Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk

The only issues i had now is that i flash this kernel and i wasnt able to unlock my phone. think i might wanna reflash it again .
Edit:Still the same problem. I hope i'm not the only one here.

Welcome guys. I'll be testing this kernel as well im glad your deving for our device.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk

Hm interessting, really want to try but, can you tell us more ?
Is this kernel made for performance and it's OC ?
Or is it not OC by default and can give us better battery ? I really search a kernel for a good battery life : )

What version do I need for HTC Sensation?
Remember to give THANKS were THANKS is due.

Try to install this kernel on TripNMiUI Beta, get the bootloop

I'm sorry it would help if I would read a little more. I found right Kernel, flashing now.
Remember to give THANKS were THANKS is due.

Works fine on cm7 for me. Although battery drain seems high, will report back after a full charge discharge cycle.
Sent from my Sensation 4G

Thanks, no Problems so far, but low benchmark results.

using what benchmark app? quadrant is laughably useless on these device. seriously, run it several times in a row -- your scores will vary wildly. That is the definition of unreliable. The app may as well be a random number generator at this point. Also, it never bothers to use the second core.

It's tested on CM7. The MIUI ROMs at this point (and really a shocking number of other 'AOSP' ROMs) are drawing far too heavily on Sense to work well with this kernel (or the kernel packed in CM7 for that matter).

This kernel has been around for the Inc and the Evo. Now I'm bringing it to the N1 and the Desire!!
Great, Heard about this kernel a lot. I'll try it today on MIUI
Wow, so far very fast on Cm7. Will post some details later, but initially, very promising.
Never heard of this kernel before, gonna give it a try someday.
Hey Cayniarb
Could you tell me - a noob, what are the differences between your kernel (for desire) and the EViolets one and the Richard Trips one in GingerVillain?
Thought I'd give your kernel a try - so far so good.
I did notice though it doesn't have an ONDEMAND govenor - defaults to SMARTASS. Performance seems OK though, time will tell regarding stability etc.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this Cayniarb
Can you tell me which governors are available on this kernel or is it only smartass? What are the minimum and maximum frequencies?
Cheers
Might try this one for my desire. Will report back when i have an idea how this one works out

The kernel has interactive, conservative, performance, userspace, and smartass. On demand has been removed to force the default to smartass. With smartass, you will get a default screen-off max of 384Mhz. Available speeds are 128Mhz to 1.26Ghz (not all phones can clock that high!!).

I don't know enough about the desire community to answer you... I don't actually have a desire - the kernel started on Inc and Evo (both of which I do have) and some n1 and desire users had been asking me to bring it over to their phones, so I finally got around to it and posted them up for everyone.

Excellent - thanks for your work on this, I'll give it a try later.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8x50 chipset is in the Inc, Evo, Desire, and N1.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8x55 chipset is referred to as the 7x30 chipset because it uses acpuclock-msm7x30 (no idea why, just the way it is). This is in the DesireHD/Inspire, DesireZ/G2, MyTouch 4G, Desire S, Merge, Inc2, IncS, TBolt, and Shift.
The x in those numbers is a modifier to indicate the radio(s) included with it.

Not knowing who you are, let's assume I did not get anything from your kernel.
I honestly haven't been working on this series very long, so most of the modifications I have made are fairly common. Beyond that, the only other repos I've looked at on this are CM's, bcnice20's, and my own.
I realize I'm stepping into the 7x30 kernel scene a bit late in the life for a lot of the devices, and I'm not trying to piss off the established developers that are already here. I've had a lot of users asking me to take up these devices and, really, I'm bored waiting for kernel source for the Sensation and/or Evo 3D.
Since this one is for multi devices we cannot calculate with such things like audio boost as in LorD´s Kernel or do we ? The HTC Desire HD is a bit to silent with standard kernels.

These kernels do have audio boost included though.
I think he means that kernels for the DHD usually have a 20% audio boost.

[Q] Best Kernel for ICS on G2x?

I've recently flashed to an ICS rom, and I am now trying to figure out what the best kernel is to run with it (I'd really like to see one that maximizes battery life.) If you are running ICS, would you mind please posting what ROM you are using and what Kernel you have along with it. Also, take a second to explain the pros and cons of that Kernel so we may all make more informed decisions as we prepare to potentially flash one...
Thank you kindly!

Mr. Apocalypse uses Harsh's kernel for Genesis. Owain uses Harsh's kernel for his ICS build. x0xhellx0x uses Faux's kernel for Hellfire Sandwich. I think you can use those as starting point. I like Morfic's Trinity kernel because you can OC to 1560.

Everyone is. NVIDIA has yet to release ICS drivers... so there is sub optimal video on all ICS builds.
We await the official release.
i would recomment the harsh kernel 1505 oc i love it smooth nice battery. i'm against faux it's good in battery and fast, but when you try doing too many stuff it starts hanging

[KERNEL] Basic MIUI modified

I am starting up my own route of android development working with team acid and AntonX to make sure all the best features work in AOSP roms like MIUI, and in the future AOSP and BML CM7 if we make them . This is a BML kernel so don't flash it if you are running the MTD CM7. It is CWM flashable or you can extract the zImage and flash with heimdall.
This is a branch of AntonX's kernel so UV/OC, voodoo sound, and BLN are all there.
Do not flash this on a stock rom, this includes Valhalla black, AOSP style (no it's not AOSP), or anything that isn't MIUI, Cyanogenmod (BML), or AOSP (if we ever get it ).
Changes to come:
Currently working with initramfs to remove voodoo lagfix, speed up boot time, and add touch recovery.
Credits:
AntonX, this is a branch of his kernel
Team Acid, for putting up with me and their kernel work
Bhundven, for being the best dev ever, his original kernel, new initramfs and all his work fixing CM7, and his always helping me out when I'm in a pinch

Sad news is, my computer screwed up a flash and now I'm bricked. So I won't be deving for a while til I get to a t-mobile store
Woo think god, I managed to fix it. Lesson learned, don't flash from my front USB port.

The "vibrate fix" aka the switch to aries-vibrator from vibetonz was actually bhundven. I just dinked around with vibetonz until I yelled "f**k it" and flipped over the table. Bryan then made the switch.

fixed.
I'm quite stupid but can you explain "OC and Non-OC flavors"
NVM I figured it out haha.
hampsterblade,
You did the wrong thing on github, you have lost all history for the project. If for any reason my project is gone, nobody will know what have been modified. You should have forked. It's not too late, you haven't made too many changes. I did exactly the same mistake originally, but FBis helped me to recover.
And why have you uploaded the whole toolchain??? You are not going to make changes to it, are you?
Since updating this kernel to the non oc version I can't uv with tegrak
