HTC inspire 4G rooted locked on HTC screen after reboot after reboot - HTC Inspire 4G

I am rooted with leedroid 3.2.1 and all has been working fine. all of a sudden my wifi stopped working so I did a normal reboot and now it's stuck in the white HTC screen . Please help
K4GET

Try removing the battery, then putting it back in
Hold power button and volume down to enter recovery
Then select restart phone from menu.
If that works go into settings and make sure 'fast boot' is disabled.

HTC inspire 4G rooted locked on HTC screen after reboot
Thank you for your reply.
I tried that couldn't get it into the recovery bootloader. hooked it back up to
simple one click from Bobby downgraded it again. Installed Leedroid again worked fine till this morning went into a loop loading leedroid . pulled the battery and rebooted it then and that worked again.
Wondering if leedroid is the best rom for this phone?
THANKS RON K4GET

The best ROM is whatever works for you that YOU feel is the best. Its personal opinion really but I've had an incredible experience with Android Revolution. Using 5.2.6 right now.

Anyone how to root the mesmerize with gingerbread?

Just like the title says. I can't figure out how to root my Samsung Mesmerize now that I upgraded to gingerbread.
I used to use superoneclickroot when it was on eclair and froyo and it worked fine. It not longer works now that I have gingerbread.
Anyone know how to get it rooted?
Thanks in advance !
I bought my phone with gingerbread and I'm looking for somthing too. Nothing out there.

Currently, there is no way for us to root our phones on stock GB. You have to flash a pre-rooted ROM.
Actually I did this and it worked. Flash cwm with Odin then flash this in recovery. Rooted it just fine for me.

Well, I got tired of waiting and I did the deed. Aaaannnnd..... it worked! I'm rooted and running fine. No problems so far.

A friend of mine just got one of these. Why are there no instructions on how to root these phones?
Slo how does a person root this phone? It has Gingerbread, was purchased 3 days ago.
Thanks
I got my Mesmerize yesterday with GB on it. All I did was grabbed the latest MIUI from miui.us and placed it on the sd. Then I flashed cwm in odin, booted to recovery and flashed the miui zip.
Sent from my MIUI'd Mesmerize
Alright so I am seeing too many things without referenced links to anything. I have odin. I downloaded the flashable_root_package. I have no idea what cwm is.
Can someone please point me to a step by step tutorial? I have been lurking the web for a few days now, with no definitive guide or answers for the Samsung Mesmerize. Thanks in advance for the clarification and help!
There are tutorials on rootzwiki in the mesmerize forum. That's also where all the devs are now due to issues here at xda.

Download that. Put it on your SD Card. Choose Install Zip from SD Card. Install it. It'll give you superuser permissions.
I went to rootz wiki and grabbed the cwm odin file, odin'd that over stock with reboot unchecked and held volume up + volume down + power button. Got into cwm and flashed MIUI and all is working great.

No mobile network

So after 2 days of trying to go from froyo to gingerbread to get raverX3X's octane rom I initially lost my mobile connection somehow. I noticed it last night while I still had froyo. When I switched over to GB this morning I noticed still no network? Idk if it has something to do with the process of installing the roms, or T-mobile's problem? I'm not even sure if I have the rom in hahah, so it'd be nice if someone can at least confirm that for me.
Heres some info on the phone.
Mobile Network Type: Out of service
Mobile network state: disconnected
IMEI: Unknown
IMEI SV: Unknown
Firmware version: 2.3.6
Baseband Version: Unknown
Kernel version: 2.6 35.7-T959VUVKJ6-CL694130
Build number: GINGERBREAD.VUVKJ6
I need my connection going to make work easier lol. thanks!
These people are likely having the same problem.

I don't understand how all of your IMEIs got wiped.

Oh I'm not the only one thank god haha. Yeah hopefully there will be a solution soon!
mrchovee, do me a favor and take out your battery for 10 minutes and see if that fixes it and post back please. Thanks in advance.
I wonder if the IMEI actually got wiped, if it can't be read (permissions), or if it has something to do with the modem (baseband) not being recognized?
- If you have CWM installed have you tried booting into recovery & fixing the permissions?
- Have you tried flashing back to stock using Raver's ODIN KJ6 ROM (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1353176) or one of the KC1 ROMs (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1129933)?
Wow taking out the battery for 10min worked perfectly! thank you so much!! right before work too haah!
Nice find, Silvercar!
Glad it worked.
EXACT same problem here since last night :-(
Still searching for solutions.
I have one question, I made BU's thank god, what I want to know if ROM BU's actually back up all folders including the EFS, which holds the IMEX etc ??

So this is a problem related to No SERVICE......cause the minute i had service back, everything reappeared.
Now, I have to do all my New Rom's again.........small price to pay for a solution
I had the same problem and I ended up doing an exchange for 20 dollars since I was still in warranty. I wish I knew about the battery trick earlier...
Just so everyone knows I started a thread called "No carrier signal + IMEI Problems = take out your battery" a while back. Try and search it, it should come up.

[Q] Cyanogenmod in bootloop, clockwork mod not loading properly. please help!

So I flashed CM7 on my D2G and after the reboot I tried to boot into my clockworkmod recovery to wipe the data so the bootloop would end, but when i hold power/x I get the little android guy with the exclamation point in a triangle above him but when i press the magnifier/search button nothing happens. I know that all I need to do to make the rom work is wipe my data. so how would I go about doing that without having to reflash with sbf and everything? is there a way to fix my clockwork mod? or another way to erase my data?
First, you cannot enter CWM like that.
Power + X takes you to the stock recovery; on 4.5.x, you need to press the volume buttons together to enter it, not the hardware keyboard's Search button.

I know that this is anancient thread, but i decided to take a crack at mt D2G today and successfully rooted it and was able to get to the bootstrap recovery, but after installing the cm7 and gapps, the darn thing is just stuck at the red m screen indefinitely. I let it sit there for about 5 min, and to avoid having my battery die, i pulled it and started reading. I really dont wanna sbf it (if i really dont have to) and i need to get to clockwork recovery. Any suggestions?

only thing fishy is how verizon/motorola changed the unlock codes, so that some d2gs can not be unlocked, most still can be unlocked, there is atleast 3 different code generating algorithms, you may need to try all 3, but the 1st one works for most

all 3 of these should work, if first code does not work, only retry it 1 more time, then request a different code or a refund.
you have a limited number of tries before you get locked out, so don't waste them on a code that doesn't work

If CM10 is anything like Synergy it does a check for the bootloader being unlocked and if it is locked still it skips installing the kernel. The rest of it goes along fine.

[Q] Bootloop on TF101G with ARHD 3.5.1 PowerMenu

Hello to all,
I'm new to write, but I read you a long time because I have more terminals Android.
I installed the ROM Android Revolution HD by Mike 1986 (v3.5) a few days ago and I can say that everything worked smoothly on a TF101G. :good:
But, last night I installed ARHD 3.5.1-Power-Menu-signed and there, always in bootloop!
Do you have any suggestions? How can I go back without reflash all over again? I have the CWM v5.8.3.4.
As I am new, I can not write directly on his thread.
Thanks all!
