Ever get an answer or method on this? I tried set cpu, but 1.2 was max options available.

milestone overclock let's you go to1300 ,it is free in the market.
Sent from my Milestone using XDA App

I would not suggest putting the cpu that high. It can cause internal damage.
Sent from my DROID2 using xda premium

If not 1300 any suggestions for a safe mark in this CPU?
Thanks

Around 1200 is my limit.

Your on a droid 2 tho right? The D2G is already stock at 1.2 ghz...should be able to push 1.3 on a global safely...

Quickclock will find your phones safe overclock speed
Mine is 1251mhz /57vsel but not everyones is the same
If you overclock to fast and set it to overclock at boot
You might get a bootloop and have to sbf
Should do a stress test after calibrating
Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using xda premium

how does one find quickclock? i cant find it in the market..

Goto my stickied thread and follow the overclocking by undervolting link. x13thangelx has links to these apps there. I forget if it just links to market though.

1) Only if the phone has a dev for it, so they can work on it. I doubt roms are available now...
2)Yes It could be Oc'd only if a dev makes a kernel with oc features
3) You can check, AFAIK none is on XDA

Your highest over clock speed!

Hey guys, I'm just kinda curious as to what your highest overclock speed is so I can get an idea of what I can get it too! Thanks guys

This can go up to 1.6 so I heard..no need for that, risk is not word the reward..battery life fast drained and overall killing life cycle too fast..
1.2 or 1.3 are a good tradeoff

I wasn't able to keep mine stable at 1.6, and at 1.4 it had occasional freezes. It's all based on your phone, everyone's is a little different. I think with the newer roms overclocks are too much and you should stick to simply undervolting, although even the undervolts posted here need some tweaking for each individual's phone, as they caused my phone to freeze.

Of course I don't! Matter of fact if you have Tegrak here is my exact profile.
Its zipped in 7zip, only way itd let me UL it lol
If you don't have tegrak let me know and I'll write it out then ;P I'm lazy tonight. Plus if you have tegrak just throw this in your tegrak folder on your SD and bam ;P

With any rooted kernel you can use Tegrak Ultimate (Its a paid app, but super cheap for how well it works) and Overclock/Undervolt
Edit: My statement purely applies to our phone, as Tegrak will not work with all phones, and I'm too lazy to list all the supported phones.

SD/Tegrak/Overclock
on your SD card there should be a file named tegrak. Inside is a subfolder "Overclock" Put it in there. Now in Tegrak you can choose this profile inside the profile tab.

Stock Rom/Root questions? (s5670L)

Hello every one! Ive been searching for a while for a nice stable and smooth rom for my Galaxy Fit. The problem is i have the "L" latin vrs. (s5670L). I was thinking about going back to "stock + rooted rom" and was wondering: Is it posible to deleted original system apps without any problems, by that i dont mean browsers etc because ive done that with root explorer.. what i mean is, can i delete stock touch wiz and add any one i like for example go launcher to it, and would i be able to move apps around to system partion on phone to make use of that extra space without any probs like i do in CM7. Just asking! Hope i get an answer
Yeah, you can definitely do that. But do add proper permissions.
Thanks ill try it out then

You can use fugumod. As per the general consensus it's the most consistent. But finally it depends on your personal choice.

Even g3 mod oc is good. It has some innovative features like multiboot n stuff. But in the end its your personal choice.

Do you use the kernel? Is there an original thread somewhere that we should peruse? I'm wondering how it stacks up against other kernels as far as features goes.
Also, what ROMs is it compatible with?

As I understand it is for CM7. To my mind KisadworkX with G3MOD beats all other ROMs but I think with fugumod it would even battery(haven't tried though)

G3 Mod
I use G3Mod kernel OC. People say its a bit bad on the battery and sometimes i agree with it. I have a very old battery r u can say the battery which came with cell when it was launched and i bought it. Still sometimes with moderate to low usage i get almost a day worth of battery which is okay for me..
I havent tried fugumod much except for a few roms but was not comfortable with it...
Any kernel except G3Mod (With messed up battery drivers) is good.

Unexpected Shutdown while using the phone

Hey guys, I'm using rooted stock gingerbread with tagb kernel 1.2 hotfix and I'm also using a mode i.e. Int2ext+. Everything is fine but recently my phone is shutting down on it's own even though there is enough battery. It happens once in a day while downoloading, browsing and listening to some music at the same time! My phone is overclocked to 691 mhz default by kernel, which makes my phone unstable! So, I have used "No cpu frills " app to bring it down to max:600mhz and min: 240mhz, governor : 'performance' or sometimes 'powersave' , scheduler: sio. I think unexpected shutdown is due to overclocking but i use "No cpu frills". Sometimes, my cpu runs to 691 mhz and if overclocking is the issue then how do i bring it normal frequency permanently without using any app or without applying the settings ( clocking at normal frequency) every boot using a app. Today, I was messing with the no cpu frills to change the governor to performance but my phone shutted down on its own. Please help me!
keep cpu min to 480 MHz and cpu max to 729 MHz. dont worry, this is very stable and doesn't drain the battery. also configure the settings to set these frequencies on boot. reply if the prob is solved.

Today I noticed a warm boot during a phone call, but it didn't got lost! Things can happen, but no idea why. No error message so far, just rebooting, no re-dialing.
Probably useless to search for the error. It happened once and not repeating since then anymore.
