[REQ] BUFF theme

I would love to have a BUFF theme, similar to what was available for the G1. Hopefully someone will make one soon.

I would love the buuf theme ported too but with htc sense buuf too they always kake it aosp buuf it would be nice

+1 on this, I had the theme for my Hero as well and loved it.

+1 On this too. Never got to use it on my hero since i got my evo before i could flash it in. Just flashed it over last night before selling it. I'd be willing to help out and provide a test evo.

They don't use ADW maybe. Also, it is buuf, not buff (pet peeve).

+1 for this. Loved Buuf, had it on my iphone (shudders) and on my G1, would be great to have one on my Evo (with Sense UI also)

This would be great. I love Buuf, I have it set for my TrueLaunchBar menus.
Edit: looking back at Buuf themes for Windows XP, I think it should be easy to modify MattedBlues for Sense into a Buuf theme.

I buuf'd my phone myself by putting the icons on my sd card and using folder organizer and desktop virtualizer to set the desktop up. I even made a custom weather skin for beautiful widgets. Its more time consuming than just flashing a theme but you get the satisfaction of using the icons you want and making it truly unique. Pics attached. I hope.

I'm using the Buuf theme for adw.launcher and love it. I'm so damn jealous of the iPhone ONLY because of this theme. This thread has pushed me to finally download the necessary software to start a theme. It'll take awhile since I'm new, but I'll see what I can do.

Since there a Batman theme I was wondering if there will be a superman theme I'm hoping there is going to be because I really like the Batman one

when i think Superman i think Bright colors of Red blue and Yellow lol but would be cool

I may venture into this for you. let me finish my other theme "Ice Cold" and then I'll see what I can do.

Maybe incorporate some Smallville elements into it, that would be cool, and use the original superman shield not the crappy Superman Returns one.

Ok. I think I might base it on your Batman. The way you locksceen is but with the Superman emblem.

Im going to start working on porting the lg star clock for the incredible.
i just need to find the lg star weather clock apk and i can get started
heres a few clocks that are combined lg star and htc clock

no source yet ive looked.
ill look at the miui fancy widget and see if it can give me a starting point.
this thread is mostly just to see if there is much interest in this and
if i should put in the time or work on my other projects.

after coming from a captivate with all the awesome themes we had I'm shocked at how few themes are for the inspire. especially since all the themers got inspires

We just need to build more stable ROMS worthy of creating themes for. They will come in due time.

First off...is there a guide for making themes? I've been playing around with UOT ROM kitchen and its great for changing up a few things, but as far as I can see...it doesn't let you theme the wallpaper.

heh...I meant I'm not sure how to get a themed wallpaper into a flashable zip. Like the ROM kitchen lets you make changes, then it creates a flashable zip for ya...(I'm sure you know all this) but I haven't figured out how to get that themed wallpaper to flash with those changes.
EDIT: I just found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=916814 and it might help me learn more about theming.

There's quite a few over in the Desire HD Themes thread.

Kind of off topic but how can I change the icons in launcher pro? When I long press and try to go to custom icons it takes me my camera pictures not the only stuff. Any help would be appreciated

yea there are very very few themes in here . so i suggest switching to a cm7 rom.. use theme choosers Themes .. bunch of them in android themes section.

Downside to using Theme chooser with CM7 is that your WidgetLocker screen will need to be reconfigured every time you reboot...

I made my own theme as I couldn't get some of the images I wanted to use to work as background images.
That being said, I wish there were more bubble types that I could add in.

Using the ics dark theme. Really goes well with aokp rom.

I just changed the colors/fonts of the bubbles and put some pics of my kids as the background images. I like it, though I'd like to tweak it some more.

I downloaded the Theme Maker from the Play store and just went through it there. Worked great.

I'm using Google UI as well, but customized the colors to look more ICS/JB themed.
