Thanks for the graphics.
If I'm reading on my Kindle app I will bring it along. If I'm reading something good paper might be replaced by autoazomai
Well the TF can replace a book. It's a multi-use device and one of those uses is ::GASP:: an e-reader!
It's the modern equivalent of people reading a book on the toilet back when these didn't exist. I don't personally do it but there's nothing strange about it IMO, it's business as usual in this age of fancy electronics. I'm sure they took craps while reading papyrus books too.
Slightly off-topic, it has been said that those who read on the toilet are smarter than those who don't. I forgot where I read this, it may be junk science. It may just be that if you're willing to get your "read on" while crapping you're obviously more interested in reading than those who don't.
It has also been said that you can get some nasty hemorrhoids if the reading keeps you in there longer than you normally would.
Ahah me too, but with or without the keyboard ?
Don't you know that methane emissions are harmful to the Transformer?? j/k Yep when I pinch a loaf I'll read Pulse.
my diet consists of a lot of fibres.
i dont usually take my electronic devices with me when i take a crap.
What better place to ...ahem....clear the mind?
Yes...! I admit it! I do TF on the throne!!

Hey all,,,
Well, im trying to root my samsung mesmerize and when i get to the part where it says run as administrator, it keeps asking for a password. Is there a step ive missed or something else i have to do? Please let me know. I'm trying to use my phone as a wireless hotspot or wireless tethering device to use for laptop or xbox 360 or whatever. So,, any info/help would be greatly appreciated, THANKS!!!!
What the hell are you talking about man? You've got to be more clear. Are you talking about running whatever root procedure on your computer as an administrator? If that's the case then the password is clearly going to be whatever the password is for the administrator account on your computer.
And by the way, no way you're going to be able to play 360 games online with tethering. You would lag out the ass.

Not to mention blast through you data cap at a fairly quick rate.
Ive played WoW on my mobile connection before, granted it was very laggy it was still do able, in comparison hughes net was a worse gaming connection then the cell but neither are great, not recommended for anything serious; as for the 360 the most I have even tried on there is just loading add ons and game updates both of which worked fine.

Aw, Add I'm so happy you care if I'm getting laid, I'm happily married with children and unfortunately probably much older than you, and since I've seen many of your bar posts I'll keep my carpral tunnel possibility because I like video games, have all the consoles too if you got some jokes to crack on those and you keep on rotting your liver. But thanks though dawg, good looking, I'm glad I'm not the only one looking out for my ****. And as for the do some drugs or something fun comment idk man I might have to state grow up a little and do what you do but don't advertise as its not legal yet, son.. What are you one of those I'm so cool 21 year olds who announces ha ha I'm so drunk, and make stupid posts from the bar because I can't handle my liquor, lol... I used to date stupid girls like you, do sit around and giggle incessantly too once your drunk and then in the morning claim omg what did I do last night because "you were too drunk to be responsible"... The one thing I hate about forums/texts is that attitude is easily misconceived. It wasn't meant rude but most of the things I post come off that way sadly (perhaps I should stop posting lol).

Gorilla Glass is a heat treated tempered glass with incredible resistance to scratching and cracking due to short drops. But when you put a phone in your pocket it can be subjected to twisting and bending forces it is not designed to withstand. The phone was probably getting upward pressure from your thigh and upward pressure from your abdomen/waist and being flexed in such a manner created forces that cracked the screen. Phones with large format touchscreens should never be carried in this manner, as you can see from your unfortunate results.
From what I have seen on the net these phones are one of the easiest smartphones to disassemble, but LG USA will do the repair for about $75.00. Beats taking it apart yourself to save $20 IMHO. Call them, set up the service and send it in for repair.
I am giving an Asus Transformer tablet as a present to my sister-in-law.
However, she lives pretty far away, and has never touched anything "Android".
Does anybody know where I can find some basic "User's Guide" or "How To" videos on how to use a Honeycomb Tablet?
Thanks,
¿GJ?

Now, that's funny.
Maybe you're just kidding, traxxus, but if not - Android certainly isn't self-explanatory for someone who hasn't had any experience with a smartphone or Android device.
Apple iOS isn't self-explanatory, either. Both have a learning curve.
My wife has been using her Droid X for well over a year now, and there is still quite a lot she doesn't understand on her phone. If someone isn't tech-savvy, a new tablet can be pretty intimidating.
Since I can't be there to help my sister-in-law out, I want to help her out as much as possible. I want to make sure she enjoys her new present, and that it doesn't end up in a corner somewhere collecting dust.
Cheers,
¿GJ?
I will put a few together tomorrow. Been meaning to do this to intro newbies to the dark side. Help fight saint stephen's holy apple church.
Thanks, goodintentions - I will keep an eye out for it!
I was really amazed that there is so little available on the web in Android training (at least, where I searched). It certainly would make the platform even more popular, and help dispel the "Android isn't easy to use" myth.

I'm not sure if it is possible to create a higher capacity battery while still keeping the same dimensions of the original battery. If it was that simple, shouldn't HTC have done this themselves?

So what? Seriously, why does it matter? I use a lot of dots....................does it affect my content or intent?
People who feel the need to scold or correct others is a bigger problem here than any caps IMO. Been here at the One S forum for less than a week and had my fill of it. Wasn't this bad at the G2X side.

OK so to answer your question there is a way to change the battery say it becomes unusable, (Direct from T-Mobile tech support ) you can bring in the device to a service store and they can replacement it for you or upgrade it with an extended version that's made for it and there is a battery / case you can buy that fits over the device and doubles the life of the existing battery and protects the device at the same time.
Once I get mine in the mail this week (buy one get one free, I got two) I'll pull one apart and try to change out the sdcard to a 32gb (I guess it's gotta be cut on the left side to fit) and I'll report back with how I do.
But for the short answer, No and No with a side of lost topic abuse. Good luck...........

Actually it's been done already but I'm having a hard time finding the read through on it again but it shows you how to cut the SDCard ( along the side , it has to match the one taken from it.) so that it will fit the holder it locks into, it's not like the standard slot it actually has a plate over it.
If I find the breakdown again I'll post it but it actually doesn't look that hard to do but I think it didn't matter what kind of card it had to be as long as the casing was cut correctly.
I'm just not going to let this 32 gb SDCard go to waste even if I ruin one in the process I'll try anything once. I have pretty good hands though and because I'm use to soldering boards I think it shouldn't be too bad.
(If the information I got was correct too, you never know with the Net though.)
The information about the battery is valid though a tech at T-Mobile did say there is a battery that is made that will fit the case that you can upgrade it too but I didn't ask how much.

I'm very curious about this. I did a search last night, but couldn't find anything. Saw many interior pics but nothing w/ a card visible.
Any idea where you saw it?
The speeds from the internal storage are way faster than a typical micro sdhc, I'm not convinced that someone will find an sd card slot in there
