Try to clear data from super user. See if that fixes it. Ur happened to me on that rom and I couldn't get it to fix. So I had to change roms. Which kinda sucks....miui is pretty cool

Yeah man its awesome but on superuser it says I don't have root access so there is nothing to clear
And the camera force closes and also multiple apps tried the tiamat kernel and nothing changed trying out the lord v kernel and also recoverd her cm 7.1 rc 1 rom while I did this

Check out the faq of his thread. You need the patched SU.

Thank you anyways......gope somebody finds both of our answees beautiful.....now how do i put the black market n black search bar -like eaglesblood??

Random restarts vs stock rom

Ok so i rooted my phone and never had a g2 style of restart where it just rebooted on its own... Until i started flashing customs roms i tried leedroid, coredroid, p3d, bulletproof and all of them gave me random reboots almost every 10 to 30 mintues apart so i decided to restored my stock backup and havent had any reboots after that... Is there anything i can do to fix this or did i miss a step on rooting or putting my recovery image... Like I knw what im doing when flashing because i did it to my mytouch 4g all the time just sucks to be on a call or a text or browing and get random reboot because of the custom roms... Future thanks to anyone who can help me out because i cant stand the stock rom so ugh (restricted)

That certainly is strange. I remember when I was using the G2, I was getting a lot of force restarts, especially during the CM7 RC period.
On the Sensation, I've been using Android Revolution HD for a while and it's been extremely stable for me. I just make sure I'm using the Super Wipe script in clockwork and then just flashing the rom + addons like normal. I haven't had a single force restart since the ROMs started getting based off 2.3.4. Give it a try and see if it helps you out; it is definitely WAY better than stock, for sure.
Ok sorry to sound misinformed but whats a super wipe... And a little more info, i rooted the sensation after the ota update to 2.3.4 and it was fine no issues then i rooted a month after when revolutionary had added my hboot and i followed the xda developers method on installing the clockwork mod recovery.. i sooner got rom manager since its eaiser for me to knw what rom i back up... But yeah it asked me to install a recovery and i did but its still on the 5.0.2.0 recovery image... Could that be a possibility?

Randomly boot looping

First of all yes I searched and I got nothing, I got my inspire with RCMix3d Runny v4.0 [Official runnymede sense 3.5 Android 2.3.5 and it keeps randomly boot looping at least once a day.I had set CPU set to 1.3 but I deleted the app and it still rebooting, does anybody know how to fix it? Its getting real annoying!
Sent from my Inspire 4G using xda premium
Well you may a PD98IMG.zip file on your root of the sd card.
Have you flash anything new or added any new apps that are CPU controlled? Also anything like uv scripts?
Sent from my Inspire 4G using xda premium
A pd98img in SD doesn't do anything if you dont boot into hboot.
My advice is either ask in the RCMix3D threads or try different kernels and UV scripts.
Its compleatly stock

I don't understand, in first post you say you have RCMix3d Runny v4.0, now it's stock?

Always do some research before posting!!!! I would say redownload the rom and reflash, might of been a corrupted download or a bad flash. always do a full wipe when switching roms, wipe data , cache and dalvic. if you undervolt dont go crazy the phone can only take so much undervoting before it starts freezing and randomly shutting off. hope this helps

[Question] Kernel flashing and matrix kernel specifically.

Hello everyone!
Phone: nexus s 3g running stock 4.0.3 with matr1x 14.0 kernel
my 1st question:
i was wondering how can revert back to stock kernel without flashing my stock rom again or going back to my previous backup?
i know it is very easy to switch from kernel to kernel but i would like to know how to switch back to my stock kernel. If you come across a link please send it to me. Thanks much appreciated.
my 2nd question:
my phone reboots the 1st time when loading up matrix kernel.
what happens is i press the power button .. the phone boots up normally then halfway through the animation it gets stuck and the phone reboots BUT this time the boot animation works properly and i am finally booted to my phone. Note that i have absolutely no issues running the kernel + BLn + Voodo etc (also not oced either)
question how can i solve this? is it normal?
I have one last question (sorry lol)
about voodo colour is there anyway of removing the grren flash that i get from unlocking the phone.
i know i can reset to 2.3.3 colours and that does do the trick but i would like to use my own custom settings..
stock 3.0.8 kernel can be found here in 3rd post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399273
Questions regarding matrix should be asked and may already be answered in his thread
And green flash is common on kernels with voodoo it also turns screen green occasionally for me when auto brightness set
not sure how to fix haven't researched doesn't bother me that much

Alright...
First off is this a specific rom? Like kustom kream, nexus beam..
Or just stock ics rooted
Second, try this again.
Get the rom zip again, then get the kernel zip again.
1. Wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache
2. Flash rom
3. Set up rom
4. Go back to cwm
5. Wipe dalvik cache
6. Flash kernel
7. Reboot
Did you do it like that?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Green flash can be fixed by downloading the voodoo control app in the market then going to the RGB profiles then selecting the voodoo profile

Green flash can be fixed by using either 2.3.3 colors or punchy

im on offical ICS 4.0.3 rom stock (rooted) with matr1x 14.0 CFS
well i downloaded matr1x through rom manager and after wiping dalvik cache i flashed the kernel.
is there anyway of fixing without clearing data? i have a lot of stuff on my phone i would rather not erase... also im on stock ICS so how would go about flashing it again(its not like a rom i can just dl and install or is it)?
speaking of which i know titanium backup backs up apps but does it also backup like my contacts, sms and phone settings etc?
update: i went ahead and only deleted cache and dalvik cache and then installed the kernel again. same problem =/

I'm 17! You want to teach me the basics of modifying roms? How'd you learn? The reason I'm asking is I'm gonna major in computer engineering at Drexel University in Philadelphia. I know Java already.

exact same problem ....
followed ur steps perfectly.
anyways i just restored everything back.
wow your 16 !
im 16 aswell i dont even know the 1st thing about making kernels and so forth lol.
Lol sorry you couldnt get it to work...
The only other suggestion I have is to try another rom...
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
thanks for trying .
anyways the thing is the kernel works perfectly fine other then that and sinc ei dont reboot my phone so much its really not an issue for me.
just another quick thing since that is the only problem i have experienced with the kernel and that everything else is fine working fine should i be worried about stability?
No, the kernel is pretty stable out of the box.
