+1 On this too. Never got to use it on my hero since i got my evo before i could flash it in. Just flashed it over last night before selling it. I'd be willing to help out and provide a test evo.

They don't use ADW maybe. Also, it is buuf, not buff (pet peeve).

+1 for this. Loved Buuf, had it on my iphone (shudders) and on my G1, would be great to have one on my Evo (with Sense UI also)
This would be great. I love Buuf, I have it set for my TrueLaunchBar menus.
Edit: looking back at Buuf themes for Windows XP, I think it should be easy to modify MattedBlues for Sense into a Buuf theme.
I buuf'd my phone myself by putting the icons on my sd card and using folder organizer and desktop virtualizer to set the desktop up. I even made a custom weather skin for beautiful widgets. Its more time consuming than just flashing a theme but you get the satisfaction of using the icons you want and making it truly unique. Pics attached. I hope.

I'm using the Buuf theme for adw.launcher and love it. I'm so damn jealous of the iPhone ONLY because of this theme. This thread has pushed me to finally download the necessary software to start a theme. It'll take awhile since I'm new, but I'll see what I can do.

Any update on a Buuf theme?
Anyone happen to know where I can find a clock widget like the one on the HTC HD2? I used to use Fancy Widget but "AndroidDoes" recently updated it and now it has been completly changed...still kinda nice, but not the same anymore. I have "Beautiful Widgets" but there arent any clock skins in there either. And I would prefer not to have to buy "Weather & Toggle".

I actually came across an old .apk for fancy widget. I installed it and it works PERFECT!
PM me if you want it....not sure if I can post .apk files like that.

Attached is wood.apk from the new HTC Mecha dump. Basically it's an apk for that phone to provide a wood theme!! This would be cool to use to create a new theme or to port over to the EVO.

There is also a skinpicker.apk in that ROM dump, looks like it let's the user pick between theme. Interesting concept. So food for thought if all you themers get bored.

Wait a second, it installed fine on the EVO? How do you get it to work?
All of these install fine and can be used on any desire z/HD rom. The thunderbolt uses sense 2.0 which is the same as the z and HD.
Inside the .apk's are preview shots. Here they are: (I kind of like that metal rosie)

Ahh I see. Perhaps some kind soul can port these themes and the app to change them over to the EVO.

I have a question about the skins to, if i go to the skin section, i see the stock htc skin with a transparant dock, but when i use it the dock is not transparant, in some vids i also see transparant dock, do you guys have a transparant dock?

Agreed, that one has the nicest dock setup. And coming from a Vibrant with CM7, I like the cyan highlight color
I've managed to decompile, edit, and recompile a sense 3.0 skin. But I cannot find the Navbar.png to edit it. Somebody please HELP ME ! Ive edited all kinds of 2.0 and 2.1 skins, but cannot find the navbar in this one. the "shared.m10" file has no images in it (that i can find) but it has to be in there.

that is further than I got.
U have to deconpile using com.HTC.resources and framework-res as dependencies. I just can't decompile the additional images in the shared. m10 file

There is also sense-ui, remember? Go to desire forum, people have been editing stuff from sense 3.0 i believe, try asking there.

NRG!!! So happy to have you on Sensation thread. I was wondering if you knew by chance if we could use our HTC HD2 Sense 3.0 Skins on the Sensation, because i personally liked the transparency in the HD2.
Hd2 is sense 2.0 I believe. If so, then u can't use on sensation. Im not familiar with Hd2. Is it sense 2.0 or 3.0. Im thinking 2.0

True true, i am running a Sense 3.0 Rom on my HD2, and i was wondering if i could simply move the transparent one to my Sensation. The resolution is going to be a big problem though.
U have a transparent skin on ur Hd2 sense 3.0 ROM? Or is it a zip theme ? Is it in personalize/skin on the Hd2 ??

Sadly, i have figured out it was the built in theme on the Sense ROM that all Sensations actually have (only on the picture though), it never applies the transparency to the dock however. Sadly.
As soon as diamondback comes out with updated m10 editor, I will be able to edit skins and ull have that transparent rosie. Doesn't look like its gonna be real soon though. They just started the new build for the m10 editor.

Here's a wallpaper I made for all of you. It's made to the exact size and DPI of the HOX. It's got some Jelly Bean inspired roots, with a little bit of my own style thrown in.
Note: These are in PNG format. When applying through gallery, you WILL see noticeable degradation of the gradient quality. To fix this, download "dodol wallpaper" from the play store, hit "create wallpaper" (right-most tab), and select "use whole image as wallpaper". That way, you'll see it how it should be.
