no. You'll ruin the phone. You have to manually do it. 4.0.0.0.9 is what you should flash to make sure s is off first.

I've tried every version I can find, I still can't charge with the phone off. I either get flashing orange or stuck on orange.
Then charge the phone when its on. Problem solved.

so what happens if my battery dies? will we not be able to charge it?
It's very possible. I always carry a charger with me just in case.

Then you are good to go until we get official support from koush and cwm recovery.

Which device do we choose when flashing a RECOVERY... the my touch 4g slide is not on the list??
THE MT4GS is NOT supported by Rom Manager. Do NOT choose ANY of the devices.

We need the s-off, root and recovery threads to be stickied. Why is that taking so long to happen?

So should we remove Rom Manager from the phone until it makes the list?
Btw...thanks for the info.
You can still use rom manager to boot into recovery after you have it installed

I remember reading a thread about installing the recovery through it, and it being unstable. Is this still the case? I'm still on the first release that came out with the soff tool.

I use rom manager to flash recovery It's stable for me. Don't know why you guys don't use it,much easier.

If I have flashed a Sense ROM that required an ext4 wipe/format, are there any steps I need to take (besides a data, cache, dalvik cache wipe) if I want to go back to an AOSP ROM?
Nope just flash regularly

Haha lol I did but it still shows max frequency at 1.8ghz but runs at 1.5 even if set CPU is on 1.8 I'm now on 2.1 GHz using profiles makes phone faster and also saves battery if using profiles properly butt how do I go complete to stock kernal where on quadrant it shows 1.5 without having to run ruu Just wondering but I'm lovin the kernal

what rom are you on and do you want the pure stock
some OP pages of custom roms may list it
or pull it from an ruu
or there is a stock nandroid floating around, maybe in the ruu thread, that you can extract it from
axiom has a v01s one I believe would be close to stock
running it now
check trickdroid 6.1 OP flashable script stock kernel
I'm running virtuous v09x I do not want to go back to stock everything by running ruu tbh I don't want to go back to stock kernal but atleast I have option if I want to
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
not saying run the ruu, just get kernel if possible from it or from a stock nandroid in ruu thread
but trickdroid 6.1 has one in OP
Its impossibile that you got The same kernel if you did a nandroid backup before flash The custom kernel..
